Over the 30+ years that I've lived in the DMV area, I've had occasion to utilize several storage companies. I've never been as pleased and satisfied with any self-storage company as I am with CubeSmart. The staff is professional, friendly, and informative. The facility is always clean and it's minutes away from my residence. I enthusiastically recommend them to anyone seeking storage!

The staff here is great, very helpful and polite and they make a genuine effort to make it a pleasant experience doing business at CubeSmart. I have 2 units at this location rented 4 months apart. The facilities have been very clean and tidy each time I have been there, both in the office area and the storage area. They have enough dollies/carts and elevators and bay doors to quickly get a truck unloaded into the units.

Facility fairly clean and friendly staff at sign on. I experienced price increase twice within a year's time and not happy at all. Also they impose insurance on items stored. Looking for other options to move my stuff out. 137 dollars a month does not make me happy, :(

Monte and Derek were very helpful. My move in was easy. Derek let me know there was a more convenient unit, for a little bit more. That was immensely helpful on my moving day. It was really hot the day I moved in, they made sure I had water to drink, and that I had carts to help me move. Even asked if I needed a break to sit inside the lobby for some AC. Very helpful staff. Clean facility. Convenient location

I have been happy with my experience over the last 2 years. The staff is wonderful. My only complaint are the mice. Not sure what the staff can do about that. They seem to appear in every storage facility. Overall, I am pretty happy with this place.

The location is easy to get to from the highway and major secondary roads, key when you need to be able to access your storage unit easily. The staff are knowledgeable (space size, rates, availability), friendly and helpful. The place is clean and the price is affordable!

The only problem I have is increment in rent every six months. I will use this storage for next 3-4 years as I will be based out of the country. However, the store manager informed me to expect increase in rent every six months. When I inquired about the long -term rental, he didn't hold back in saying that's how it is so take it or leave it. Since then my rent has been increased. The staff is courteous.

I like everything about the Alexandria CubeSmart except for the annual price hike. The staff is great and the facility is excellent but if you stay more than a few years, it's cheaper to start over somewhere else. I moved out and saved over $100 bucks a month. There is no reward for being a loyal customer.

Clean self storage facility with professional customers service

Temporary Storage: I needed a place to put boxes and other items that couldn't be used to stage my condo for sale. I have since moved most of what I have but still retain one of the two bins I had since I still have things that won't show well in the condo I wish to sell. THANK YOU for the climate control and security. I always felt very safe while there and the environment on hot summer days was perfect.

I’ve used Cubesmart for a 1.6 yrs and have been pleased with them over that time. I gave 4 stars on cleanliness only because at times the grounds could be picked up better or better yet the people moving in and out should pickup after themselves better but I did find mouse poop in my unit, not an alarming amount but still there. You almost have to expect that but I’m just hoping they didn’t enter any boxes and I get a surprise. I’d rent again.

Staff is eager to help and very friendly. Access is very secure, multiple keypads to gain entry. Hallways are well lit. Carts are always available to move big loads.

The customer service is excellent at this location. That coupled with the tidy storage units will make me refer others in need.

The location is very convenient for me and the staff is friendly but be prepared for the rates to steadily creep up.

The facility was always clean and the best part was the staff at the front desk who were always willing to help answer questions. Tim was particularly helpful when I needed some guidance on moving my items out when I no longer needed storage space..

The building was always clean and the office staff were great. When my husband passed away suddenly and I forgot to pay my rent, which caused a full break down in the office, the gave me a sympathetic shoulder and hug. I wouldn't have moved out but the rent had gotten so high I couldn't afford it anymore

Our organization needed to close out our storage unit in one day. It was not an easy task but Tim the manager was extremely helpful and it was one of the main reasons we were able to get it done. He offered helpful referrals, held doors as I was trying to maneuver carts full of boxes of files, gave me water to keep me hydrated, answered all my questions and assisted in so many little ways. I would still be there otherwise!

I've used other self storage facilities prior to this and they were not as good as CubeSmart. Their customer service, cleanliness, and quality facilities exceeded my expectations.

The facility and staff are wonderful but the rent was already at my upper limit so when they increased it I had to move out. Great option for short term needs.

I used a storage unit here for about 4 months while I was out of the country and was so happy with my experience! Everyone who worked there was nice/helpful, there were carts I could use to take loads from my car to the unit, and had no issues! Would 100% use Cube Smart again.

I rented there several years ago and the staff especially “The Marine” was always there to offer a greeting to brighten your day! All staff made certain that they watched over me as I moved things in and out! I couldn’t ask for a better place to store my possessions! These guys were fantastic throughout the process! I needed a month of storage originally to help a cross-country move and from start to finish the experience was excellent. It made my move so much easier and when I needed to extend it for another few months, it was no problem. The staff helped facilitate a container move which another company made quite stressful but the people at cube smart were my anchor, super helpful and always treated me with dignity and respect which I really appreciated! Will definitely be back when I need storage!

I've been storing my stuff here for a few years, and love the helpful and friendly staff and the well-kept facilities. My only issue has been the time it's taken to get the main gate fixed (hence fewer stars on security features), but the additional layers of well-maintained security and attentive staff have mostly mitigated my concern on that front. I plan to keep my stuff here for as long as I'm in the area!

This was the most pleasant experience I've ever had renting storage. The facilities are clean, secure and easy to access. Most of all, the staff is friendly and helpful - it was a PLEASURE to do business with them! On top of that, the storage units are well laid out, clean and well lit and the prices are comparable with other local storage facilities that are not even half as nice as these. I'll never go anywhere else if there is a CubeSmart around from now on.

Was over seas had multiple late bills, they exhausted all efforts to allow me to pay. Stored my belongings with them for over a year, security is second to none, customer service is awesome. There is valid reason why they are more expensive than other locations.

I used another large chain storage facility in Alexandria for years at two different locations. My experience at CubeSmart is so great I wish I had never given money to anyone else. There are always available carts to use, the security is good and not complicated. The facility is clean and has a restroom for customers. The service representatives and site manager are always friendly and very helpful.

I'm a professional organizer who has been managing a couple units for a client in Old Town for more than a year now. Not only is it one of the most reasonably priced in the area (I did a LOT of shopping based on my client's special requests), I always have a pleasant experience whenever I stop in. The units and buildings are well-maintained and safe. I prefer climate controlled in order to better protect my clients' belongings--well worth the investment. Everyone at the front desk is so friendly and helpful--they always do what they can to address any concerns or answer any questions you may have. I will use nothing other than this place south of the city!

Overall for me it's a great storage rather than the other storage company I been thru .
