On December 8th 2024 I contacted Cube Storage and spoke to a customer representative Amy for need of storage. I saw advertisement while on the #2 train heading home from work to West Farms Square.. I went to office spoke to Jay which I paid 2 months advance for storage. Very helpful, polite and professional.

CubeSmart is the worst. My uncle had thousands of dollars stolen out his storage here in the Bronx location (southern blvd) and nobody knows what happened could be an inside job. Another thing they do not have enough cameras funny thing they put another lock on it.

They charge a $12 convenience fee to make a payment over the phone and for me to avoid it I will have to go to my local storage to make the payment to avoid the convenience fee also their interest rates gets very high every year it doubles and triples as I see it there is no customer satisfaction

Dishonest office. Do not rent from these guys. I booked a reservation in advance for a move-in on 7/31. I received an email saying they were holding the unit for me until 7/31. I called the store location to book the moving truck and they told me I had to submit the payment immediately to book the moving truck (there was a promo for a free truck rental). When I logged in, I noticed the lease start date was wrong- it showed that day's date, instead of the 7/31 requested. I was told by the store to just complete the payment to get the ball rolling and book the truck. Instead the lease was still written up with the wrong date, and I was charged for an extra week of storage, even though they acknowledge the reservation was made for a 7/31 date. Now they refuse to change the lease date or cancel the reservation. Meanwhile it was incorrect to tell me that I had to go and complete payment to book the moving truck. I've since booked with a different CubeSmart location with 0 hitches. Avoid this location.

The storage space is dingy, there is no lighting, plaster and cements chips and dust falls all over your belongings, the space you rent is not accurate, for example I was trying to upgrade from a 5’ x 10’ to a 10’ x 10’ but the space was more like an 8’ x 6’5” space, then the price was outrageous $287. I went to Extra Storage Space and got a 10’ x 15’ for $211, the storage space is like new and very clean, it has a light in the center, the space is exactly as advertised, staff are very courteous and helpful, the keypad works like a charm.

I went to CubeSmart on 1810 Southern Blvd in the Bronx and I had a great experience. The place was very clean and the staff were also very nice. I was helped by Ronald, which he did an amazing job in making sure I had all the proper information. I will recommend this place to all my friends and family.

When moving in or out the doors and the gate closes quickly so you are rushing to get in and out of the loading dock before you are locked out. One more thing every year they will go up on your rent so be prepared to pay more.

The most careless storage unit you’ll find. These people don’t care about your belongings. I have damage to all my property including medical supplies when I brought this to their attention, that there was debris falling from the ceiling. They did nothing they wouldn’t change my unit they did not compensate me at all. Yet they still felt a need to keep raising the price every other month. I call Corprate I left Corprate many messages they never got back to me. Do not rent from the storage unit they’re disgusting. Every time I go there there’s toys and garbage everywhere. People just dump the trash right in front and the employees never clean it up because they don’t care.

The unit that I had was fine and the place was always kept clean. But I felt like they wanted me out and keept raising my rent every 5-6 months. I started at 120 a month then went to 145 and then 175. To go from 120 to 175 was just crazy. So other then the fact I felt like I was getting robbed it was good.

The staff at this Cube Smart are very helpful and friendly. This storage facility is well maintained. It isn't open after normal business hours which can be helpful to some individuals. Keep this in mind if you are considering procuring storage and you may need to access your unit, after hours.

Clean and secure. Reasonable. But not laid out very well. Only 1 garage spot available for loading and unloading so street parking is available. Location isn't the best either. Under an El train (noise). The customer service is spot on though. Staff is helpful and aims to please.

Front gate wasn’t working. Bringing things in there through the ramp and front gate not open is a pain I wouldn’t like to the deal with everyday. The floors on the second floor are worse than the NYC streets pot holes and I didn’t enjoy bringing my stuff to my storage unit which were all the way at the end on the opposite side of the elevator.. luckily I didn’t had that many things to make my easily one trip two trips , but the associate was very helpful and courteous, he help me in a professional manner and I was able to somewhat enjoy my experience because of Jeffrey..

My experience at CubeSmart was made excellent by the staff at the Boston Rd location. Most notably Desiree, Krystle & Robert. They made I took full advantage of their promotional offers, saving me a pretty decent amount of cash. Thank you Desiree. Also Robert went out of his way to make sure I was hydrated on a 90 degree day, by offering me bottled water after watching me shuffle my belongings back & forth. I made sure to single them out personally, for the level of service was very personable & friendly. Lastly, the young man name Jeff, who jumped in his car & picked up a moving kit from another location. That's wowing your customer! Made me feel like I had friends looking out for me at CubeSmart.
