CubeSmart has been a cold change from the previous storage facility of which it took over. Additionally, times have changed in the course of my patronage (approx 11yrs) and in that time, so much has changed that it feels both unfair and too appropriate to weild the primary complaint I have--which is why I still give four stars. The complaint: Prices. How is it that 100 Sq ft costs almost $200/mo? I'm not living in my storage box, thusly you aren't required to have facilities to live with. And no worries, there are no outlets, temp control, or other creature comforts present. There's not even a public bathroom to use as far as I am aware. So why is it that one is being charged $2/sq ft? Eleven years. Really, it has been longer, but I can presently recall eleven years. Outside of pricing, the facilities are maintained enough, I guess. I have endured a mouse infestation and a brief war with ants, but that's all over now. The workers are very friendly and mostly down to earth. Paying online is reasonably consistent, and I'm fairly confident in the security of the place--though there was a scare some time ago when they first took over. In the end, I'm a customer still and the only real disappointment (other than the ants), remains the price. No loyalty programs or valued customer arrangements.No veterans discounts or extended leasing discounts. Just pay, pay, pay; your business is important as long as you're paying. Mixed fwelings, but I remain for now. Jay and Ana are pleasant people to see when I do make it to my storage to store or retrieve something...they make me forget how gouged I feel by the pricing...but for the rest of the time, I'm reminded by my financial picture site reduction... Partly my fault, of course, but to go from $40 to $124 (give or take a few bucks) is still a 300%+ increase regardless of "why"; how about $50 to $100....? Is that a more fair comparison? Regardless, yeah, outside of pricing, the place securely stores your items using your labor and keeps it secured. On the far-south side of town. There were security guards at night at one point, but am not sure if that is the case any more. You lose gate access if you are late and you receive a key for your specific lock on your specific storage room. Accessed outside. Gate opens at 8am, and closes at 10pm . 7 days a week.

I definitely do not recommend this place! Very unsafe! My RV was broken into and I was told by the manager, Anna, that I needed to keep that insurance in order to get coverage reimbursement. So untrue! Didn't make sense to me but I did it because she said so. They did not cover me. Their cameras do not view everywhere. Total loss!! Highly recommend you go elsewhere!

I had high hopes but then they wanted to rent me a unit that had huge water stains on the walls and I just wasn't willing to take that risk even though they gave me an explanation about how it was repaired and all of that I don't know. Super expensive, no guarantees. The insurance didn't cover any water stuff at all. So it's like what?

Ana provided stellar service which seems to be a rarity anywhere these days. She was friendly, courteous, had superior product knowledge, all of which made my transactions smooth and painless. Furthermore she expressed an interest in my quest for vehicle storage which exceed other competitors. It was her personal touch that caused me to return and sign the storage agreement after exploring other facilities. Reasonable prices and efficient service makes for a five star rating. Do not put anything you really need, and/or care about inside these storages, take my advice and find another place. They keep raising the rent without telling you. There have been break-ins there. they force you to buy insurance, but then take no responsibility for your stolen items, because they said you should have filed a police report. I only learned about the break-ins once I read it in the newspaper! There is definitely a lack of communication between new ownership (CubeSmart) and the customer. Their prices are very high for what you get in return. I’d definitely shop around for other storage facilities in the area.

Ana was very helpful! Place felt safe and well kept. Saw some other reviews that said there is no security or video cameras but not only were there signs for security cameras (and visible cameras to go with) you can see the video monitors in the office — also the entrance has a chain on it. Great rates, would highly recommend!!

I wish they were open until 10pm. I tend to be more active in the evening, even if I got up early. The girl in the office is very sweet and organized. The 10x20 foot unit was very clean and there are mice-to be expected.

Our unit was broken into and a bunch of our stuff was stolen. We weren't offered a break on rent and all of the broken untis haven't been repaired no improvements were made to helpnwith security. Terrible!!!

Put stuff in my unit in 2013, just came back for it last week. I took a pic of when I packed it so it was clear to me the unit was gone through. Tons of stuff is gone - including many books I was hoping to take with me and a lot of my dads art. It looked as though the unit had been entered through one of the walls, (made of Sheetrock LOL) and my grill was out, as was a bag of toilet paper - thinking maybe someone was living in there for a bit? We put an apartment's worth of possessions in unit 515 for 18 months, and when we came to pick them up found an inch of water on the floor, a leak in the roof, a soaked wall, all with mold growing down the side. We informed the staff on site and they responded that they were not responsible for damage. They sure are responsible for their leaking roof! Its a minimum expectation for mini-storage, that the contents not be soaked and left to mold.

Michael was very helpful and the prices are very reasonable. Clean and centrally located. So many times, storage can be expensive and they always seem to raise the price on you after a few months. My experience here has been that they don't do that. Very happy with my experience.
