Do not store anything of value at this location! The security here is abysmal. I used to store my boat at Econo Storage, and all the speakers and audio equipment on it were stolen. Someone broke in and took over $11,000 worth of gear. The worst part? The facility has no security cameras except at the front gate. That’s it. No surveillance where it actually matters. Again — do not trust this place with anything valuable. You won’t realize how bad it is until it’s too late.

The on-site staff is cool, but my unit was broken into, and I later found that there are no cameras near it. I turned it into your claims department to no avail. I have since moved out because of the break-in and the steep rise in the rent at the beginning of the year. All I can assume is that upper management does not care about their customers because the property is up for sale. The new facility I moved to was surprised because Econo-storage did not try to make it right and keep me as a customer. Oh well.

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Econostorage of Martinez. Recently, my unit was vandalized, my tool bag was stolen, and to my shock, I discovered that they do not have video surveillance covering the area where my unit is located. This lack of security is completely unacceptable. On top of that, I pay extra every month for 24/7 access to my unit. However, on multiple occasions, including tonight, the access code provided by the facility has failed. This is especially frustrating as I work long hours and often drive long distances to store equipment and materials. After driving nearly 20 hours non-stop, I arrived at the facility at 9:45 PM to unload, only to find that my code didn’t work again. To make matters worse, they have no security guard on-site to assist, their phone number is unresponsive, and there’s no way to resolve these issues in real-time. The inability to access my unit when I’ve paid for 24/7 access is beyond inconvenient—it’s unprofessional and unacceptable. I strongly advise anyone considering this facility to be aware of the lack of security and unreliable access. These recurring issues have caused significant disruptions to my work, and I cannot recommend their services based on my experience.

I was looking for a storage unit and decided to check out Econo storage. To be honest this was more of a price check and environment check. I spoke with a lady at the desk (unfortunately I did not get her name) that was extremely helpful and had all of the answers for my many questions. She walked me outside to take a look at multiple units, while educating me on the neighborhood (all good things) and new security measures that have been put in place. I may have came for to check some prices, but the employee at the desk had talked me into leasing a unit right then and there. Econo storage you have a good one in there. Make sure you take care of her before someone else swoops her up.

Expensive, like 2x the price of many places nearby for a similarly sized unit, I was paying almost $300/month for a 8x20 container unit, previously had a unit at ExtraSpace a couple miles away that was a 10x25 for $150/month. Poor security. No climate controlled units. Water intrusion in my shipping container unit as well as permanent units nearby. It was right around the corner from where I used to live and the employees were friendly but those were the only things this place had going for it while I was a tenant.

My father had a storage unit here until he passed away in January 2022. I requested to move his belongings out of the storage unit during the first week in February. Not knowing how long it would take to move his items out , I paid the entire month in full. I was told that if I moved the belongings out before February 10th the rent would be prorated to the day the unit was cleared out. Everything was moved out by February 6th. I was told I would receive a refund. I called several times asking about the refund and I was told it will be sent out. I was told it would be for $225. I have never received anything back. I have called the 800 number to complain. I talked to a manager by the name of David and he reassured me I would be receiving the $225 by mail. I haven't received anything. I recently called again and a customer service representative told me a supervisor would call me back. I have received nothing by a run around from this company. My father died and that was hard enough to deal with. Now, this company won't refund money that I was told would be returned to me. Think twice before coming here. I will never do business here again. All I'm asking for is the refund owed to me.

I’m moving in slowly the next two weeks just because I’m now able to move myself and don’t need help based on how I can park and move my belongings all within steps from one another talk about one HAPPY customer!!!

Econo Storage is a nice place, a little Tight in some areas. Rosea and Lauren are simply spectacular friendly people to work with! The units are clean. We choose to leave due to cost which is the only reason why the 3 stars. “Econo” would normally stand for economical which would indicate a reasonable price. We shopped around and although I had to drive to Fairfield we found a brand new storage lot with a 10’x20’ for $105 dollars less per month. So this made the switch easy. I would have rather stayed at this storage location but price does matter. Thank you Dave G

Thought I'd found the best storage place. Great reviews and a 1/2 off for 3 months deal to boot. Reserved the space on a Sunday on line. My husband goes down on Monday to get the space and when I get home he tells me it was $522 to move in. I was floored. As you can see from my picture the reservation says $108. We rent and need foundation work done on the house we live in. We were informed on Monday they would begin work on Tuesday so with no time he began moving the things from the garage. When he went back to talk to the guy at the office about not getting the advertised rate he was told they never discount that size unit. SEE PICTURE. Today he was told if he didn't like the price he could move out at the end of November( He had to pay the prorate and next month to move in). Don't get me wrong, we like the unit just not the bait and switch. As of today the ad is still there.

recently had the to move our garage contents out to remodel. the decision of where was a dilemma. the last time we used a storage facility we had all kinds of problems from rodents to thieft's to management who just didn't care. we visited econo storage after speaking with the manager there. she was professional and genuine in her concern of our concerns, very nice. we rented a unit that day. I think every time we have been there we have seen the manager out on the property somewhere. this is a facility that is very clean, competitive'rate's with a manager who works hard to see that your happy and safe.
