I like the location. I like the way the units are set up anf the special. .that you are running. The customer service need to be a little bit more respectful. The lady at the desk was very disrespectful.. yelling and screaming for no reason instead of explaining to me about the carts she was very rude. The people that help me move. Said I need to report her.But other then that had a pretty good experience in getting my unit.. It made it very easy.

This was the most dehumanizing treatment from a facility that I've ever experienced. I came to move my stuff and the lady working here wearing a sure thing uniform was the rudest person I've ever dealt with. She yelled, she slammed doors in my face, she locked the main door then came out running just to yell more. She's so unprofessional she locks the door during business hours then pops out and refuses to let anyone use the carts. I can't stress enough how rude and inappropriate this lady is, she asks for ID before using the carts and before you can reach in your pocket to get it she already is slamming the door in your face. She makes me feel so uncomfortable I don't even want to come back and bring more stuff.. it's THAT bad.

Hunter was super friendly and assisted us with courtesy and detail. He showed us around the property and explained everything to us. The facilities are clean, cool, and seemingly very secure. They have cameras everywhere and people are all explained they are not to tailgate and while there I didn't see anyone doing that so that made me feel good. They only allow folks with businesses to access the property 24/7 which is also really cool because I feel like that's the only folks who should be there coming and going at all hours (and they tend to be very serious about also keeping the property safe due to their own investments). Great price so far and we will see how it goes.

We rented a storage unit in October of 2022 and moved from Nc and stored our belongings there because it was climate controlled and had a large freight elevator . After a couple months in , the freight elevator was supposedly broken and they kept saying they were looking into fixing it , never happened . The biggest issue is the fact that this year in July we were moving into our new home and preparing to move our belongings and the office manager tells us the air conditioning is broken and has been for over two months , and of course they are “ looking into it” . No one ever notified us of this either . Even worse , we were promised that they would compensate us by returning our last month of $178 because we had to move out from the third floor in the extreme heat . Now they keep lying and saying they are waiting on accounting to mail the checks . Totally dishonest . DO NOT STORE YOUR BELONGINGS HERE .

For some reason my post disappeared. The rates go up all the time I and check this out a $34 late fee! $34! The way it set up my pay schedule I can't pay the first week I have to pay the middle of the month but rather than set a customer for success I'd rather rake in late fees. They say it's climate controlled but you will sweat your butt off if you're in here it might be cooler than the outside but not much I'm downstairs because my unit pretty much melted all my candles my work things for work everything melted and I decided to consolidate and move downstairs where it was not very much cooler at all. I do not recommend this storage facility unfortunately it's tough to move once you've got everything here but just be warned $34 is a hell of a steep late fee when you get paid in the middle of the month and there's not much you can do about it it's not teaching me a lesson except for how to tell people to stay away from this place. And forget your code Good luck getting a hold of anybody by phone there is no support here whatsoever and you will get locked out because you don't have just forget your code , their doors are down quite often I met up with someone at the door who was locked out after days just like me I couldn't get in for days. And let's not talk about the drug smell it's so strong when you go in you're worried that you get tested it at work you just might fail! I had to report it to the police and to the facilities numerous times He's not warning The good reviews in here are made up and my old one disappeared

Worst experience ever. Since Sure Thing took over they have shortened the access hours, rented parking spaces in front of our doors to oversized vehicles and trucks for that space that limits our access to our unit, the main garage door is broken now since one of these high profile vehicles damaged the main entrance and it opens only up to 10 ft 11” and it’s far from climate controlled. The a/c has been out for weeks.

I love this location Rod and Hunter are amazing!! They're always around, they are so helpful and knowledgeable. This life storage is under New Management the new name is Sure Thing storage. they're amazing everything inside on the wall like bubble wrap,tape boxes are currently 50% off (except the cylinder locks $20)ea. they're open 7 am until 9:00 p.m. Sure thing is very nice, clean & air conditioned units. Very affordable prices per unit. They have a really cool two-day notice to move out. I highly recommend

I have stored by items at Life Storage/Sure Thing! Storage for the past two years, no issues and great customer service. Wish the carts and bathrooms were still accessible like they used to be, but understand why they can't be. I had a question last week and emailed the staff, they called me back immediately to answer my question. Really a great experience overall! Will continue to store with them.

