Very pleasant experience all around. If I had one thing to improve upon, it would be the gate closed system. I understand not being able to gain access after hours, but getting locked into the facility late at night is not fun. One night my car battery had died (fortunately another customer was around and willing to give me a jump) but that process held us both up long enough that we missed the exit time. Had to call the emergency number several times before receiving any response. Perhaps an automated service that texts you a one time gate code could be implemented? Even with a, say, can only use 3 times a month or there could be a fee? Otherwise, it has been a thouroughly enjoyable experience. Clean facility, feels private and secure, and the staff members have all been fantastic.

I arrived on Sunday about an hour before Closing for my 1st time inbound storage with CubeSmart Albuquerque. Kristina was on duty and she offered a rag and water to wipe down the item for storage while the paperwork was being prepared. Kristina was very helpful to find me a locker conclusive for the storage, which was very clean. I took longer than anticipated to prepare the item to be left and I was after hours when done. Kristina stayed to ensure everything was fine and offered me a ride to the local hotel which was on her way home. I am so appreciative of CubeSmart's and Kristina's service and care and recommend this facility for your storage needs.

I was going out of town for classes I needed to take for my job. It was close to Christmas time, when I knew burglaries go on the rise. I didn’t know what to do; even with a professional security alarm in my home, I knew I would be vulnerable to break ins. I discovered the convenience, and added protection of my possessions, with Smart Cubes climate controlled storage facilities. Smart Cube had several storage places in my city, so I was able to carefully choose which facility would best meet my needs. The manager of the Smart Cube business I was interested in using; was friendly, yet professional, and responsible. I discovered Smart Cube offers many layers of protection for important things I need to protect. Coming in off the street, the entire facility is protected by a master password to run the electric gate. There’s a good selection of available units, so I was able to choose a unit in a place I felt was safest for me. Storage units are combined in blocks of storage units. With an additional password needed to access the block, my chosen storage unit resides. Smart cube provides high quality padlocks to customers, with room on each door for an additional pad lock. Smart Cube also offers special insurance for self storage users. I also believe each Smart Cube facility has a resident manager, so there’s some one there all the time to watch, hear, listen for anything which isn’t right. And call police, should something go wrong at my chosen Smart Cube facility. With the thought my hard earned possessions were safe while away, it helped me keep my mind on studying hard at schooling, while I was out of town. I was able to make good grades, and not have to think how terrible it would be. Having done well while away at school, only to return home at Christmas with precious belongings gone forever. A home damaged by burglars, causing even more damage than anything they could have hoped to gain. I highly recommend the added security Smart Cube Self Storage offers in a very insecure world.

Everything from the initial set up to the closeout was great. The Office Manager was wonderful and very proactive. Nice to receive great customer service when customer service doesn't exist much anymore. I would highly recommend this location! You need to keep this Manager. We had just the storage we needed while we staged our home for sale. Gracie made sure we got a unit that was well suited to our needs. Our house sold and we're off to our new home. Each staff member we encountered at CubeSmart was courteous and the facility was so convenient for us.

I have three storage units, one is with a competitor. While the staff at Cubesmart are wonderful and the grounds are clean and secure I have always had a problem with the yearly rent increase. I have been with Cubesmart for nearly 10 years. I recently cleaned one of my storage units out and closed that account due to rent increases, I am doing the same with my last unit at Cubesmart. Get it? Yearly rent increase had killed the relationship. My third storage unit is with a competitor, 6 years with them and no rent increase and they still provide security and friendly managers. Cubesmart is clean, pretty and red but expensive.

This was our first time using a storage unit and we felt that it was a good experience. We only needed the unit for 2 months but were happy with the price and the convienance. The only complaint we have is that there were constantly broken down vehicles directly opposite of us left in our isle EVERY single time we went into our unit which often made it extremely difficult to get into our isle to load & unload. At one point there were 2 abandoned vehicles. It got so bad that we thought about changing our unit location. We complained and it got slightly better but it continued throughout our time there. We guessinmated that the person across from us was perhaps a mechanic and worked on vehicles there, but...is "running a business" allowed there? Odd.

The manager, Grace, was extemely helpful and friendly. I felt secure in leaving my belongings there as she took “above and beyond” interest in my rental process. I was particularly impressed with the security of the facility.

From researching this location to deposit, monthly payment, move in and move out, the staff at the Girard SE Cube Smart was helpful, friendly, and accommodating! They offered tips on packing for storage, lock types, storing, and were very welcoming. I highly recommend this facility.

Most of the experience was really good. Grace was always helpful and made my experience excellent at the storage facility. With that said, I was not ok with the rent increasing over and over again.

The customer service is really excellent. Both of the attendants I have worked with have been extremely courteous and friendly.

I wasn't familiar with the area before I moved and was looking for a storage facility. As it turned out, this one is nicely located between home and work. Access is simple but security seems solid. They had the size unit available when I needed it for a reasonable price, although there have been two increases in the year and a half I've had the unit. But the office staff is fantastic, helpful and responsive, and that's a big plus for me.

I've dealt with Storage Units before - and lost some precious mementos because they've all been about late fees - If you're one or two days late, they start tacking on late fees, making phone calls, etc. and make it impossible to catch up if you're caught in that loop - CUBE SMART IS DIFFERENT - If you're late, they give you a grace period before the late fee attaches - They were kind enough to call me before the first and second late fee was put on my account - and they were understanding that my mother had just passed away and the financial burden of her funeral was overwhelming - They worked with me so I would not lose my belongings - It is rare to find a storage place like this that actually cares that you are able to keep your stuff (But don't take advantage of it, if you're trying to get free storage for three months, it ain't gonna happen) - They treat you with the same respect you treat them - I've found that the office personnel are polite and listen - They understand we're human, we all make mistakes, and will work with you - All in all, if you need a safe, secure place to put your belongings for the short or long period, Cube Smart is the way to go -

I have used this facility since 2009. The service is excellent. It is clean and secure. Managers especially Gloria treated me like family and my stuff like their's. I was very happy to use them as I moved away and returned.

We really only needed a tiny itsy bitsy storage unit when we moved to Albuquerque (like a small closet) and CubeSmart was able to provide us with a great, clean, climate controlled indoor unit that accommodated our stuff. The best part was they took me to see the unit before renting to make sure it was really big enough but didn't get pushy about trying to convince me to upsize. It's working out great, thanks!
