Tim Hayes is absolutely amazing! He has assisted me in finding the right size unit, been very helpful and has given great advice! Moving and storing your belongings is stressful, but his assistance is reassuring!

I was turned off by a couple of local self-storage places. From closing for lunch while the employees took breaks together in the locked office while customers waited outside the door--or left to look elsewhere--to many hidden fees, to being called repeatedly for weeks to see if I would be renting, I started wondering if this was normal and I'd have to take whatever I could get. I decided to try again and found a couple of places were closed on a Saturday morning. But then thankfully found Bee Safe Storage. I was immediately welcomed by a warm lady who stayed focused on my needs and didn't come across like a used car salesperson. The office, grounds, and the units she showed me were pristinely clean. She told me all of the fees right up front and didn't try to upsell me, not once. Then she did something else the other places did not--she offered to hold the unit with no fee for 15 days until I was actually ready to move things in. Instead, I signed up and prepaid in advance to guarantee a rate. Great experience. I highly recommend you not waste time getting frustrated at other places. Just go straight to Bee Safe Storage.

This is a nice storage facility that is climate controlled and kept clean however beware of huge price increases. Our unit tripled in cost in 3 years. UPDATE IN REGARDS TO THEIR RESPONSE..... I know our monthly rate was not guaranteed for the life of our rental but the jump in price was not just $10 or $20 more a month. It price increase over the last 3 years literally TRIPLED! And my husband did speak with the office only to be told that this is the price. We have moved out of the unit and are storing elsewhere.

This place was nice and clean, however they raised my rates multiple times (twice within 6 months) to where in the end I was paying almost $100 more a month than when I started. I found them unreliable in this way and moved to another company.

Everything was so nice and clean. They made it so easy to lease a unit. The staff was very helpful. I will recommend to everyone that I know in need of storage.

Generally didn’t feel welcomed by both staff members. Found trash in front of my unit a couple times, was told by manager that it blew in from the street, even though the property sits high above the nearest street. Staff took cues from customers on how to police my presence, which seemed racially motivated. Unit price shot up $35 in ONE MONTH. *Follow-up…I sent my info as requested, the upper Management never responded to me. GUILTY as charged.

I am very happy with bee safe. My father passed in May 2021, and we stored his stuff in my sisters garage for the meantime, her boyfriend was selling items and got caught. I had to pack up almost everything and it was a Sunday at 9am, where do I go!? I called Bee Safe, and I was able to do everything over the phone, do everything by email, in less than 20 minutes, I had my door code, temp lock code, I couldn't have been any happier. I was in such a bad mood over the items being stolen and sold, but Bee Safe made my day 100% better. I will be moving more stuff in here, I just have to rent a trailer. The units are indoors, carts by the elevators, multiple entrances around building, and so convenient to where I live. Thank you so much Bee Safe!!!

The Bee Safe Storage facility is clean and easy to navigate. I was worried about having second-floor units but the elevators are adequate and having the dollies available every time I went was so nice. The facility and staff are are top notch. I was using this to store items between moves. If I ever need storage again I'll be looking for Bee Safe again.

UPDATE: Another excellent customer service experience! We are moving back to Bee Safe storage in Clemmons and we were welcomed back and greeted by name! …We left for a storage facility closer to home, but it was awful. After a few weeks at that other facility, we began noticing bugs, spiders, AND mouse droppings. Anything fabric that wasn’t in a sealed bin became nesting material for the mice. We never saw a bug or spider or any evidence of rodents at Bee Safe. And at Bee Safe, “Climate-controlled” really means climate-controlled. The unit at the other facility was always damp. ***We are glad to be back at Bee Safe!*** previous review below… My experience at this Bee Safe Storage location has been excellent. Both Tim and Leigh have promptly addressed and questions or concerns that I had when I first rented in April, 2021. Most recently, I decided to downsize my storage unit and Leigh was very helpful in finding and reserving the new unit. I also appreciate that the facility is very clean.

Prices too high, rent goes up without notifying customers. Clemmons location staff are very rude to Black people. Everything is a joke and Lee believes the pandemic is fake news and stated I needed to go work at a gas station or grocery store. Since I came out of work due to not wanting to put my new baby at risk. I couldn’t afford to pay the full amount this month and all I asked was my rent to be prorated, NOT free.

Rude manager. 3rd floor is too hot for climate control. We complained multiple times. When we moved out the manager tried to charge us anyway. I do not recommend this location. We had the Greensboro location before and it was great so it’s definitely the management that’s an issue.

The manager (Lee) was phenomenal. First time we’ve ever used a storage company so we were apprehensive. Lee put our minds at ease and navigated us through the process without hitch!

Wonderful storage facility. We had our whole house contents in storage for over a year while our house was being built. I always felt safe and always felt like our stuff was safe at this facility. I would whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone needing storage. They have an easy to navigate website to set up auto-pay as well as a quick and painless sign up process to get started with a lease. They have cameras all around the inside and outside of the building as extra added security.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. And huge shout out to Angie and Amber at the Clemmons location. I live in Clemmons but work about an hour out of town. I found myself in an emergency situation where I needed an immediate space to store something but could not take off of work or leave early. These two ladies stayed late for me on a Friday afternoon to make sure I was taken care of. Great service. Awesome folks. 100% would recommend this place to anyone in need of a little extra space.

We recently rented a storage unit to place some personal belongings while we sell our home. We chose Bee Safe in Clemmons as it is convenient to our home. Two years ago we rented a storage unit from Public Storage on Country Club Road and the Bee Safe facility is a much nicer, cleaner facility. The lighting in the storage units is very bright and access to the storage units is extremely convenient. Angie in the front office was very helpful and pleasant when I arrived to fill out the paperwork. One of the nice things I discovered is when you first rent a unit you can rent their moving truck for $10 for 1/2 day which is a big money saver if you are thinking of renting a van/truck as we were. All-in-all we are very pleased with our decision to rent a storage unit from Bee Safe. Paul C. Cronin

My husband and I stopped in to rent a storage unit here. Angie was very personable and professional . She answered all of our questions and was great to work with! I feel very secure storing items at this facility. The cameras are very good and there are a lot of them around the building.

I called for PRICING that was all...gave my first and last name and a call back number "in case we get disconnected" (their reason for my phone number). Two hours after said phone call, my HUSBAND gets a call from this storage unit and doesn't leave a VM so we ignore it. Today, he gets an email confirming our "reservation" and move in date and the total amount owed. WE LITERALLY CALLED FOR PRICING AND MADE NO RESERVATION OR COMMITMENT TO THIS! After speaking to them they claim they have no idea how this happened. Yall are on another level of some BS and need to get your horrible service under control. We will never use this storage unit or any of their sister units. Go ELSEWHERE!!

Management is very friendly, the facility is very clean and bright. Music playing over the speakers on all floors helps pass the time while moving in or out. I've used other storage facilities in the past. This one is the nicest we've used so far.