Opens at 9. No one is at the office and it’s 9:30. No one is answering the phone, and the voice mailbox is full. The code I was given doesn’t work. Same issue for the other 6 vehicles sitting in the parking lot waiting for someone to show up. The new management is pathetic!

My gf and I were running late to come in and make our payment, we got here right at 6, the sight said closed and our hearts sank.. but the manager saw us outside and came to the door and was kind enough to stay late so we could pay our unit before it went to auction. She was willing to stay even later to show us a larger unit we are interested in. I can’t remember what her name is, but I’ll come back and edit this after we come back tomorrow! Been at my location for about a year and a half. At the beginning of this month I decided to move into a larger unit, but thanks to time restrictions I didn't finalize the move out of the smaller unit until I was overdue. But the great employees here managed to get me moved out without late fees or the entire month and paid less than $30 to do it. I felt very satisfied and that they had really stepped up to finalize my move without an issue. Thank you team at Metro parkway, Phoenix AZ location!

I must say that this is the first time I have truly wanted to share my experiences about a business. And Most importantly the employees that work there. From day one Sherry has been such a sweetheart. She is very professional and her smile is contagious. I have been going through a rough time in my life and Sherry is always there to listen to my problems like I'm the only person in the world and she has no other customers nor anything else to do which is not the case. Each and every time that I go to my storage I always see her working away, whether it be sweeping outside or talking with another customer about whatever questions they may have. She has even gone so far as to charge my phone for me whenever it's been low, I am definitely one of her and Matt's more high maintenance customers LOL. I loose my code on a regular basis and seem to always pick the time when I go to the storage to have to go to the restroom. They are always so professional and kind to me. Sherry even showed me a easier way to remember my code took my phone and took a picture of the code for me. Matt as well shows such ownership in the company, One day he came back to my unit and told me if there was ever a time that I had things that were too heavy for me to carry to please come to him or Sherry and they would be happy to help me. And I could tell that he truly meant it. I love to watch the two of them interact with one another. They really seem to work well together and it shows that they enjoy their job. I love hearing about Matt's animals he's more than happy to share pictures like they're his kids I think they are his kids actually. Please don't know his wife and son I believe he has a son. I've even told my family that the employees at Life storage and I are on a first name basis. Sherry and Matt are truly an asset to Life storage. Other companies should be so fortunate to have such great employees as Matt and Sherry are. I am paying $109 a month for a 5 by 10, and it is Monday at 11 AM. No holiday. Not only are they locked, but there are no carts available. They have a sign saying we're on property. Text us, and we'll hurry back, so I text them. No, they did not hurry back. I had to with bad hurt hand and a 6 months old. I have to carry all my stuff by myself one by one.

Where do I begin... Homeless people inside the building at night..and hanging outside the doors waiting for an opportunity to get inside... I'm always afraid my unit will be broken into and I will hold this facility totally responsible. Garbage... Dirty conditions.. Staff with attitudes.. It makes me angry when I come here. I have told staff about the door that does not latch all the way closed for several months and they just shrug it off. Is this what a secure facility is supposed to look like? You need security at this location! I rent a unit from Life Storage in Scottsdale (great location) and this facility is unacceptable.

It a nice place. Unfortunately, there is a small space on both entrances that homeless people have used to urinate and leave trash. When I brought it to the staff’s attention, the guy said “we would have to clean it every day to keep it clean”. I guess that’s too much of a bother. That’s the only down side.

Sherry was very professional. We needed to have our lock popped and a new one out in. She was very helpful. Even my little pup was very pleased. This storage is the best I've had. Great prices and great people.

Danielle was great to work with. We were able to tour units without feeling pressured. This places has the wide roll up doors plenty of elevators and ample space to bring stuff in on every floor. And is guarded my metro security and plenty of cameras.

