I had a great experience earlier today at CubeSmart Pembroke Pines. Walked in, greeted by Britney and she was happy to walk me to see the outdoor parking spaces at the far side of the facility. Monthly price was same as advertised. Facility was clean and organized. Fortunately, they had one space available. Contract process was a breeze, Britney went over the insurance options and I was out the door within 30 minutes. Thank you Britney!

They raised the price significantly. The storage areas are extremely hot even when it's cold outside. The air filters in the hallways are always filthy in the ac units. They employees are very nice but NOTHING GETS FIXED

Realized that carts are not readily available. You have to wait for the office to open and then leave a DL. This is very inconvenient as I normally go early to move items and the office is closed. The other CubeSmart I had storage at always had carts available anytime the units open early in the AM and late at night.

Like the size of storage and the promotion where I can get one month free which was perfect since I only needed the storage for a month. My biggest draw back is roaches. Found a few roaches in my belongings and that can be the blaze to other people’s storage units and they bringing roaches from their house. But I would say this place needs pest control. Other than that it’s okay it’s kinda hot in there too but it’s not the worst

There's a few things I like with CubeSmart that other companies couldn't compete with, although the competitor's promotions were better. I'm so pleased with the space provided for my truck bc it's 30 feet long and the competition was only 25 feet long. I like the fact that CubeSmart gives gate access until 10pm and the competitor 9pm; CubeSmart also offers the option to have 24-hour gate access for an additional $15 monthly. Those are the factors that affected my decision to move forward with CubeSmart. In addition, the staff is extremely nice, patient, and understanding.

Nothing to say about the place, my complaint is about the girl at the reception, first she told me that she did not speak Spanish, then she told me that the time I had to use the space I rented was until 7 at night, I told her OK, I would look for my husband so that he could also see the place and when he returned again he was speaking Spanish with other people and he told my husband that the hours were until 10 at night and I complained that he had told me until 7 and told me it was a lie, I definitely get very disappointed in people sometimes.

The place is OK, but there are consistent rate increases and my unit had a lot of dead leaves and dirt inside, not to mention four rat skeletons. My things were in there for a long time. But, what I really didn't appreciate was the manager sending an in company email about something I just happened to share because maybe she was upset that I was leaving the storage facility for another Cubesmart. I never said that she should share that information, it was just a comment I thought I said in confidence.

I went in to get a storage unit for my elderly patient and I couldn’t help but notice how clean the facility was kept. I’ve recently toured other storage companies and I have always noticed pest in the hallways which is always a red flag when deciding if we should rent their unit. When we toured this location in Pembroke Pines, I fell in love. Super clean and very organized! It definitely stood out amongst the others who didn’t get my business! Elevator kind of old with no ventilation. Lady at front desk very nice and helpful. Wheeled dolly not available after hours so bring your own to move your stuff. Facility clean. Air conditioner works well by front storage rooms not so cool in the back. I would use them again for storage.

I don't appreciate them raising my storage fee after I decided to put my account on account on auto pay. They claim they do a review every so many months & this is what happens but when I signed up with them no one never explained that to me nor can I find or have any paperwork that says that or I would have never choose them. It's like they hold your things hostage because they know that you do not want to go through the hassle of moving your stuff again. I've also read other reviews to that says the same thing about them raising your rates etc. If I had to do it all over again I would avoid Cube Smart like the plague because for as much as you pay there's no convenience for the customer here at all. I'm just over it at this point & as soon as I'm able to move my things I'm out! I can't wait until the day I can get my things out of this storage facility...

Everything went well and staff was nice. Only issue I had was with the fact that they force you to have insurance. You should have the option of not getting nay insurance. It's your things that you are storing; you should be able to be ok with losing them.

No one ever answers the phones, they actually will pick up and hang up the phone or pick up and you hear them dialing to send to voicemail just to avoid speaking with customers. Never any carts, you basically have to walk to the front which is locked during store hours to have to walk back and go in and out of each sliding door area to find one. Google and the general site states you are allowed 10 days grace period, $15 late fee, you are only allowed 5 days and it’s a $30 fee for the month on the 6th. They also raise the prices without telling you, supposedly a agreement is sent (which never was), you would think that a call would be given in regards to a rate change. A little frustrated my Storage is locked the day I am to began moving, totally slipped my mind as my I have had the storage almost a year. So to the simple fact I have to pay over $200 to just open it to move my stuff when I have been with them year... let’s just say I’ll use any other company before coming back or recommend. Yes I understand it’s a business, but there should be some loyalty to remaining customers and some type of accommodation for such circumstances.

