Absolutely horrible storage facility!! Use somewhere else. It’s dirty with trash littered throughout the facility. One day I came and heard someone snoring so there’s definitely someone living here. Customer service sucks and don’t seem to know what’s going on. The entrance in the front of the building doesn’t work so they make you use the back door which is not convenient if your unit is in the front. There used to be carts for you to use to help move your items but those have disappeared.

My experience has been horrible. Cube Smart has a D- rating and it not associated with the BBB. NO ONE will call me back. I was told Helene damaged some electrical and it was unsafe, however, an article in the Macon newspaper tells me the property was vandalized. The local police have been very unhelpful in my calls. They cannot even tell me if my unit is part of the police report. I am terribly disappointed.

The ones I got in touch with the manager. It was either selling however it was hard to reach the manager. It seems safe enough. We share a review later. although they have been closed due to unforeseen circumstances, I think it ought to be a person to talk to you and let you know what’s going on because this is destination that hurts we can’t get our stuff held up some lights so we could get our stuff

This facility had one way in. No other doors to enter facility would open. Storage unit did not meet my needs and no one was available on the weekend to assist me. I had to find last minute storage elsewhere because I had a truck full of furniture and nowhere to put it. It has been several days and still have not received word on getting my refund for the unit I never used.

Facility is conveniently located near my daughter’s university. We use it during school breaks. The on-site employee Missy was really great. She was professional, accommodating and very upfront regarding the policy and limitation at this time. There is an entrance that is out of commission that made it very taxing to move our things in and out of the facility. She was extremely helpful and made our move out easy and stress free. Thank you Missy at the Macon location.

Would not recommend the place. Door was broken most of the time we had our unit. Nails always in the parking lot and the place was not very clean. Rent was way more expensive than nicer places in town.

WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!!!! I HAVE TRIED TO MOVE OUT OF THIS STORAGE TWICE LAST MONTH! I DROVE ALL THE WAY FROM CLT, NC AND PAID MOVERS TO MEET ME AT THE STORAGE TWICE ONLY TO NOT BE ABLE TO ACCESS MY PAID CURRENT UNITS BOTH TIMES!! NOW THEY ARE TRYING TO BULLY ME OUT OF MONEY BECAUSE THE UNIT IS ACTUALLY PAST DUE. HAD I BEEN ABLE TO MOVE LAST MONTH WE NEVER WOULD HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM. IT WAS NOT MY FAULT THE DOOR WAS BROKEN TO THE BUILDING. IT WAS ALSO NOT MY FAULT SOMEONE PUT AN UNLAWFUL OVERLOCK ON MY UNIT THAT WAS PAID AND CURRENT AT THE TIME. THESE PEOPLE WILL JUST BLEED YOU FOR MONEY. I WANT MY STUFF OUT OF THERE NOW!!! I HAVE HAD 2 UNITS FOR A YEAR YOU WOULD THINK CUSTOMER LOYALTY WOULD BE APPRECIATED BUT ITS NOT. DO NOT RENT HERE, PLEASE FIND SOME PLACE ELSE. YOU WILL REGRET PUTTING YOUR FOOT IN THE DOOR HERE, THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. AND THEY WILL DO NOTHING TO MAKE UP FOR MISTAKES THEY MAKE. IVE BEEN CALLING AROUND ALL DAY JUST TO GET SOMEONE IN CHARGE THAT CAN ACTUALLY HELP ME NOT JUST TAKE TAKE TAKE MY MONEY. I TRIED TO GET OUT TWICE!!!!! The website promotes misleading information. The only reason I choose this storage because of the free moving truck up to 4 hours and available dollies to move. However, it's not here at my location in Macon,Ga. They should list this on the website that different locations varies. Also, when you change your storage in store at any location it will be more than what you was quoted online. I ended up paying more for a down size unit. They did not grant the promotional offer due to the fact I came in store to down size but online it states online you have to come in store to make changes. I will be sticking to istorage units for now on at my location.

