This is one of a series of articles spotlighting our storage facilities and neighborhoods.
Incorporated in 1953, North Richland Hills, or NRH as it's commonly referred to, has grown to a population of 70,000 residents, making it the 3rd largest city in Tarrant County. The slogan "City of Choice to Live, Work, and Play" suits the town, which is the home to lots of family-friendly activities
Art is big in this town, and we're not just saying that because it's Texas! Driving or walking around town, you might come across one of town's public art pieces. The Art in Public Spaces program installs sculptures, paintings, and murals by outstanding nationally-renowned artists in parks and public buildings throughout the town. Pull your bike out of your storage unit at North Richlands Hills CubeSmart and seek out the art pieces in parks by riding the nearby Cotton Belt Trail starting at Dick Faram Park.
Our self-storage facility in NRH is not only perfect for bike storage but also for people looking to get a little more space in their lives. With 435 climate-controlled units in total, our managers are there for you to ensure you get the unit best suited to your individual needs. Our manager lives on-site so we can provide the best customer service possible. In addition to having 24-hour video recording, we sell locks and packing supplies to save you from having to drive all over town. A move-in truck, dollies, and handcarts are available for your use during the move-in. We even provide options for boat parking and indoor car parking.

Local Customers are Saying:
"Very friendly, clean always helpful! I see the staff on site cleaning areas a lot of the times I am there. They are always friendly and asking if they can assist me when I see them."
"The property is spotless and Mindy is an absolute pleasure. The units are very nice and clean as well. Didn’t see stains, anything. Also, the security keypads are all accessible by driving up. No need to get out of the car. Very very pleased. I’m used to public storage so this is a breath of fresh air!!"

Break your bikes out for the monthly "'Round the Town with Oscar", a bike ride led by Mayor Oscar Trevino. This ride provides you with the opportunity to get to know the area and the people. When you're done, store all your gear in your CubeSmart unit before heading to the nearby NYTEX Sports Centre for a professional hockey game. The home ice for the Lone Star Brahmas is less than a two-mile drive from CubeSmart's storage facility.
Every spring, the city hosts a Sounds of Spring concert series, which spans over the course ofsix weeks. Happening rain or shine from mid-April to mid-May, the NRH Centre Events plaza fills with people sitting on blankets and chairs enjoying music.
As recommended local CubeSmart manager Mindy, walk over to Back 40 Smokehouse for the best local Texas-style barbeque when you're done unpacking into your storage unit. The restaurant is located just across Davis Boulevard, and can be reached easily on foot. If you're in the mood for a burger or cup of coffee, drive a little way up the street to the local Sonic.
