This is one of a series of stories we are sharing to show what’s inside CubeSmart. You not only get a peek inside our customer’s storage unit, but also a peek inside what is important to them. Thank you to Adam Haman, a customer of our CubeSmart store in Denver, CO, for sharing his story with us.
Adam Haman, a customer at our CubeSmart store in southeast Denver, CO, knows a thing or two about the value of home renovations. As a real estate agent and rental property manager in metro Denver, he has certainly seen the impact a renovation has on price. But it is his dual role as a husband and father that truly showed the importance of a sizeable, well-designed home.
“We decided to finish our basement because we’ve got three kids now and they need room to play in,” he says. “We took out everything we had down there and put it in our CubeSmart unit for the duration of the project.”
As a CubeSmart customer for nearly a year, Adam tells us that he initially chose that specific location for a number of reasons.
“It’s really convenient to our house, everything is brand new, and the staff is friendly,” he says. “We also used the free CubeSmart truck to move a bunch of stuff really quickly, which was a big help.”
Though Adam only visits the space once every two months or so, he rests easy knowing that their things are only three minutes from their house. As the renovation has gone on, CubeSmart’s flexible scheduling also proved to be important.
“Renewing month-to-month has been super special for us,” he says. “We’ve also been impressed by the nice, modern, and clean facilities available in a bunch of sizes at reasonable prices.”
While all of these features are important, when you ask Adam how self-storage has positively impacted his life, he doesn’t hesitate when he smiles and says, “It gave us the room we needed to create a space for the kids to run around in. Finishing the basement helped our kids, our marriage, and our sanity.”
