My elderly father has a storage unit at this location and he recently needed help paying his bill. I live more than 2000 miles away. Jack was extremely helpful and compassionate with our situation and we were able to get my father paid ahead and learn how to become emergency contacts on the account. This gives us some piece of mind. Jack has been very patient and his kindness is greatly appreciated. I also found the rate for his unit to be quite reasonable.

The classic bait and switch. They advertise and agree to a price. You book online then show up go through all the booking process and at the very end they tell you that it’s another 20% per month for insurance that I don’t want.

Be careful when renting from them because pricing is different for the same unit. We were paying $260 a month for two years while they had the same size renting for $85 a month and when asked if they could work with us to cut it down some they said they couldn’t help. This forced us to have to change storage company and move to one around the corner that offered the same unit for the $85 a month.

This business is very secure and clean. The location is very convenient. The largest benefit is the customer service. They recommend exactly what you need with multiple ways to pay your fees. Each time the unit was accessed, the parking was ample, the controlled temperature was adequate and moving carts were available. In a nutshell, the stress of a sudden move was reduced by this outstanding business and their service professionals.

Very disappointed. I usually paid my bill online and an employee called me to debit it for me from the account. They had an old card and called back sometime later and supposedly left a message that it didn't work. They call me again two weeks later, after there was a late fee accessed and wouldn't waive it. Additionally, they have raised my rate every 3 to 6 months by approximately 10% with no recourse for me, a long time tenant. I will definitely not recommend this location, nor company. Poor customer relations Jack.

So disappointed. My Father had this storage unit since he moved here in the early 90's, when it was Safe and Sound storage. Rent was always reasonable. I took over the unit in 2015 when I moved to Florida. My rent stayed the same. When cube smart took over, my rent immediately went up $50 a month. Now they're raising it again. Payment will be $100 more than when I started. Unfortunately my pay hasn't increased enough to afford it. So, in the process of emptying it and selling a lot of what I had, things I was saving for an eventual permanent home here. Not happy.

Rented a 5x10 unit. A couple months after renting, I discovered rat feces all over my boxes and the unit had a bad smell. I asked another unit owner unloading a space about 10 units from me and he stated that he had the same issue. This is disgusting and unsanitary, so I asked the manager about the pests and she said it is an ongoing problem that they are aware of. I wanted to vacate the premises, but the manager said I wouldn't be refunded for the remaining month. She did offer to put rat poison in my unit, but finding dead rats in my unit would be worse.

Rented my storage locker with ease. Everything went smoothly and the gentleman named Jack that did the necessary paperwork was a pleasure to meet. The only negative comments are 1 They have limited-time when you can enter the storage area. The hours were i believe 9:30-6:30 mon thru sat and only until 4 or 4:30 on Sunday. #2. They charge a $24 00 one time processing fee which is just robbery but the only other option would be not to rent from them. For me it was a matter of convenience so I bit my lip and paid the fee.

I've only been to a couple of other storage places, and in comparison, this is the cleanest business I found. Rentals units come in all sizes; are spotless; convenient in Palm City; & office staff is very courteous and helpful. Fees are roughly the same among the places I viewed, but the units I saw at others were dirty & had dead bugs on the floor. I don't want my things infested!! Safe and Sound is climate controlled too. The entrance is punch code/gate protected. They even have dollies you can use to move heavy things. The only downside are the limited hours. The units are only accessible when the front office is open. If you plan ahead though, this is an ideal place for your treasured belongings. Hurricane Irma had Zero impact !!!!!
