This has taken me a bit to write this. I was at a loss for words. How do you put in to words to convey how one single employee had a hand in saving your life?; Travis. I rolled up looking for drive up storage for my personal belongings that had been thrown everywhere leaving a DV situation. I looked at a couple places but cubesmart was it for me. You know sometimes you meet someone and just with their calmness and professionalism...you just know now everything is going to be ok. I didn't say much as he explained how it worked, hours of operation and gate codes. Showed me the unit and even though it was clean offered to sweep it for me right there. I mean Travis was born with a servants heart and even after he still asks if I need anything and if the unit is good. His work was not done after I moved in the unit. He is always busy around the property but engages with every customer past and future he comes across. The biggest thing I noticed is within 5 minutes of being there how he talked about how much he loved his job there and RAVED about his boss or manager. He said she is so wonderful it makes it easy. You don't hear that at all no a days. I didn't catch her name. But it is clear she knows what she is doing. When you treat your people right they work hard for you. Travis....is a direct result of her work and what ever cubesmart puts in their water here. They are that nice. When you get people in customer service who just love people...they are a beacon of light. One small act of kindness or words can change someone's life. Travis gave me hope again just by being a superb human being. They don't make them like him anymore and I thank you cubesmart. This guy is the face of your company and you hit the mark with this one . One last thing. He also off hours kindly relocated a rattlesnake right at the entrance and at ten o'clock at night caught a scorpion the size of a man's shoe. He also did it with a sense of humor like it's part of his day job. Travis and cubesmart ...thank you. I was the lucky one last week lost and scared. To you this is not just a job. You embody customer service like no other. From this veteran I thank and salute you. I wish everyone had a Travis in their back pocket.

At first, my experience with CubeSmart was very smooth. The price was reasonable and the service was easy to set up. I have paid my bill on time every month with no issue and have had no issues accessing my unit. This month, I received a notice informing me that my bill is going up $50. No explanation was given for why. I proceeded to check the rental agreement I signed and apparently CubeSmart has the right to change the agreement whenever they want as long as they give me 30 days notice. I concede that I signed the agreement and should have caught that provision buried in 9 pages of legalese, but I take issue with the fact that no one at CubeSmart explained this possibility to me when I first signed up for my unit. I find it to be highly dishonest to omit the fact that CubeSmart can change the terms of the agreement and charge whatever price they want, whenever they want, as long as they give me 30 days notice. What a coincidence that they wait to inform me of this possibility until I face the inconvenience of having to move all my stuff out of the unit within 30 days if I find their price increase to be unacceptable. Expecting busy, normal people to go through these agreements with a fine tooth comb to catch this on the jump is unrealistic and in bad faith. Do better CubeSmart.

Too early to tell how this will go, but CubeSmart sent me the review link the day after I moved my stuff in, so here goes: My biggest concern is the price increases. The call center told me one thing, and the location told me another. I'm bracing for impact. I'm not yet convinced that the entire industry doesn't operate on a bait-n-switch marketing strategy. Second, imagine the engineer of a storage facility who built in a passenger elevator instead of a freight elevator. That's what you have here. The 4-wheel dolly used for carrying your boxes and belongings doesn't even fit in the elevator. They have tiny ones there to use, but it makes move-in/out way harder than it needs to be.

I’m extremely disappointed in the lack of care and concern by the manager at this cubesmart. Two items were missing from our unit. I requested video footage and ironically the camera wasn’t visible near my storage unit or where we dropped off. My daughter $600 scooter was missing. The manager, Savannah, was dismissive, not helpful and didn’t do anything to help support us or investigate it. I know that they won’t do anything to make this right but we know our items were take . Very upsetting to think we secured our items for the summer to come back to some missing.

Stay away from this company!!!find another storage company not associated with Cube Smart. At this location dont count on the misleading deep drainage and think your belongings are safe from water. My short-term storage turned into 3 years. I paid my dues monthly, and upon moving out, I discovered that water had penetrated my unit and destroyed my furniture. Their solution was to credit me 2 days of storage fees, yet I paid them 3 years to store my property. I never expected it to be destroyed Stay away from this company

After renting a unit here for almost 2 years (and paying over two thousand dollars) I was very unsatisfied when moving out of the unit to find termites. Termites had destroyed some of my furniture. I contacted management multiple times and even had an incident case open, but no one ever returned my calls or emails. Do not rent a unit here unless you want poor management or termites destroying your furniture. UPDATE: After posting this review and the company saying to email them for help- I have received NOTHING. I have called multiple times asking for someone to help and have had 0 success. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM.

I moved out a week after paying for the month and was denied any refund. Back when it was Storage West, I was told not to worry as it would be pro-rated upon move out and only needed to give a couple days notice if possible. Rates were increased to amounts that didn't make sense. My belongings were always completely caked in 1/8" of dust and gravel was constantly blown into the unit through the gaps in the door assembly. Really was not a good experience even though I tried to stick it out. I had hoped the CubeSmart transition would have improved things but all that was done is a half paint job and an increase in rates.

Once I made my reservation someone called to introduce themselves. The online check was very smooth and self explanatory and upon getting to the location it was very clean and my unit was easy to find and was clean and ready to go with the welcome bag. I’ve been renting almost 6 months and havnt had any issues, I check on my belongings often. I am disappointed and a little upset that after a huge storm Scottsdale had 2 weeks ago I was never called or alerted that my unit may of had water intrusion which it did.

Rented a unit for about a year here and was very impressed and pleased with the experience. They don't try to "get" you on anything, closing out of the account when I was ready to leave was FAR easier than I imagined. Simply said that I was ready to move out, and they closed out my account.
