Okay, this is a bit old. But I recently recieved an email asking me to rent another unit should I need it. And I thought I left a review back in October/November 2019 when my issue happened. Got a 20x20 unit early October of 2019. On October 15, I get an email/text stating something about a luggage lock being used and how it was not locked. I believe this was a monday. Upom talking to the person, apparantly it had been that way all weekend and no one decided to alert me. We literally had everything we owned in that unit. Upon arrival, it was ransacked. Everything was gone through. We lost probably around $50k worth of valuables. From cameras, to collectible knives, designer watches, cologne, tvs, vacuums, collectible swords, glass figurines, zippo lighters, rings, necklaces, superman collectibles, guitars, and so much more. Of course a police report was filed. I ended up running across someone selling some of the stuff. And somehow the police told him that if he turned them in no charges would be pressed. Say what?! Yeah... upon talking to the lady manager over the time of cleaning out the unit. Come to find out, her other employee guy, had a habit of not doing the checks around the perimeter like he should. But he had also been replacing the air filter in the unit i rented around the time of the break in, and somehow had the camera unplugged and forgot to plug it in, or forgot to position it back. It was a load of crap. Yes i had insurance. But was only good for like 2500 or something. Never heard from the ownwe or anything. No one. And the lexington police that ha dle the case. Well i found two different people trying to sell items. So if it were up to me. Id urge everyone to be careful. And trust me, locks dont matter because they cut mine. Thankfully all of our clothes were not in the unit at the time. They didnt even offer a free month or anything. Ended up having to buy a lock from them to immediately lock it up. And yeah, you could tell they forced their way in, things were bent on the inside that shouldnt be. Its just a shame that it went the way it did and the owners and managers at the time (maybe the owners didnt know it)... But i say stay so far away and dont think twice about it. If I could give negative stars I would. They advertise as having 24 hour access available for an additional charge. After purchasing a unit I inquired about the 24 hour access because I work odd hours and was told I had to have a commercial business license to get 24 hour access, contrary to the Information online. Then when I was moving my belongings in (mainly tools and music equipment) there was a very rude man living above the office telling me that my gate code isn't working because I didn't pay rent and that I had to leave. I told him he was mistaken as I just paid online the previous day, and I was on the phone with customer service and they were giving me different gate codes to try. I finally got in and was organizing my belongings when two police officers showed up asking what I was doing. I said that clearly I was organizing my things trying to get it all to fit in a way that made sense and that was practical for my needs They told me that the place was closed and I had to leave. I had lost track of time and asked what time it was. They said it was 10:02 pm. A whole two minutes after closing. They don't come that fast to any location for any crime. I kindly locked up and left, coming back the next day to finish up and found a termination of lease letter on my door. Two days. And I had to leave. Don't waste your time or energy dealing with prime storage on enterprise court. ANY other storage company is better. I promise you, you will regret renting a unit here. What a joke.

Over my lifetime on several occasions had to use a self storage facility. Whether going through a divorce or just having too much stuff and needing the extra space. I can say this with 100% certainty, they are all not created the same. The folks here at Enterprise Ct. have been there when times were tough and when life happened, giving me exactly what I needed for a price that I could afford. I had a bad experience with Prime Storage at another location and swore I would never use them again. Kristina convinced me to give them another shot, and it's something I have yet to regret. I gave 4 stars because the customer service was good and the ladies I met the few times I went there were very nice and friendly I liked that they have plenty of driving room especially when pulling a big trailer, you can get around turns easily. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is I was with them a few years and every 6 months or so, the prices went up. By the time I moved out, I was paying over double the rate then what I started. I understand Rates go up but that should be for new customers. I believe it should be set from the time you start. It’s difficult to move everything in and out so you are just kinda forced to continue to pay higher prices. It should not be only low prices to move in then jacked up on you later.

On the 1st I paid for my larger unit...I was able to get stuff out & into a much smaller unit. I asked if my full payment on the huge unit could be credited to my small unit. "...No, they say...we don't prorate -you've paid for the whole month on 'huge' unit its yours til the end of the month..." Gee, I don't need it!!! So bc they don't prorated, people get screwed! I paid a deposit and once I moved I realized I had enough room for all my stuff in my new home. I called to cancel my reservation that Monday (I didn’t do it Sunday, bc they weren’t closed). I was told I couldn’t get my deposit back bc I went over my cancellation date BECAUSE they were closed Sunday and couldn’t be reached to cancel. I’ll never rent from them again nor will I recommend them to anyone. If they needed to cheat ME out of $29, a single mother of two, fighting cancer and struggling to make it and find a place to live then they will cheat anybody!!! BEWARE consumer keep looking. Let me be your guide. If something happens, they will keep your money. Be warned!!

Simple to use and safe facility. Great employees! It's very easy to delegate people to load/unload your unit if you can't be there. Only reason why I'm not giving 5 stars is because I felt blindsided by the month 2 payment - no one ever told me that the first month had a discount on it (I paid $40 for a 5x10 unit) so when I had to renew for a month due to unforeseen circumstances, I was VERY SHOCKED when they told me I had to pay $100. Not the greatest overall experience. Location was very helpful getting in. After that we received statements of increase every couple months. Our price nearly doubled over our year in use. When I called and asked for the price on our exact size unit I was given one $70 cheaper. After questioning why a current customer was charged more I was met with silence.

Crystal was extremely rude and threatened to charge us 75 dollars for going through the gate without putting the code in. My husband and I drive separately and I had put the code it. She was rude and told him he was the problem and he is the reason people don't put the codes in.