We went in to rent a unit and Tausha worked with us and was able to find a couple of units in our price range. I was limping since the cold weather was affecting my hip and having a hard time walking, she found a unit that was perfect in size and close to the entrance. They are awesome at this location. Tausha has gone out of her way to help me. I live in another state and was only in town for a few days but needed to condense and reorganize. She has made it so much easier. I wish I could give more stars. I also love the options of units in the basement level. To be able to drive in and still not be stuck in the heat has been a life saver.

Out of all the storage facilities I have used, this is one of the best. Danielle was very friendly and knowledgeable. She made the process of renting a new unit very easy. They also have a nice range of unit sizes. I was able to go from renting 2 storage units down to 1 without having to get rid of a lot of my stuff. I would recommend them to anyone.

Definitely 1 STAR. Saw this employee yelling at some young couple trying to feel 3 homeless 3 months old kittens that live inside the storages dock doors and I gotta say what were they doing so wrong that she had to stop her job to yell about how no one cares for cats and they need to leave when I heard this I could not believe I heard that right so I had to go check it out my self and they young couple felt really disrespected that the employee didn’t even great them nicely over feeding homeless BABY KITTENS and then they said they will take there business else where next time they go in to pay their storage unit bill. I would too. Imagine getting a storage at a new facility and then hear cats crying you can’t tell me your not gonna wonder what’s going on with them . Over all the old lady looking employee didn’t know she was disrespectful towards a customer and that’s costing you guys your business. Check your employees attitudes before they talk to their customers.

We have been storing our RV for 2 months there and at the end of our last month we took advantage of the 5 day grace period to move things in and get our home out. We ran into a bit of an issue because they didnt specify correctly in the contract that after the 4th day you either need to make a payment or move your things out. We have been trying to reach corporate since the manager at this store has decided to not be helpful what so ever with the misunderstanding and won't even let us get our property out of there unless we make a partial payment. It's been 3 days now waiting for a supervisor or higher up management to call. We just want our home out of there!!!!!

I have no issue with the storage itself but I do have an issue with the bait and switch of the “free” truck rental. Sure it’s free if you don’t count the $30 non-refundable reservation fee. And then you pay 89 cents a mile. At Home Depot it’s $30 for a full day and 38 cents a mile. The free truck rental is blatant sales manipulation of fees and borders on false advertising.

I had a great experience with Life Storage. Customer service agent(Sharrell )was very helpful in getting me set up with a storage unit. She gave me all the necessary info I needed to get started and discounts that were available for me. Kelly the assistant store manager also was helpful she with waiting for me at last minute to get storage. I was behind on time and she stayed over to make sure that I got the unit I needed and made sure that I was aware of how the process work. Very empathic and sincere. They gave a great deal on what I needed.

I had a short amount of time in which to find a storage place that was convenient, had the right size unit, and was affordable. Life Storage provided all of this. I was having to reserve this while I was rushing packing and loading my things and the online process made it easy. All I had to do was arrive, where I was met by the friendly manager who made sure I knew where I could park to unload, had me view my unit first to make sure it was indeed the size I needed, showed me how to input my code, then back up to his desk where I was able to sign and pay. They have good hours of accessibility and the facility is clean and well taken care of. Thank you Life Storage.

Very deceiving. I made a reservation online with a promotion that they had. *First month free*. But when I got there, the lady was very polite and helpful. But I was still charged for the first month. I’m not complaining that I had to pay. I’m just pointing out that, don’t put out a promotion online if you’re not going to honor it. Aside from that, the units are very well spread out, convenient and clean. I would recommend to friends and family, I wouldn’t tell them to believe their website after this. I’ve attached a photo of the promo. If it worked on everyone else, great.

This is hands down the worst experience experience I have ever had in renting a storage unitink a storage unit. I moved in and the next day when I go back to organize my unit they smell cigarette smoke which I had smoked an hour before and then they proceeded to advise me over it and keep my money so it's a scam. Do not rent any storage unit at this facility It's not only for that reason but because if you know anything about Phoenix then you know metro center is a very dangerou and their location is right by the transit center or people catch the busses and there are help