Out of all the storage units I’ve rented this one is by far the worst! This is an old Kroger building they converted into a storage unit and it’s the worst! They only have NO moving dollies for that big of a space and it’s entirely too big of a building and too far to walk and have to carry your things! It’s a huge inconvenience especially if you’re paying movers. For what we’re being charged it’s ridiculous how we can’t even get carts. Then it’s often multiple people there at the same time and you have to “wait your turn” with the docks. Then there aren’t any restrooms. Moving in the summer has you drinking lots of water and for the only restroom to be inside a LOCKED office is crazy. They claim to have around the clock service but that is a lie!! They can’t keep staff so there’s nobody there whenever you go in or call! The building is often dirty the doors get thrown off track easily the overhead lights barely work and the ones that do work flicker so it’s often dark and like something out of a horror movie. It’s the absolute WORST storage to rent from???????. Keep in mind I said they can’t keep staff so You can’t get in and out of your storage as you please. Just awful. Management is more concerned with their money than your issues. Roach infested! Water leaking through ceilings!! Doors don’t work!! And with everything being total electric BESIDES THE MANAGER OFFICE when power goes out you can’t get in the building for weeks at a time! Just horrible they don’t even deserve this one little star. Sorry excuse of a business with piss poor leadership! The last worker Missy was the best thing they had going for this storage and since she’s been gone you definitely feel the change. And they don’t have any type of urgency when it comes to replacing her or meeting our needs because the store is “too far” from the others. When you run a business like this you compromise and make a way even if it’s one or two days a week. They just don’t care at all and don’t try!!! They say it’s staff on site don’t believe the lies and Don’t waste your time. It’s a self storage but you NEED STAFF to get in and out. The lies you’re sold online make you want to move in but the nightmares you endure at the Macon ga location make you want to move right back out!

The key I purchased from the facility has stopped working and I have not been able to access my unit for sometime now. I have tried to call and go to the office multiple times, but there is no one there and they will not return calls, even if you leave a voicemail. Very frustrating and disappointing.

I have utilized many storage units and this place by far may be the worst. I am NEVER able to get the on site manager on the phone, I have been trying for a week to make a split payment which is not an available option via the web site. I called customer service 7 times on Monday with no help rendered. I called the Clarkston store and finally got a human on the phone! Lilly was very understanding though she could not process my payment for another store she did advise that she would be in Macon on Wednesday and would assist me then. Long story short ALLOW PEOPLE TO MAKE SPLIT PAYMENTS!! Its 2023, All renters should be able to contact an on-site person during the normal business hours which is no way near possible now. I am extremely disappointed and looking forward to my move out date as this place is so scary to even go to, I never feel safe in the 3 times I have visited since my move -in in Aug because it is a old grocery store building or something made into storage.

The representative that I had was excellent he made it a easy process for me to find the right storage for me once I got the storage movie and was even better I move my stuff into the storage quicker than I did loading it in my car unloading it to the storage was wonderful they had role cards that you could pull your stuff from your car to the storage unit that made it very easy because you could load a lot on one roll cart I think the very much they made my process easy

UPDATE: Cubesmart has asked me to leave a review a twice and both times asked me to reach out to their help page to give more feedback. I have yet to be contacted by a bot or a human. I would give this place 5 stars if they actually took care of the property. The "access code required" doors haven't worked in months, meaning anyone can walk up in there. Even after speaking with the regional manager, they still don't work. Access hours are currently limited to office hours, meaning if I need something I have to take off work to get it. There's also a lot of trash and unwanted things just left all along the sidewalk and lobby. The employees are supposed to clean that stuff out but they don't. They are pretty nice, but I think they're sick of things not working too. The saving grace is that it's literally around the corner from my house.

It has no elevator, they overpriced for a small unit and the access is inaccessible, so you have to wait for the customer service to help you. So if you schedule to go to the cubesmart make sure you carry a brace for walking up a slope stairs

So far its clean and nice. Mr. Bradley was super helpful. The reconstruction of this building was done nicely. Sunday Nov 7. was a very disappointing for me. I had to sit and think about whether I show unload or load my vehicle. Had I known that the construction work would move to the front entrance I would have never moved my stuff into here. Now I have to worry about whether or not I'm going to have access to my thing at any point. I really had to think... in the long run is this going to be successful in the end. There is already one entrance and exit. The back road is completely block off through the back. I'm not sure anymore.
