I would like to say that CubeSmart in deer Park is great. It’s always clean very well maintained and there worker Janelle is perfect for that job. After carefully reviewing the lowest post with this storage place there's absolutely no way I would ever rent from you. One bad review is enough but there's severa.. obviously there's a problem. And what's with the constant reason for raising the rent? I have a pod in New Jersey for 3 years it was $99.99 you know how much they raise me in 3 years $2 not like you thieves.There's a place right down the block from you and that's where I'm going. I would never deal with you people! These people can't make this stuff up I've been in storage areas I've seen some of the nightmares, but these reviews are definitely enough so I will remove you from my email and unsubscribe because I am not interested thank you very much.

This place is horrible! They raise your rates constantly & if you are late with payment they charge you an astronomical fee. Also, not willing to work with you at all if you fall behind on payments. I called several times for an entire week, left numerous messages for a person named Shai. I also called his voice mail & left messages to which he never responded to my calls. I had spoken with Janelle & left a message for Shai with my concerns. She said she would forward a message. Called me back 5 minutes later & asked me if I could come down & unlock my unit so they wouldn’t have to cut the locks on Saturday. When I told her this is a time sensitive issue, she said Shai would call me back in 24-48 hours. Meanwhile this was on a Thursday & she said we had plenty of time (locks to be cut this Saturday) PS Shai never called. This is a customer service job, you are supposed to help the customers & be kind, compassionate & helpful. This is not my experience at all. People work hard for their things & u fortunately sometimes you have no other choice but to put them in storage. They are so quick to sell the contents of your unit & have no compassion whatsoever. Very poorly run. I would not recommend this place to anyone. If I could rate zero stars I would. In this day & age where people are barely holding themselves afloat, they should be more understanding that things in life happen due to unfortunate circumstances. I will be accelerating this also to Chanel 12 news & corporate & the BBB. If you aren’t willing to help, you a shouldn’t be working in a customer service job. Shame on you!

Faculty is poorly run. The building is not in fact climate controlled, I've visited my unit on the second floor on numerous occasions and it was hot/humid. When going through my belongings I found roaches and bed bugs all of which I have never had in my home previously. Some weird liquid seemed to have been on the floor of mv unit which was noticed upon clearing my unit. The managers are absolutely rude and confrontational. Stay clear of this facility!!!

I’ve been with this storage company for almost 2 years and I have never felt so disrespected in my life. I went to pay a bill the day before the new late charges hit my account and I was given a index finger while other customers were inside the lobby. My daughter and disabled brother was waiting for me in the car as I waited at the door. After shaking the door and being watched like a hoodlum or civilian I went back to my car. Patiently waiting for another few minutes-I got contact with the associate Kelly and I still was not allowed inside. I waited about 2 more minutes to see what was going on. There were others inside but I have been inside this storage with others so I didn’t understand the rudeness. I eventually left because my daughter had to use the restroom-So I went home. Later that day I called to pay and got no answer as well. So, Today Juje 29th I go and what a different experience minus the late fee charge. I am not happy with but still what a difference welcome -Smile -and most customer service!. I am extremely thankful for Janelle and her kindness. Unfortunately I will be moving to a new storage due to this situation. Very disappointed on how I was treated. As far as the location-Not bad! No lights inside of big storages but overall ok! Just expensive after contract is up!

The girls T the desk were nice On my first the girl showed me the location of the locker It was a 1000 number I didn’t realize it was in the basement I walked around the the first floor looking for the 1000 number it says 2000 numbers o called the office three times because of the problem I was having when I found it it was tied with a green strip I had to go back upstart to get the girl to help me The cart was hard to miniver I was not happy I suggest you have a sign hanging to fing the locker from the ceiling And the barely should start with b then your number

I discovered CubeSmart Self Storage through a Google search for "storage comparison websites." CubeSmart is a clean, indoor, climate controlled (lessens damage/odors/mold from tempurature changes) storage facility with reasonable prices, a clean bathroom & one month of free storage. A "no brainer!" They were one of the closest facilities to me & also one of the least expensive ones overall, esp for indoor, climate controlled storage. Fred, one of the managers & the new hire Chris, both in the Deer Park, NY location, were/are both funny & amazing customer service reps! As a former, successful retail manager for over a decade, I know about customer service & these guys delivered it with seemingly natural care & personality! They gave me a useful, informed & entertaining tour of the facility & made good suggestions for my rental needs. I have access to the facility from 6 AM until 10 PM, which is great! My moving assistants noticed "the clean, nice smelling, temp controlled facility with a clean bathroom" before I could ask them thier opinions of it! Honestly, moving isn't fun, but CubeSmart made it easier with good customer service, reasonable prices, a nice facility & a updated app for payments, questions & general account maintenance. The service & facility speaks for itself. I highly recommend using CubeSmart Self Storage!

Easy sign up, great app, easy leave policy, no hidden fees or notices needed in order to leave. Just take your lock, clean out the unit, and let the office know. They check it within 24 hours and you’re out. The reason we got rid of the unit, is because the rent goes up every six or seven months. After a certain amount of time, it doesn’t make sense to keep the unit, when you can purchase a shed, a carport, or even do an extension on your garage. These units are not really for a long long long term use.

I normally go there with no problems. Really had GO first, so stopped by the bathroom before I put things in my unit & the bathroom is locked...??? It's only 5:30pm and the storage is open until 10pm. Why is the bathroom locked??? Never been locked before. No sign or anything, just locked. I had to fly out of there quick & find a place to relieve myself. Waste of gas money, not going back today. 3 stars because staff is normally nice, not sure about this issue though and I hope it does mot continue. I will be calling management or corporate office. Other than that I like the place and the units are nice and clean. The staff is polite and helpful. Update - It's 10-9-23 The bathroom has been opened up about after 1.5 weeks that I put this review up and has not been locked since. Unfortunately people put extra garbage in their and someone keeps crapping black ish all over the toilet! ???????? to management woman who cleans the bathroom and removes the garbage. I added 1 ?? back for that. As far as management (owner) reaching out to me, which I do appreciate, you do not need my unit numbers (as I have more than 1) or my contact info to keep the bathrooms open. An open bathroom is good for everyone. I thank you that they have been left open again and I added 1?? back. So 5 stars now.

This place has no security except security cameras THAT AREN'T LINKED TO ANY CENTRAL MONITORING STATION.. This place was broken into Last November and 32 storage units we're robbed including mine, I lost over $18,000 worth of construction equipment. They spent over 2 hours on premises breaking into unit after unit. Along of people lost Along of stuff, and there insurance only covered $2,000. They have not put any security measures in place so this won't happen again and so for that reason after 10 years of being there I moved my stuff to a storage facility with better security. They've also removed people's posts about this robbery so that nobody finds out that they basically have no security here. STAY AWAY PEOPLE!! GO TO A SECURE FACILITY, THIS PLACE IS TOTALLY NOT SECURE AND IS ON THE BORDER OF A HIGH CRIME RATE TOWN OF WYANDANCH!!!

Fred and Jeff helped me get situated with an outdoor storage facility and I kept my possessions there for 3 years with no issues whatsoever. They were always kind , professional and remembered me when I stopped in to check in on my storage. The location was always clean and kept up. I highly recommend this location for your storage needs. Move out before your month charges they do not pro rate the days you don't use. And they won't explain that to you when you sign up.
