Lisa was absolutely amazing! She was very accommodating to myself and my husband. We really needed to use the truck to move our stuff out ASAP into our storage unit and she was just a blessing! Lisa deserves a raise for sure! Highly recommend this storage business. She was an absolute angel and we are extremely grateful for her. The process of getting the storage unit was fast and efficient using the online portal. The storage facility is clean and organized. If I could rate 10 stars I would.

Don't like the fact how management assumed we were hanging out at the storage we rented. We weren't hanging out, we were resting after unloading a truck full of stuff. It was unprofessional of her. Her tone in her voice was not welcoming. It felt more of an attack.

I wasn't here long but Lisa is amazing. I hope I get the same treatment back home. My last CubeSmart didn't even have working lights or a security camera system. Lisa needs to go to a district manager position ASAP. She needs to be promoted immediately. Thank you Lisa for everything you did while I was out here. The service itself is reasonable and the insurance plans they offer aren't outrageous as long as you aren't storing anything beyond the limit, with the 35% off monthly storage and the insurance my monthly payment is a little over $50.

We're not told a head of time we had to pay extra every month for insurance. Was broken into after only being there three weeks. Got a call that all the paperwork was not finished and had to come in again. Doesn't seem secure.

It's a storage place. They make you buy one of their locks which is pretty silly. And they should really mention the mandatory insurance you have to purchase online. The prices aren't really what is listed.

I rented a space September 18, 2020. Lisa was very helpful in answering all my questions and conducted herself very professionally. It was very busy at the time of my rental with three different people needing help but she multi tasked the situation wonderfully and took care of everyone with a smile! it is refreshing to see this kind of service!

Don't use this facility. They gave us a rate of $170/mo with assurances that rates wouldn't go up. After 6 months they increased the rates to $199/mo. That's an increase of 17% in half a year. I don't actually care that much about $29/mo. I just don't like being lied to. When I initially signed up I noticed another reviewer had posted the same experience. This appears to be common practice for them. Why do they have such a high rating then? Because they tell their customers that they're having a company competition for the highest rating and ask them to give 5 star reviews. In fact, that was my initial review until they played their little game. There are plenty of other storage facilities. Find one that doesn't play games with their rates.

This is my first storage unit ever and I can’t be happy enough on how great the staff is. I forgot to lock my unit properly and same day right after I left not knowing. Lisa was great to let me know right away! I was so appreciative of that. Always nice to wave a hello to A staff member who is driving down the aisles to make sure everything is good.

This property is very well-maintained and looked after; I always see Lisa outside sweeping and making sure that everything is spic and span. I came into this location to compare storage options and gather prices for my mother, who’s planning on moving and needed a unit. The employee that assisted me Blake S, was an absolute delight!! I haven’t experienced that great of customer service in such a long time... Blake was Very Polite, charismatic, attentive and Understanding of my mom’s situation. The office was also well maintained and clean! Although the pricing was a little high, I would definitely consider going with CubeSmart due to this interaction!

In short, i may not live anywhere near these storage units, but I would not hesitate to use this location a third time. Thank you for all you do!

The rate was reasonable for the NE heights, and ease of renting and check in was a plus. Going forward, let's see what additional fees shake out, or not. *Update* still very convenient to get to, and the rate went up a month after we signed on (to $116/mo for 5x15). All in all, it accomplished the purpose of accessible,short term storage.

The facility was always clean, and the staff we interacted with were excellent -- helpful, competent, and very responsive. We also rented a Penske truck from this location, and were able to pick it up right at our storage locker. Tanya's assistance made what is usually a somewhat irritating rental experience a very pleasant one. We would highly recommend the Montgomery CubeSmart to anyone needing a storage facility.

Chose cubesmart to pick up a Penske truck and Tanya helped us with everything. She made sure the damage on the truck was written down so when I get to my destination they didn't think it was my fault. She was so wonderful and helpful making sure I knew of all the insurance policies. Tanya was really nice and wished us luck on our trip and I couldn't ask for better service.

Tanya and Lisa made moving so smoothe for us. Although no one really enjoys moving or having to rent trucks, these ladies went above and beyond to make sure that we were satisfied with the truck and that we had what we needed for the move.

This place is the best of the best. The staff is amazing and so accommodating. I stored my Harley there for almost 2 years and only moved it because I moved out of the area. Store your stuff here for sure!!

CubeSmart is an excellent place to store your items. I had some items that were taking up space in the garage so I rented one of the smaller units at the CubeSmart on Montgomery. The units are very clean, property is free from trash, gate always works (unlike another storage place I used) the property is brightly lit at night and the manager Lisa is amazing. She’s very friendly and was very patient and helpful with me while I was looking at the various units, providing suggestions on which size unit would’ve most appropriate. If you’re in need of a storage unit I highly recommend CubeSmart!!

Friendly staff helped me with a truck rental. This is my second time renting a truck from this location. Trucks are always clean and ready to go when promised.

Rented a unit this month. No issues as it stands. Reserved online which saved me 10%. Required to purchase insurance even though I have renters insurance. I forgot her name but she was efficient and even offered me cold water. Will recommend.

If I could give zero stars I would. This location was broken into last night and My unit was one of the ones that was hit. Clearly this place isn’t as “safe and secure” and they make it out to be. On my unit they didn’t even have to break my lock to get in. They simply pried open the side of the door with some sort of tool. Not very safe in my opinion if someone can get in to a unit without breaking a lock. On top of that, when I went to “move out” because I refuse to keep my belongings where they’re not safe, Lisa, the manager was very crass. The level of customer service I received here was baffling. I wouldn’t even call it customer service to be honest. You shouldn’t treat your customers rude when they move out because your facility isn’t as safe as it claims to be. Would not suggest this storage company to my worst enemy.

Joe was great! Moving is stressful and he made sure I had no stress when renting a moving truck. He was kind and even lent me a hand truck when Penske didn’t put the one I ordered in the truck.

Make sure they don't charge you for the whole month if you are moving out in a week. They do not refund for unused days.

Excellent service and friendly management. Very convienant location. The only disappointment was no partial (20 days) refunds for the move out month. Maybe I should get my money back if you re-rent my unit, D54. Doesn't seem fair you you to double dip at my expense. Cubesmart management contacted me and approved a refund!! Great service minded organization. Highly recommend CubeSmart for storage needs.

Update- not 48hrs after I posted this review, I was contacted by the Senior Manager for the New Mexico CubeSmart branches. Not only was she apologetic about my negative customer service experience, she was willing to do anything that she was able to resolve my grievance. Between the prompt response and the obvious concern that she had for my customer service experience, I have completely changed my opinion of Cube Smart as a company. I wish all corporations were as concerned about their customer service as Cube Smart seems to be. I now understand that my negative experience was due to the particular employee that I dealt with, not Cube Smart as a whole. Thank you Cube Smart for being so prompt and willing to address my concerns in order to keep me as a customer. Bravo Use anywhere but Cube Smart. I recently had a family emergency and as a result of this I was not able to pay my bill for 1 month. 30 days. Not only was I charged 2 separate late fees during that 30 days, when I reached day 31 I was charged $110 more as an "auction preperation fee" The gentleman who called to inform me of the litany of fees I was being charged was not willing to even discuss working with me. This is what I get for going through a big chain company and just assuming I would be dealt with decently. I have had a few different storage units over the years at a few different places and I have never been treated more like I didn't matter. I'm just another idiot who they can take advantage of.
