I thought the rental process, both opening and closing an account, was super easy. The building and units were secure and easy to access. Each time a encountered an employee, they were friendly and respectful!

My moving day did not go as planned, as is usually the case for moving days. I tried my best to get to R street well before closing time but didn't get there as early as I would have liked. Nevertheless, the manager was extremely professional while helping another customer at the same time. He assured me that my arrival time was not an issue and did not express any unhappiness or agitation when he ended up having to stay past closing time. My day could have really gone from bad to worse but thank goodness, I had at least one thing going for me that day. Thanks so much!

The facility and staff are fantastic. Really convenient to where we live. The one thing that I don't understand is the frequent rate increases. Maybe it's somewhere in our contract, but it feels like we get notifications pretty often saying that our monthly charges have gone up a few dollars.

I had never used a storage service, so I wasn't sure how the process worked. I called the facility to make the reservation and received immediate and substantive help. The staff at the facility walked me through every step of the process. Then when I arrived at the facility the staff helped me move my things into my unit and then walked me through setting up my account. The service at every stage was above and beyond what I expected. I would definitely recommend Cubesmart to anyone needing storage help.

The place is relatively easy to get to for DC these day (there is bad traffic everywhere). The site is clean and appears secure with 24/7/365 monitoring. The staff was really nice nice, efficient, and super helpful! This is the second storage locker I have rented. The other locker was rented for about five years ending five years ago from another company. This place is far better in every way!

I switched to Cubesmart after receiving what I considered a ridiculous and unacceptable rent increase from another self-storage company in the area, which wasn't temperature controlled (even though they advertised otherwise) and closed hours before 10pm every day. The only time I could move stuff to and from was on the weekends. Enter Cubesmart. The office closes around 5 or 6, but customers can enter the facility until 10pm daily. The elevators require a security code that each customer receives and limits them to the floor(s) that their storage space is located on. Cubesmart has been both the cheapest option and the most bang for my buck. I use it to store bikes and tools that I don't use enough to keep at the apartment I rent, which has a limited amount of space. If you're a college student or young professional moving into the area, this is probably the best deal you're going to find. Odds are you'll be paying more for less anywhere else unless you look at options in Virginia and Maryland.

This Cube Smart storage facility is clean and spacious. It is so convenient and very close to my home.

After reserving my unit online, I discovered that the unit was not going to meet my needs, upon arrival. Wynfred, who is the manager, gave me alternatives and made sure that I was happy with the choice. He went above and beyond to "make it work." I highly recommend CubeSmart if you are tired of the run-around and rudeness of other storage companies. This is the real deal.

My experience with CubeSmart store 0594 on R street in Washigton DC was fantastic. I must admit my pre planning for storage space wasn't very good. i didn't know my college freshman even needed a storgae space until I arrived to pick her up. It became quickly apparent we needed storage space and fast! That's when I talked with another parnet who mentioned CubeSmart, I'd never heard of the company before and assumed I should find a Public Storage location. When I arrived I was immediate greeted by Store Manager Roberto even as the pace was swampped with people. He asked a simple question, 'do you have a reservation?' Looking at all the people in the office location I knew i was in toruble when i answered 'no.' Roberto was calm and said 'let me see what we can do.' He then completed helping others in the store and asked me to follow him. We went into the storage area and he asked just the right questions to discern my needs. After a few short minutes he said, 'I think I've got something for you.' And sure enough he did! This could have been a highly stressful situation. Actually, it already sure a streeful situation for me and my daughter. But Roberto masterfully and quickly liad my concerns and stress to rest. I stringly recommend CubeSmart as a company and brand, and I particularly recommend Roberto and the Washington DC R street location. Real pros! DC

This place is ideal - simple, easy, and great customer service, especially for being in the pithole of customer service - DC! Website is excellent and very easy to use, too.

I appreciate the customer service at CubeSmart and especially the team at the R Street NE DC location. It's convenient and they're very courteous. The only issue I've encountered is that I was not made aware of the auto-pay option when I signed up - so I incurred a late fee. I was under the impression that it was "automatically" deducted from my account unless I stated otherwise. Please be aware you MUST sign up for auto recurring payments - either in the store or online #even if they don't mention it to you#.

I picked CubeSmart because it is so close to my apartment. I went in and was greeted by extremely nice professionals. I had a cup of coffee while I waited in the nice waiting room and was signed up in a matter of minutes. The facility is clean and convenient. Everyone was helpful. I've already recommended it to friends.

The location is convenient and easily accessible. The staff is extremely helpful. After I reserved a unit online, Danny called within a few minutes to confirm the reservation. When I went to find the right unit, Nicole was very helpful with explaining options and services and she did a great job finding just the right unit. Move-in was easy and quick.

The location is great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a bit of confusion about my reservation being cancelled out before within the 30 day window, but the district manager was excellent and handled it very professionally. I would definitely recommend this storage facility to others!

Is there some way the lights can stay on until you are finished your visit to your unit. My unit is on the opposite end of the corridor from the trigger device and I have to keep walking all the way down the hall to turn the lights back on. Other storage companies have a timer switch you set yourself.
