Customer service in your horrible . Yes I had a error in the wrong unit and tried to fix it with Chris in Stratford location and his attitude when I tried to explain the issue and my error his response was that’s not the issue and I end call and spoke to an online rep who fixed the issue 2x after they put a 2nd lick on my unit regardless if it was the wrong unit All that had to be done was change unit and I pay the difference which was done by online representative and I signed it in line 3 days of inconvenient. Then I go in today unit still double locked after they were asked to remove so I could get in. Then was threatened by a Mgr or whoever she was that she would cancel my contract. I will pay my unit and wish to not have to deal with any of the front office workers thank you thru all this my unit was paid and contract signed online and paid thru Aug 26

The guy who did the paperwork seemed nice enough. Although it was irritating that he originally gave me a unit that was cut in half diagonally by the exterior wall making it 35sq’ instead of the 70’ I had contracted for. He said “this happens all the time” (why hasn’t it been corrected?) and switched me to another unit with a column in it taking away about 3’ of my unit. I was too tired to redo the contract again. This would’ve made my review four stars. However, the call I received from the manager lady the next morning is why it’s two instead. She said she watches the cameras every morning and saw me drinking a beer while I was unloading my car. I cut her off there informing her that it’s been nearly a decade since I’ve had a bottle of beer in my hand. She then said “maybe it was a soda that came in a beer looking bottle” (all I drink is coffee and water. Since it was 9pm, I was drinking water) When I said “so what if it was, which it wasn’t, what’s the problem?” To which she replied in the same rude, condescending voice she had used the entire conversation “we don’t allow any food nor beverages in the facility at any time”. Then went on to say that, if spilled, they attract bugs and rodents. A. It’s unsafe to do manual labor without hydration. B. I’m not a toddler. I can drink OUT OF A CAPPED BOTTLE without making a mess. C. Even IF it did spill, isn’t there some sort of cleaning supplies on the premises to clean it up before it attracts vermin-especially if she’ll see it in the morning when she watches the tapes or, per every storage employee’s job description, they walk the halls daily to inspect the conditions of the facility? The only reason I gave two stars instead of one is because the kid who did my paperwork was very sweet and doesn’t deserve to be lumped in with his boss’ nasty attitude. So those two are his. The remaining three that aren’t filled are for her. It’s such a shame that customer service has gone from customer service positions and been replaced with a sense of superiority fueled by ignorance.

The loading/unloading bay is large and covered, so we were able to unload our 26' Uhaul truck regardless of the weather without worrying about losing belongings to the rain. The unit we rented was clean and roomy and the whole building was very clean and well-lit and had multiple carts available for customers to move heavier items. The manager we interacted with when we were moving our belongings into the storage unit was incredibly helpful and thoughtful. He came by multiple times to see if we needed help, and was more than happy to give advice on how to keep our belongings in good condition while they were being stored. He was earnest and I 100% believe that everything he did was because he cared that we were able to retrieve our belongings in the same condition we left them. And when we weren't able to unload in one day he was incredibly accommodating about us needing a place to leave the truck and even called me specifically to make sure I had a lock on the truck because he was worried about our belongings staying secure. I was also very happy to see that not only was there a bathroom available to customers, but that it was an all-gender bathroom as well. The bathroom was as clean well-lit as the rest of the building and the lock on the door felt secure. All in all, my experience with this CubeSmart location has been phenomenal and I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who needs a place to keep things. I'm currently storing pretty much everything I own there while I am between apartments and it is a load off of my mind to have that CubeSmart as the place I've put all my worldly possessions. My only complaint is that the cell signal inside the building is pretty bad, but it's fine if you go out into the parking lot.

Cube Smart Self Storage I like it because especially the covering when you’re unloading your personal items from the vehicle won’t get damaged by the weather. Other storage’s don’t have that option and you’re going to pay more in your monthly rent payment and the service isn’t as nice. Thank you Tracy for helping me out.
