I must share my experience with CubeSmart and I hope you read my review to the end to understand why I rated poorly—you and your wallet will appreciate it. While the staff's friendliness deserves recognition, the repeated rent increases for my small storage space left me disheartened and ultimately led me to moving out. At the outset, my lease signed in August 2020 and I was offered a reasonable rate of $45.92 – a seemingly fantastic deal, right? WRONG. Please continue reading this review to understand my disappointment and frustrations with CubeSmart. By May 2021, my rent rate increased to $54.60. By March 2022, I had another increase to $65.25. At the time, I had been renting my space for about a year and a half; I found these increases to be manageable and justifiable. The tipping point came 6 months later in September 2022– I was hit with yet another rent rate increase which brought my storage space rent to a staggering $119.57. When I reached out via email to management for an explanation, I was met with a vague response from Dave I believe who called me and linked the outrageous storage rent increase to the rising cost of living. Allow me to put this into perspective for those of you who’ve read this far. Within a mere six months, my rent skyrocketed by approximately 83.22%, surging from $65.25 to $119.57. This is an UNACCEPTABLE and UNDERHANDED practice on CubeSmart's part! As if that weren't enough, the rent continued to surge, after another increase where my rent was $145.23 in August 2023. This was the final straw for me. These escalating rent increments are distasteful, leading to deep disappointment with CubeSmart. Consequently, I made the decision to vacate just before my next bill was due. I couldn't justify supporting them any further, especially considering my modest 4x8 unit. I felt compelled to write this review to provide transparency and a fair warning to potential customers considering CubeSmart for their storage needs. While the staff's friendliness is a positive aspect (hence the two stars), the recurring rent increases and lack of justification for these increases are concerning. If you're searching for a long-term storage solution, I DO NOT RECOMMEND choosing CubeSmart. The allure of a seemingly great discount upon signing your lease can quickly fade as you find yourself burdened by unforeseen costs and escalating rent fees. Beware – if it appears too good to be true, it likely is.

I had a great experience with Cubesmart on Miltary trail in Delray Beach. I was able to downsize my space , the service was excellent and extremely easy to make the change. I recommend it 100% .

Quoted a price on Friday but couldn't move till Sunday. Came in Saturday to sign contract and the price went up $27! Rip off. Been u customer there for 2 years and the price goes up constantly.

very easy to reserve/rent storage locker and set up new account. Online info should have included the mandatory insurance requirement and also shown that the lockers are fencing material and not opaque as that affects how items for storage in it are packed.

Simple, affordable, and accessible year round. Did not experience rodents/crawlers after retrieving my items. (Belongings were stored in plastic sealed tubs ??… but still, ???? my scooter didn’t suffer damages either) Staff was always friendly and super helpful. No trouble ever! and arranging unit was super simple online!

Plus side is facilities seem to be clean and it’s convenient locations help. Downside is the extra fees like a $30 admin fee plus no option insurance plus tax on that is excessive!! And bugs happen so not sure they exterminate enough!

I was downsizing from a 10 by 10 to a 3 by 6 I think it is, Both the manager, Dave and the woman assisting him (Brownie) were very pleasant and and helpful and gave me a discount that I didn't know I was deserving of so my next month's rent was far less than the original. My downsizing efforts were well worth it.

Dave was amazing from beginning to end. I had looked at other places but my decision was made after having Dave set everything up for me. Checking in and interaction on day one was superb.

I had been looking for a storage for over a week before coming to CubeSmart. I just want to thank Tonia for all of her help. She asked me what size unit did I want and I had no idea. She didn't rush me or gave short answers to my questions. She showed me different size units before we found the size that I need. People like Tonia gets a five star rating from me not only was her customer service skills on point but she treated we like a value customer and appreciated my business. Another customer came in right before my paper work was done asking questions and she said one moment sir, I'll be with you in a moment. First space offered had a cable running diagonally thru it. I would be OK with a discount since quite a bit of square footage is lost due to the cable. I was told it would be full price (less the promotion they had going on) and that no other units that size available. I wasn't happy but I took it as i figured my stuff would likely fit. The following weekend (before moving in) I realized i needed a larger unit. i asked to be moved to another , larger unit before i started to move in. I was told ok but that the promotion could not be apply to the new unit even though i would be paying a higher rate for the larger unit. She suggested a Public Storage near by if i wanted to go there instead. I persisted, after several calls to mgmt they begrudgingly gave me the promotion rate on the new unit (again, i never used the first one) I was literally told to go to a competitor while I'm trying to UPGRADE ? Now, it only been 5 months and I got an increase letter in the mail. no thank you

Downsizing from a different company. Seth was very personable and helpful. I had a lot of questions coming from another storage company as I want to avoid the reason I moved from there after many years. This facility is a great choice for whoever is nearby this location. However, I had an incident when someone from the facilty staff approached to me one day in a very lack of professionalism neither respect rushing the gate almost shouting at me stating I was staying overnight at the premises supposedly because "some other renters noticed I was suspiciously staying late?" and not because they (cubesmart staff) witnesses themselves with proofs. I guess people don't mind their own business but anyway, my understanding is that you only have access to the facility until certain time or schedule but it does not say when to leave. I don't mind respecting a schedule if that is the case as long as it is addressed in a respectful manner. Rudeness is not the best way for me or anybody to get results. For this case I will consider next time letting go my rent of 9 bays and go somewhere with better customer service.

