Your employee is worth his weight in gold
I just wanted to take a moment to draw your attention to an employee of yours, Chris Martinez. Today the door on my storage unit totally ceased to function leaving all of my tools and equipment vulnerable. Chris surveyed the situation and determined the door would need replacement. The upper "axle" was off its mounting bracket was totally off its mounting bracket. The door was so heavy it could not be lifted by one person. I was bummed,.as I come in and out of my unit several times a day. Then I saw a spark inside him as he reconsidered. He ask me for my key and promised to get back to me before the end of the day! I figured sure, I had heard that before. To much utter amazement, he called me two hours later and told me the door was fixed and the unit was securely locked! First he had gone to a local lumberyard, but was unable to purchase what he needed. Then to he went to Walmart and found a handle for free weights in the sporting goods section, bought it for $7.00 (yes, I said seven dollars) and quickly repaired the door to my unit. AND its not just a temporary fix; its fixed for good!!!. Amazing!!!!!. If a service tech had been summoned, it would have cost well over Seven Hundred Dollars, I am sure. As a business person and employer, I know gold when I see it. Chris Martinez is as good as gold and you are lucky to have him.
