This is one of a series of articles spotlighting our storage facilities and neighborhoods.
New York City: there’s nothing quite like it anywhere else in the world. With its bustling streets, famous businesses, entrepreneurs, fashionistas, athletes, artists, and entertainers, this isn’t your average city. Also known as the Big Apple, the City That Never Sleeps, and the Capital of the World, New York has continually lived up to its reputation. With a population of over 8.5 million and no plans on stopping anytime soon, this metropolis just seems to be getting bigger every day!
Take a tour of this location:
Located in Hells Kitchen, and right by Columbus Circle, our self-storage facility in Manhattan is the ideal place to store when downsizing, moving apartments or storing dorm items over the summer!
With over 3,500 cubes, our bi-lingual managers are there to ensure you get the unit best suited to your individual needs. In addition to offering 24-hour video recording, we sell locks, packing supplies, and dollies are on site to make transporting your belongings easier.
Sometimes moving in Manhattan can be a real pain, especially if you don’t have a car. But with our Storage Valet service, you can reserve our van to help bring you and your items to your storage unit for added convenience!
Local Customers are Saying:
“This is the absolute best customer service at any storage facility that I ever visited. Chris has an amazing personality and very customer service driven. I am beyond happy and cannot emphasize how great the staff is. In addition, the facility is brand new, with great pricing and promotions, and super clean. I’d not even think about going somewhere else. 110% satisfied.”
-Felix T.“The CubeSmart staff was very helpful. The facility is very clean and well-organized. A very easy and convenient way to store items rarely used, and free up space in apartment closets.”

Around Us
Where do we begin? Obviously, New York City is a hub for tourists, and has some of the best restaurants in the country! Focusing just around our neighborhood Hells Kitchen, which derives its name from the bad area it used to be, has shed its old reputation and is now an eclectic, energetic, and touristy neighborhood! On our block, there is Mamasita’s Bar and Grill, serving excellent Mexican food and happy hour drinks, and Georgio’s Country Grill, both great places to grab a quick bite after moving. If you want to try an awesome coffee shop, our store manager suggests heading down the block to FIKA, a local chain inspired by Swedish cuisine, with all fresh ingredients.
There is plenty to do around Hells Kitchen, whether you want to spend the day exploring the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, or take an obligatory elevator ride to the top of The Empire State Building, the opportunities for sightseeing are endless. There are plenty of off-Broadway shows to catch near us, as well as The Late Show with Steven Colbert just two blocks over!
