A lot of lack of seriousness in the auctions, they canceled an auction that I had won, they had waited for me for a long time in what they talked about the payment of the unit and the owner answered them, they have never done that to me in other auctions??????????

Excellent Customer Service at the 1004 S Milwaukee Ave, Wheeling IL location. Andy was very nice to deal with.

I had a $2,000 pottery barn couch in my unit. I kept my unit closed, clean and completely free of food. When I sold my couch I discovered that the wall of my storage unit was chewed through by mice. They had pooped all over the couch and destroyed a cushion. The management of cubesmart refused to fix the wall or clean up the unit next to me. They charged me for putting the couch their facility had destroyed in their dumpster. This place is a literal dump.

Because i can't leave zero. 5x10 has 31" door. Useless, even to a stove.

Storage is fine. Deducted two stars for jacking up the price several times during the Pandemic. I'd move if I could!

Booked a reservation for a 10X10. Went to look at it, it was two 5X10's next door to eachother. employees response was, "we do that to get people in the door". Horrible business pratices.

i called cubesmart in wheeling IL today talked to the manger about renting a 10x10 today. meet him today around 5:10pm he showed me the unit, and even thro it’s not what i thought (divided wall and two doors) i went and get the unit. sign paper work, give him the money for the first month and the first administration fee. i left the office went to go get my uhaul truck loaded with my items, went to my unit around 9pm and couldn’t get into my unit because it still has somebody else lock on them. so now i have to pay a extra day with uhaul possable two days, and lost a day with cubesmart so it started good but ended not good i don’t know my feeling right now about this place but so far it’s not good. my thoughts might change but will update my review

Worse costumer service ever!! the Manager has a bad attitude. The price is good but this location floods.

My initial experience was good. The manager on site was very friendly and courteous.

PROS: * location * price CONS: * FIRST MONTH IS NOT FREE. It's a lie. They tack on a $12 required insurance fee, which you pay the first month, and then every month on top of the rent. It's still cheaper than the Public Storage across the road, but nobody likes a liar. * It's not 24/7 access. * The hinge door doesn't stay open, especially in the wind, and there's not much of a way to prop it, so make sure you get the garage-style door. * Bulb wasn't working all winter. * The website locks the user profile, so occasional/seasonal users, like me, lose access to the online account and tech staff is unresponsive.

Quick and easy. Whole process took no longer than 15 minutes. I got there, looked at the storage, signed paperwork and was on my way. Patrick was quick and efficient!!!

Roy, the manager of this location, provides outstanding service. In this day age of impersonal or careless "service", Roy goes above and beyond in the customer service arena. This is especially true when I consider all the places where I do business. CubeSmart welcomes people off the street that want to rent space. Simple enough. But Roy surpasses the service provided by many other businesses where there may be a lot more money at stake. He is very professional, courteous, efficient and respectful. Roy takes you through all that you need to know regarding property security and access. And more. It is truly nice to see someone at work these days that actually cares and takes pride in his work.

The manager is an ashole today I was at my unit I don't felt good he accused me of leaving in the unit you sick. One day you will be looking for job ashole.

This was our first time renting any kind of storage so we had a lot of questions. The gentlemen were very friendly and informative. The business itself is very clean, nice and professional. We were given a tour of the various options and all of our questions were answered, and everything was clearly explained. We had a very good experience.

Walked in for information on a storage unit. Immediately got a great personal review from a customer that was in the office. Roy was extremely helpful and showed us a unit that fit our needs. He quoted us a great price. We even saved a few bucks when we came back to get the unit. A great experience by far. Definitely recommend renting a unit here.

The manager, Roy, was very friendly and very helpful. I booked online, and he called me back within an hour to setup a time for me to come in and sign the lease. He walked me through the lease process and got me in and out in less than 15 minutes, and helped me get setup with the move-in truck at the same time. Very easy and positive experience. The unit itself is clean and dry, and the doors are big enough to get all my furniture through. The grounds seem clean and well-maintained, and it's easy to get in and out.

Roy McClellan made everything easy, quick and simple. He did all of this while there were several customers needing help and none of us felt neglected, because he not only greeted each of us when we walked in but, assured us that he would be with us soon -- and he kept his word.

I think this is a very well operated storage facility. I'm very pleased with the staff and Roy does a fantastic job. If you're looking for a safe & secure location to store your things, I recommend you check out this place.

What a great place! The grounds are meticulously maintained and orderly. Snow is plowed promptly and close to doors so it never impedes access to the unit. As importantly, manager Roy could not be a better ambassador for the CubeSmart brand, as he is always friendly, welcoming and instantly leaves the impression that he truly cares about the business and its customers, which is a rare commodity nowadays. I could not imagine finding a better place to rent, from easy in-and-out access, to confidence in security, to friendly service. All things considered, the monthly rent is a deal.
