While in between homes, I rented a 10x20’ climate-controlled storage unit at the Cube facility on 13th St, Gainesville. From start to finish, I had an A-one experience. Assistant Manager Kimberly was very helpful and always friendly and she alone would ensure my repeat business. [I also had great service from Serena when I had reason to call the 800 # twice and the manager Tyler was equally helpful when we first contacted them.] Even though my storage unit was on the 3rd floor, closest to the roof, it never got hot, and using 2 Damp Rid containers as suggested by Kimberly, kept all my furniture & household items dry and odor-free for the month I stored them at the Cube. I feel confident an even longer stay would’ve achieved the same results. There were never any issues re security as the gate, doors, and elevators all require a code for access. The lock for the storage door, which conveniently has 3 keys, has to be purchased, but we got to keep it, so you can feel confident they are not reusing locks. We never had any difficulty gaining access to the facility as our code always worked the first try. I have an absolute phobia of the giant American cockroaches here in Florida (people call them “Palmetto bugs,” as if that makes them nicer) and I was terrified they, and perhaps other bugs, might get into my storage unit and belongings, but my fears were completely unfounded. My storage unit was very clean (and odor-free) with no signs whatsoever of any insect activity when I first rented it and again when the movers removed all my belongings a month later. I have been unpacking the many, many boxes I’d stored in the Cube and haven’t had anything in them that didn’t belong. If you share my phobia, you know what an incredible relief that’s been. So thank you to Kimberly and to the Gainesville, FL Cube storage facility for safeguarding my household possessions and making my first storage experience a great one from start to finish.

I had a great experience renting a unit at Cub Smart Storage. I made my reservation online and almost immediately received a call from Taylor. He was incredibly kind and professional, walking me through the entire process. I mentioned that I live in Fort Lauderdale and would be moving in on a Sunday, when the office would likely be closed. As soon as I completed the payment, Taylor called me again and explained exactly how to access the unit on move-in day. He made everything so easy and stress-free. I truly appreciated his helpful attitude and excellent customer service. I highly recommend this place!

Clean, convenient storage with air conditioned spaces. It was easy to set up, they give a lock with 3 keys. We had a unit upstairs on the 3rd floor. Since there are carts near the elevators, getting up to the unit was not an issue. We were selling our house and needed a temporary storage for a few months, which turned out to be 5 months. It worked out well. Tyler was helpful and pleasant. They have supplies for sale and a van to rent, though we did not use these services.

The staff are extremely helpful. The price for the unit is very reasonable and they accept homeowners insurance. They have larger units with climate control, which is what I needed. The storage unit is clean and bug free. The entry keypad is easy to reach, no poles! You do not have to use a keypad to leave the premises. They have a sliding glass door so I no longer have to try and hold a door open when I am bringing items in or out. They always have carts available and they are in excellent condition. All the lights work and stay on while I am at the unit. I would definitely recommend this location if you need a storage unit.

Everyone I've dealt with at this location has been very friendly and super helpful: Tyler, Kelsey, and Joshua. Josh has helped me out on several occasions and especially this past Saturday when I came in to rent the van a little past the usual time and he was able to make it happen for me anyway.