I had such a negative experience at the 2512 N Federal location (not this location) that I felt so fortunate and blessed to have discovered this alternate location. Karen and Collin made me feel like a welcomed and valuable customer. Renting my unit was quick and easy and I will be recommending them to all of my friends. But this location only for The Delray and Boynton Beach areas. Do yourself a favor and Keep Away from the 2512 N Federal location unless you want to be made to feel like a burden by their manager who accused me of being homeless and told me to leave his property. Seriously?? So in closing Military Trail Good!! N Federal Bad!!

I called to inquire about a storage unit,I spoke with Karen she was polite answered all of my questions I went there later the same day and rented a unit from Karen she was quick and had me out the door in 5 minutes . Every time we go there is never any carts we have to look high and low for one and when you find one it looks broken down and makes noise I pay a lot to use this place and you would think that there is more carts and then I went to the office and the girl said look across the way this is not right and then she said that it was every busy there was no one there. Though we ended up not using this facility as the size needed wasn't available, the customer service was great. The young man we spoke with was helpful with providing a size and options even inquiring on our items to see how they could be stacked. He then checked the other location to see if they had something that would work for us! Impressive.

I had the worst experienced ever at 0719 Cubesmart Fl Delray Beach Military Trail 14216 Military Trl Delray Beach Florida 33484 Paid $72.82 cash for the first month the guy in charge did not even say his name because he is a thieve make me purchase a short piece of chain, so I could return with my stuff and the cube was kept empty for a month because it was very difficult for me to get the chain I returned exactly the due date for the next payment and wanted for me to pay late charges and for a new lock and other charges etc, so I walked away from the rental and lost the $72.82 dollars for nothing, they are a bunch of vulgar thieves, I will never rent in this company again ever, I got an honest and better deal at The A/C Storage Place.............

Moe Alam was extremely kind and professional and helped me find the right size storage units to fit my needs. The units are clean, competitively priced, the property is well maintained and there are many different 'cube' options to choose from. Moe and his team made a difficult move easier -before and after my things arrived.

Damon McLaughlin, was very patient and helpful with making our choice, for the right size unit. I like that this location, offers the option to use their box truck for moving, if needed. Very convenient.

Quick and easy rental, very helpful staff. Renting the truck for 4 hours for $10 for the first use of the truck was great. They have air condition units as well.

Karen should be applauded for a great job running this office. She is knowledgable, friendly and made it so easy to secure the right size storage unit. I am glad I chose this Cubesmart.

Was given a price of a unit and when got there they I formed me of the insurance cost as well.i all ready had a bigger unit there and flew in to downsize. Price on phone told was half well worth the Hassel of the downsize when arrived I was told that was the price minus the insurance. So not only did I pay for a flight but the savings over a year would not even cover cost of the move..the manger was great but as far as the fees his hands were tied.

Karen Frances, Damon McLaughlin and Moe Alam of 14216 S. Military Trail have all assisted me separately at different times since obtaining a unit here with Karen Francis couple months ago. Each one has been very thourough explaining the lease and the storage polices. Giving me the best options for my needs. Today I switched my unit to a smaller one they both worked well as team players Today Karen assisted me first at front desk informing me about options next Damon as he took me took me around he asked me the right questions to fill my needs we closed the unit and set up my new lease. If I hear of someone in need of storage I would highly recommend 14216 s miitary trail for their needs. The customer service was very personal and humbled me with all their consideration for my needs and the customers who came into office for example an elder lady who was having a hard time with her lock because of her lack of strength. Karen and Damon communicated immediately to ease her mind and came to a quick solution. .. putting some lube on. Again, both work well together for the common goal of cubesmart in a professional and timely manner.

Karen Francis, employee at Cubesmart helped me find the best storage space for my needs and timeframe upon relocating to Delrsy Beach. She remembered our previous phone conversations prior to even meeting me. She was very quick and through in signnng me up for the rental space which helped streamline the entire process.

I just started keeping my things here, short notice and the weather made it difficult to keep my moving date. Damon McLaughlin, the manager, was the only one who made my move smooth. He helped find the right unit for me, wanted to get me the best bang for my buck. He was so helpful with my lock, truck rentals, and just making sure I was taken care of with such little time to spare. Very personable and wants to make cubesmart work for you. Damon doesn’t get paid enough! He keeps the business around.

This is nothing new for this location, my father had personal and professional belongings for many many years stored at this CubeSmart and we never had even a single bad experience. When I decided to rent a storage unit I did not hesitate to check this location first, and I am glad I did. Thank you all very much.

Great and fast service, Damon was very accommodating and got me ready to drop stuff in 10 minutes, the facility looks nice, tidy and clean. The website doesn't say anything about the mandatory insurance you have to pay so ask about it.

Well run, okay prices.

Damon and Moe run a great location on Military Trl north of Atlantic. Uts next to the Delray Beach , main Post Office. I came in two weeks ago after seeing a promotion on the Internet. I was able to talk to them, check out availability and easily make my online reservation with comfort and confidence of a well run, clean secure location and overall operation. They are very customer driven and respect their customers. I am traveling and nerded a garage for some personal items for an extended period of time. With the online payment I do not have to worry about getting my storage bill paid timely. Cube Smart at this location is a safe , clean and overall well managed facility.

I FOUND THE FACILITY WELL MAINTANED, SUPURB AND KNOWLEDGABLE STAFF (DAMON MCLAUGHLIN) IN PARTICULAR AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY TO ANYONE.

I went for a price check for my mom, and I ended up getting the unit on the spot. Damon was the guy helping me out. He listens to my need, and he was able to suit me to the perfect unit. The facility is super clean, comparing to some others. Overall 5 stars and I will certainly refer people. keep up with the wonderful customer service
