This is one of a series of stories we are sharing to show what’s inside CubeSmart. You not only get a peek inside our customer’s storage unit, but also a peek inside what is important to them. Thank you to Cliff Snedeker, a customer of our CubeSmart store in Dallas, for sharing his story with us.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cliff Snedeker is not from the Dallas area. He is a Florida native from Clearwater Beach and an alum of Florida State University. His job as a salesman for Armstrong Ceilings Solutions is what brought Cliff from the beaches of Florida to the urban life of Dallas, Texas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After years of working for Armstrong Ceiling Solutions, his role changed from sales to marketing. Instead of traveling as much as he had to as a salesman, Cliff is now responsible for marketing with the help of his camera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cliff first rented a space at the Lewisville CubeSmart<\/a> to store samples for the commercial ceiling business, but then Cliff had another idea of how he could use his CubeSmart space to help with his video marketing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I thought my cube would be a good place to shoot some of our videos,” said Cliff. “It’s a nice and quiet place, so I rehabbed it to make it more video friendly.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cliff has a climate controlled storage unit, which means he can now shoot his videos and work on the editing right there at the Lewisville CubeSmart. \u201cI got electricity, so it helps when I\u2019m working on my videos,\u201d said Cliff. \u201cEditing takes the majority of the time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the videos are complete, Cliff then places the videos on both the company’s website and on YouTube.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After being with Armstrong Ceiling Solutions for more than 27 years, Cliff has made significant moves both in location and job roles. Through it all, Cliff is happy to call Dallas his home. He is satisfied with his new role in the marketing business, and Cliff loves having a CubeSmart workspace to shoot and edit his marketing videos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