I rented a 20ft unit and paid $215 2 weeks ahead of move in. Plans fell through and we couldn't move all of our belongings with us across the country, so we ended up leaving everything behind and requested a refund on April 18th. I was told by Brittany that she would pass the request along amd I should see the refund deposited back into my account within 24 hours. 24 hours later no we had no refund. My fiance and i called everyday to speak woth a manager and was told they would call us back and the issue woukd be fixed. It was never fixed. My fiance had to call our bank on april 29th tonmake a dispute before the money was returned tk us. Needless to say i would NOT reccomend thiplace to anyone EVER!

I was there for several years until I learned of a superior alternative nearby. Everything went downhill after Prime Storage took over this property. It has all the climate control of a barn. Air-conditioning never functioned properly and at the height of summer over two summers not at all. They were not forthcoming about the malfunction, refused to divulge any management contact info, and then after the problem was partially addressed instead of refunding a portion of the rent they increased it. So we paid for climate control we were not receiving, and if I had not visited the unit regularly would never have learned of the malfunction in the first place. Then they eliminated 24hr access. As for security, if you don't remember your front gate code just enter practically any four-digit code and the gate will open. The buildings themselves are not locked so all you need are a pair of bolt-cutters for the padlock. For all of this "service" they also now charge well-above market rates. A newer U-Haul facility nearby has far superior climate control and security and features 24hr access...for roughly half the price. That's where I moved and where I now encourage everyone else to go also.

Used 1-2 10x20ft units from 2010 until 2023. Never any problems. If I was late on a payment if I switched checking accounts or billpay methods, they are great about calling and calling. My nightmare scenario would have been I just forgot to set up pay on a new checking account and all my stuff just gone without realizing it! So the repeated calls were really great for me. Online payment has been really convenient, and they also have auto-pay through that which is also very convenient and easy to set up. Ended up making room at my house for what I had left. But they will be first on my list if I need storage again. Thanks!!!

I have been a customer for close to 15 years. I had three sites and now down to two sites. Customer service is 5 star and the units are leak proof and well maintained. We shopped around and there are no other storage places as affordable and convenient. They even offer 24 access if you need it. Security cameras everywhere. Manager on site 24hours. If you are looking to store a vehicle or need an enclosed unit this is the place to contact. Month to Month or pay by the year and save more. One truck and trailer is almost 54 feet long and is easy in and out.

Terrible experience! I got a unit in March for 129.00 and by August it was raised to 239.00 without any explanation at all! Contacted the company no one could tell me anything! Manager never got back with me at all! Then to go and move my things out and there’s a whole band practicing in one of the storage units!! I would not recommend them, pick a storage place with price lock guaranteed!!!!

I was erroneously charged for 3 months of insurance on my rental unit. As soon as I realized it, I called them. They told me my insurance company had never sent them a Certificate of Insurance. My insurance company said they did. They had a Certificate of Insurance from the year before, but it had expired. I checked my policy, and it has them listed as a Certificate holder and the address was correct. Prime Storage told me they never sent me a letter stating they hadn't received the certificate. I have used the same insurance company for years. My coverage was always in effect. I tried several times to have the company correct it and I asked to speak to a district manager several times, but nothing ever happened. They asked me to review them and I sent them a copy of what my response was going to be. They immediately sent me a letter asking me to contact them so they could correct the situation. I contacted them twice and have not heard from them. I'm surprised. Make sure you look at your invoices and know what you are being charged for. The owner responded to my review, but I haven't heard from anyone. I guess since they think they don't have to worry about further reviews, they don't have to worry about my anymore. What a shame, when a company replies that they want to make this right, and then never does a thing. Beware!

**DISCLAIMER: I am ONLY writing this review because I keep getting emails every day as a 'reminder' to review it. I am happy to oblige with my review, but it is going to be an honest one.** The Good: 24/7 access via access controlled gate Fairly easy access, even with large vehicles The Bad: We moved in to an indoor climate controlled unit with NO Air Conditioning. Not only was this miserable, but it also wasn't ideal for the contents we were storing. This was eventually fixed, but it wasn't until weeks later. Our unit suffered a roof leak that did damage some of the contents. We were able to make an insurance claim but the process was quite a hassle and took a considerable amount of time and effort on our part. The worst of all is the price has increased from $227/month to $373/month. Same unit, same condition, just more money. That's a huge increase with no improvements to show for it. In Summary: Not the worst experience, but far from the best. I've had several other storage units that were less expensive, better kept, and never have I experienced price increases like with Prime.

It was easy to get a storage locker at this place and everybody is really nice but I had only had it for a few months when they raised the price like $15. Also when I initially signed up for it they failed to tell me that I also had to pay $13 a month for insurance. So it’s turning out to be a lot more than I thought per month. I also have autopay set up so they charge my card every month and for some reason I got a bill they sent to collections for like $11. They said I didn’t have a balance and they would fix it but overall everything could have been a better experience.

When I contacted a storage unit as part of the rental application upload proof of insurance for the storage; which I did via my homeowners insurance. This company charged me the first month for rental insurance. When I brought this to their attention the next month (I pay month to month for the rental) they chose not to credit my account for the month they mistakenly charged for insurance. Also I received a notice less than thirty before due that the monthly payment would increase. Strange; however the unit and facility are clean and the inperson staff are nice.

If I could rate it less I would. First of all I was quoted one price and then charge an extra $20 more than that for insurance that I specifically said I did not want nor did I need Insurance on. Not only that access is limited. Also staff was rude when I called to ask why the $64 a month 5 by 10 unit was $104 I was then told insurance is mandatory. I will be moving out ASAP AND I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE!!
