Not sure what’s up with the people working here. But they couldn’t tell me what size the space is I was looking for, couldn’t tell me a number for an available space, couldn’t be bothered to get up and show me the space. They rolled their eyes when I asked about space sizes and numbers, and looked at me like they were confused as to why I was there…. And now 1 day later they changed their inventory to “no spaces available” when yesterday there were at least 4, 1 of which was full of garbage and gas cans. Very weird experience walking into a business and the employees not wanting to do their job.

I would go to the site before committing. This one has an oder, so be sure to pack items in bins. The indoor units have wood interior and not metal. That could cause moisture issues. I will keep for now. Office rep is very helpful. It’s not a no, just consider how you store items.

I just closed my account at this location, and I'm very sad to have done so. I've been a customer for years and thought the facility and management were amazing, however the company policy is to continually raise the price of the rental, not by a little but by a lot... after 3 years of renting here the price more than tripled. And as long as you stay here, the price will continue to rise, which makes renting storage here an unsustainable venture. I really cannot recommend using this facility except in very short term because of that, which is sad because everything else about the facility is great and convenient. Had the price not risen, I would have been happy to pay for storage here for 5+ more years. Cubesmart, give me a consistent price and I'd honestly be happy to be back.

Securing a storage unit was incredibly easy (I did everything online), found my unit and was off and running. What was impressive is that within minutes of having everything taken care of online, I received a call from the manager (Brian) making sure I was taken care of. Kevin and Brian are definitely what makes this place worth it. They are both such great people who genuinely care about the customer. Our experience with them was top notch and the reviews are what had us choosing this facility over the many in San Diego. The process to sign up was easy and they were informative about the whole process. Our rent did increase during the 7 months we had the two storages. Luckily, that's all the time we needed it for. Not quite sure how often rent increases, so that is something to keep in mind.

I have utilized many storage facilities over the years. The Murphy Brothers are the absolute best managers of a storage facility I have ever worked with on the East and West Coast. My needs for a storage facility sometimes exceed those of the typical customer/tenant. Here are a few things that are most important to me: * having convenient and easy access to my stuff. I need a close proximity of my accumulating collections of stuff to the safe and secure spot where some of it is gonna be stored. My stuff is literally just a few minutes away and I can get to it when I need to. * clean and weather proof storage bin.This place is exceptionally clean and well maintained. Last week during the pouring rain I visited my unit and before leaving I threw down a small white towel to wipe up the wet foot prints and little water puddles I'd tracked inside. After I'd finished I was amazed to find that my *white* towel was still WHITE and not filthy. That's actually sorta weird dontcha think? I suppose these guys (Kevin and Brian) must have serious OCD. :D * friendly polite customer service is NOT something that I require nor even expect from a storage facility company but after a few visits, I've come to admire these brothers a great deal. Perhaps its because they're from the same small east coast town where I grew as well. "Yo, Kevin and Brian, see ya soon!"

In an abrupt chain of events I ended up needing to store my belongings for much longer than anticipated, from August 5, 2017 to June 16, 2019 to be precise. To say that my experience was incredible would be an understatement. Kevin and Brian have been nothing but kind, understanding and caring while maintaining a high level of professionalism. I remained in communication with them with updates of when I anticipated moving out and they appreciated that a lot, which gave me piece of mind. Over and above the excellent customer service, my unit was clean and all my furniture is INTACT and in the same condition it was in when I moved in almost 2 years ago. That to me is impressive!! Thank you for everything!!!

This place is top notch on service been going here since late 90's... 3 generations of my family store there stuff here. I really love how they treat my parents like family when they need help or have questions. Prices for storage tend to be middle of the road when I was comparing then to places on mira mar road and down in mission valley but make up for it service wise

I've had storage units all over San Diego and storage west was by far the best. Kevin and Brian are awesome! They helped us pick out a unit that would accommodate our needs. They were very helpful, kind and informative. I am very happy with their customer service. The units here are very nice and clean. Right off the freeway so it's easy to get to. Access in and out of my unit was a breeze and pretty affordable for the area. Overall, I would recommend this place.

Worst customer service experienced, I had this unit for about 6 months, I lost my key to the unit, I came in to close out the unit, I let the guy up front know that i needed to cut the lock because I lost my key.. he then scoffs at me (literally) and asked me how did I lose my keys, and that they just can’t cut the lock. We then get into an argument about it,(he tells me its that people don't just lose their keys as if I did it on purpose..) and then he throws a pad at the counter and tells me to fill it out, still scoffing.. I kept my cool because i was about to get really upset, but then got the lock cut( it took the guy 4 seconds).. I’m a business owner myself, but this was just unreal..

Very cool cool staff. They let us unload uhaul truck after hours. Not for big trucks. We rented a 26' Uhaul truck and got stuck in the drive way, because of the dip right before the drive way. The staff were very helpful. Clean property

This storage facility was clean, safe, spacious, easy to use, and well managed. We also got a great rate on our unit, and the 17-foot truck that they offer for move-in was completely free - we didn't even pay for gas!
