After any applicable free rent promotions have been exhausted and you have rented your storage unit for at least one fully paid month, CubeSmart will plant a native tree in partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation™. Since 2010, we've worked with various organizations to plant over 350,000 trees used for reforestation and wildfire rehabilitation.

The Arbor Day Foundation™ has over 50 years of experience in planting trees in the right places for the biggest impact. Using a science-based approach, they identify forests and communities globally that would benefit most from trees.

From May 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026, for every eligible rental, CubeSmart will contribute $1.00 to the Arbor Day Foundation, with a minimum donation of $50,000. The mission of the Arbor Day Foundation is to inspire people to plant, nurture, and celebrate trees. I worked with the Cubesmart on Thomas Drive in Panama City. The building is new, so its super clean. There was a little issue with the code at first, but they fixed it right away. That made me feel good because I know if anything else comes up, they will step in and fix it. The price is fair for an old place let alone a brand new place. Your things will be the very first things in the unit. I’m glad that I chose this Cubsmart.

My only concern is the lack of carts to move things from car to unit..staff there on Friday was beyond helpful!! Great response! Some reviews here are just mean. The staff seem ready to help anyway they can.

First time using a storage unit. I tried to access using the issued code and the system was not working. Another customer was there having the same problem. I understand that problems happen, however a good business practice should include an emergency number you can call when the local office is closed and you are locked out of the facility because of a computer problem. There is a keyhole lock option for an analog key, but no way to access that key or anyone who has it. I have left phone messages with no response.

For the last couple of months I have been renting two outside drive up units. All of their units are climate controlled so it is very nice to have outside units that I can pull my vehicle up to, have large rollup doors, and are climate controlled. The staff in the front office has been more than helpful in addressing any of my concerns and were very quick in handling my initial setup process. I would highly recommend contacting them if you are looking for a climate controlled storage unit. Also, regarding Monica's post about the gate not working. They have a very easy but long individualized pass code to access the gate. The code requires putting a * and # but if you don't do this the gate will not open. The staff explained this to me when I rented the unit AND there has always been a sign right beneath the key pad that says the process to input your code!

If you're in need of storage, go somewhere else. Their doors do not work and you won't have access to your unit. When you call and wait over an hour for emergency maintenance, they will send an idiot who will come and put the gate code in, reverse his vehicle and speed off. You don't even need a code to get out so there is no way we could have been stuck, which is where the term idiot comes into play. 10/10 don't recommend and if we weren't leaving the state tomorrow I would switch to another company.

Rob at CubeSmart store on Thomas Drive is the best. He patiently helped me pick the right unit according to how many boxes I had. He took the time to show me the units. The units are climate controlled. I definitely recommend this store for storage.