I have not had any good experiences with this business. When I moved in there were no carts for weeks, I had to take everything up the stairs by myself (management was aware). My bill has increased in the past few months, without warning and no one can provide an explanation, they basically advised me to put up with it. The gate has many issues, on more than one occasion the gate would not open when I tried to exit. Normally you have to get excessively close which is unsafe in my opinion, and a potential fire hazard. On one occasion I kept getting closer and could not exit so I got out and walked outside to put the code in, and the gate damaged my car bumper very badly. Of course no one would take responsibility for this. Would not recommend unless your desperate and/or have no other options.

Facility seems rather new, our storage rent randomly went up by $20 without notice :/ not happy about that. The bathroom desperately needs attention, it smells like a homeless person in there. Also, it would be nice to have access to the bathroom on the floor of my storage instead of having to venture back down the first floor.

I've rented with Cube smart before. First time at this location. When I first arrived the staff was polite and helpful. After my first payment due, it slipped by me the due date, the staff called for the payment reminder and it was great. I had a personal family matter and ended up having to go out of town and it completely slipped my mind the payment, so as due I paid with the late fee. After a week of my paying I visit my storage to collect items needed and long behold my storage has the over lock. When I was finally able to talk to the staff about the incident they tell me there's nothing they can do about it. Then after the General manager claimed the lock was removed the day after my payment but that was not true either. I had this previously happened, at the other cubessmart location, and the general manager gave me a credit to my account for the inconvenience, was very attentive and even offered me a coffee prior to adjusting my account. That is customer service. But this location I am very dissatisfied with. Overall in customer service and keeping a customer happy is not there forte and have allot to learn. Maybe a week training at the cubesmart in Aventura will do them good to learn customer service.

On my first day moving in a 15 ft truck rental load of furniture and numerous boxes, there were NO CARTS in sight and I checked both floors from front to back. It took hours to move in, what would have taken an hour move in. I complained the next day and was told the issue has been brought up to corporate. A week later I go to move some last items and still no carts. I also noticed when I went to move my stuff in the front gate was wide open the whole time I was there and when I left around 8-9pm.. I'm giving this location more time to resolve the issue and if nothing is done, I will search for another storage facility and move out!.. I'm paying for storage and convenience, not headaches and stress!!... I must say the customer service I got, I give 5 ??'S I was givin a storage on the 2nd floor and as I was walking around checking the facility, I noticed an empty storage same size I requested and ask if I can have that one instead because I was given one on 2nd floor in the middle and was told it's reserved. So I'm wondering how this works because I reserved a room a month ago and was there but was given the upper on 2nd floor and make it worst no carts!... If I was givin the one I requested, don't think I would've been bothered as much about the carts!!

Was treated very professional. I have been badly abused by Public Storage with the nasty attitude of the General Manager that fixes nothing and talks to people like they are dirt- even their employees. I am a returning customer even though you are not close to where I live like the other place. I would rather drive here than give them one more dollar. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and accomodating. Facility is clean! Access is easy and access hours are flexible. I have one of the larger under a/c units and on a previous occasion I rented a small under a/c unit. While I have no experience with other brands to compare it to, I don't feel the need.

Shurtruel and Christopher helped my move go smoothly . I'm moving out of state and waited to the very last minute to book my storage unit . The process was less then 10min Shurtruel took her time to make sure I understood everything. Highly recommend cubesmart self storage they will respect your time and you won't find better customer service !!

This is my first time ever having to rent a storage unit and was very confused about the entire process. I came in two days prior to my actual renting and asked to see the sizes of the units Chris the manager was very very helpful and took the time to show me both size units. After making my reservation to hold the unit I realized that I could possibly take the smaller one. Once again Chris was very helpful in making sure that I saw the small one again and helping me with deciding whether or not that size would be perfect for me. He thoroughly explained the lease process the rental and even help set up the automatic bill pay. I am so thankful for all of his help during this process and he definitely made a stressful process A LOT easier.

I have been using this CubeSmart for years. I have more than one unit. I feel safe about leaving my things here. I also feel safe using the facility when no one is around. Shurtruel and Chris both help in keeping me aware of due dates which is helpful to me since I'm so forgetful. Both have been gracious in giving me a helping hand when I was alone and needed it. Both are always happy to see me and make me feel welcome. Shurtruel has taken the time to give me hints on storing items. They are willing to go above and beyond when helping their customers.
