They were so helpful and fast when getting by my unit. Friendly staff came over day of to show me how to use the sliding door, since I couldn’t figure out how. At first I rented a larger unit and they contacted me to let me know it was second floor and if I still wanted it, since I didn’t know. Free lock with unit! 10 out of 10 recommend using them.

Was not informed ahead of time of my responsibility to clear snow in front of outdoor storage unit. Door was always frozen shut to ground, piled up with snow. Could at least salt so customers don’t fall. We shouldn’t have to come with metal shovel, de icer for lock and multiple other tools to open storage. When I complained they barely assisted, only salted and then had them plow way too close to causing them to hit side of our door creating a hole which led to a decent amount of ice inside our unit without anyone informing us of the incident. Very unprofessional. Didn’t even offer me a new unit only moving blanket to protect my belongings. Ya because that will protect from outside elements and rodents from getting into unit through hole. I didn’t even get a time frame when hole would be fixed. Only there a month and it made my entire moving experience so much more stressful. Had to rent a truck a week before our move to swap to another storage facility. Absolutely ridiculous and will never ever recommend them. I should have gotten my money back for lock and move in fee. My items were not protected and I did not receive good customer service. The gate either didn’t work bc was left open along with a door by the gate or you had to pull up so close when exiting it felt like would hit your car just to access the automatic gate door opener. The app never worked to access the gate, I had to call customer service to set up my account on app because they never answer the phone in the office. Worst experience at a storage facility. Do not recommend.

Easy and quick to rent a storage unit. I had no issues with the website. The app is clear and fairly easy to use. The biggest issue I had was with getting into the secure facility. The gate was malfunctioning and I had to call customer service. That issue was resolved fairly quickly.

First time renting at a cube storage. Marie offers outstanding customer service. Extremely knowledgeable about the entire unit rental process. Went above and beyond to explain everything. Was easy to talk with. The facility is very clean and well maintained. Location is excellent easy to drive in and out of. If you have an inside unit and need to spend any time sorting or going through and organizing best to bring portable lighting. Reasonably priced. I highly recommend Cube Storage.

Left my stuff here for about a year. When I got everything moved and into my new house I noticed that there was mouse droppings and some on my items were damaged from them chewing. I contacted them and informed them of my issue. They gave me a number to file a claim and my claim was denied.

Conditions of heated units is horrible. Lock policy is unacceptable. Insulation all falling down. Price is way too high. No ramp to move out so you need to use stairs!! This is by far the worst heated unit storage ever. Not professionally managed. Do not rent a heated unit (inadequately as it went to freezing in winter). You will regret it.

I am moving out of state and needed a storage unit for about 10 days or so. I researched the area well and looked around, Sam picked up the phone immediately and was very patient, helpful, and informative. I made an appointment with him and showed up to the facility. He went over all the details with me and helped me find the cleanest/best storage unit available based on my needs. He also helped me sign up with the best deal they had. I’m grateful for him since he made my experience wonderful and as smooth as possible. Also, shout out to Marie, the manager, for helping me when I needed to close my account and move out since I didn’t need the unit anymore (i.e moving out of state). Needless to say, my items stayed clean and in the same condition I stored them in regardless of the fact that the unit was outdoors. I just want to say thank you again to Sam and if you ever need to store anything, whether it’s for a short or long term, you should sign up with Cube Smart on Bolton st. in Marlborough. The worst storage place one can find. Although the building is new, the cards never work for elevator. Everything is always broken and the help is clueless. They can't even handle issuing new card. One of the many times my card didn't work and the manager couldn't fix, she handed me the manager's card and said she would fix my card eventually. That never happened place and I still have the manager's card. I wonder how many times this has happened before and how many people have manager's cards which could potentially take you to any floor. This is a security flaw! The entry gate has been broken and wide open for over a month now. I have made complaints and the untrained help actually agree that their system never works. YET, NOTHING EVER GETS FIXED. TOTALLY UNRELIABLE STORAGE. I am taking my stuff out of cube smart and going somewhere else. Stay away from this place!

CubeSmart is a misnomer. It should be renamed Cube-Halfwit. A Prospective customer is not permitted to fill out an online lease application even if one is in possession of a CS-670 CubeSmart 2-3/4" Disc Padlock. Online lease signing cannot be completed without the purchase of another padlock from CubeSmart. Likewise, if one has a deluxe home insurance policy with self-storage coverage, to complete the online lease, one must purchase a redundant insurance policy from CubeSmart which is costly and provides very poor coverage.

Bins were damaged & rusting, leaking rainwater & snowmelt, dirt & leaves blew in, mice came in thru the gaps. No humidity control. Goods were damaged even though they were up on pallets and covered with tarps. It was awful. My professional movers were appalled. We never should have stored there

This location is by far one of the worst storage facilities I have ever had to deal with. After moving our things into a “climate controlled” unit, we returned 1 week later to find the entire unit floor wet, with several puddles formed on top of our bins and other plastic storage containers. The front desk made little effort toward resolving the issue. Rather than crediting our account for the first week, finding an identical unit for us, or even offering to provide services to help us move our belongings, they told us that the only available option was a slightly larger unit, which was obviously a higher monthly rate... to avoid even more of a hassle, we agreed to take the larger unit and pay the higher cost. Unfortunately, this was not the only problem we ran into at this storage location. The less than satisfactory service continued when the access gate was frozen shut, and then frozen open. It remained dysfunctional for days even after the office was notified of the issue. Currently - There is snow piled up in front of all of the exterior doors which are used to access the climate controlled building, AND our unit is completely inaccessible, as the exterior doors are all locked, despite being told that they would always remain open during normal access hours. We are now coordinating services to move our items out of this facility and into another more reputable location. Absolutely would not recommend.
