The rampant growth of Brooklyn has finally trickled out to East New York where developers\u2019 eyes are glowing with potential. As the new frontier of New York City, the Department of City Planning took to the drawing board in April of 2016 to create a plan to achieve sustainable long-term growth for this area. The result was the East New York Neighborhood Plan, a blueprint of rezoned areas and new construction to \u201cpromote affordable housing, economic development, and improved community resources.\u201d<\/p>\n
