Someone needs to update your hours correctly because obviously this is not it. They always try to close an hour before closing time... smh. Do better people!!!

Why am I storing my stuff in this place for it to be destroyed. $242 a month for a small unit is also outrageous. Get an exterminator and someone to fix the leaking pipes.

Cube smart is great and very affordable, great customer service and phone support. I’m over all very pleased. My issue is with the rolling ladders. They are very narrow, which makes it very hard to move up and down with bulky items, they are hard to maneuver and position, and the railing on them are too high sitting above the level of the bottom of the top storage unit doors, making it very hard to get heavy objects into the space, and requiring constant adjustments.

This place is a complete disaster. Despite being a relatively new building, nothing works. One of the doors is always broken, the access pad constantly fails, and the elevators are a nightmare with ongoing problems. And as bad as that is, the real issue is the staff. They can’t even manage basic tasks like cleaning the common areas, but they are more than happy to come after tenants for any minor mistake. I accidentally left a cart outside the premises because my car had a battery issue, and they immediately called me, demanding I return it. Meanwhile, as other reviews point out, the office is frequently abandoned for hours, and they can’t even open on time. I apologized and explained my situation, but they told me they didn’t care and were too busy—yet somehow, they found time to slap a $50 charge on my account. Apparently, the person in charge stayed late just to fine me. When I tried to discuss this with the manager the next day, she was unbelievably rude. She claimed I had a history of complaints, but when I asked her to list them, she just repeated things that happened recently. I barely stop by as it is, and after almost a year, I’ve always paid my rent and any late fees when necessary. But this person acts like she owns the place, while doing a terrible job running it. The lack of training, poor management, and total failure by Human Resources is glaringly obvious. This is the worst-run building I’ve ever dealt with, and it’s clear nobody cares about improving it.

Jessica is PHENOMENAL! I needed a unit right away as a walk in. She helped me immediately, showed me an available unit and I signed my lease that same day. The rate is reasonable and I love that it’s within a few minutes of my home. The facility is clean and service by Jessica was GREAT! The Supervisor Esleen has terrible customer service skills and a very nasty very unbothered disposition. I called to inquire details on my move out and she came off very curt. She also gave my mother a hard time on her move out day. It is understandable that an establishment such as CubeSmart would have certain protocols in place as any establishment would but it’s very unnecessary to come across the way she does and the way a few of the other employees do as well. Leadership positions are very important as they set the tone for the rest of the staff. It’s not very complicated to inform a customer of said protocols while remaining polite and professional. If you go through the reviews you will see there several reviews with the same complaints. Hopefully management does something to resolve this issue. If I ever move back to the area and need a storage unit I would not return to this location or recommend it.

The manager Eslene is extremely rude and has been since the beginning. The day I closed out my account I said good morning and was cut off and directed to empty my unit and if it is clean with no lock I could close out no, good morning or anything, she proceeded to follow and watch my moving company empty out the unit to then tell me that I couldn't because it wasn't my storage until I verified that she was mistaken and it was my unit and after everything was out she told me I couldn't close it out because I opened it under my maiden name. I responded that it was the same and she said no it isn't in TI Storage that the DM is very stern and they can't even buy paper towels which was very unprofessional as well. That is not the first rude interaction with her that was one of many. We had 3 units (1was my daughter's and she said the same) The moving crew said she was very rude as well because she was watching them and told them they couldn't hold the door open that they must punch in the code every time but in a very nasty manner. NEVER AGAIN! Best Regards,

I'm appalled this place opened 1 hour and 23 minutes late today. Not only did the Manager not apologize for having loyal customers wait on a weekday AGAIN but she replied in a rude manner and gave us an attitude stating "I had an emergency". Emergencies happen and it's very understandable, but when you have management open doors late to customers on a weekly basis there's some form of incompetence that needs to be addressed by Corporate. People work hard to pay for the facility services, it's not right to stand around waiting in the sun for the doors to open late without a notice or anything and should demand proper services directed to them. I hope Corporate replaces this locations management and hires someone that knows what they are doing and actually wants to do their job. It's not rocket science to show up on time and if Corporate allows this to continue this place will lose business!

We have been using Cube Smart Glendale for months and I have to say I am very disappointed. It takes one bad experience with an employee to ruin your time with a service. There were two employees at the location that INSISTED they told me once to move out of the way of the automatic door. I explained to the employee no problem I am apologize but it wasn’t me who you had spoken to (which was true as I would have moved the first time if someone had spoken to me). She argued back with me saying both employees told me twice and started to raise her voice. She then said the same thing to my sister (we look similar) that she must have told her to move then (which wasn’t the case either). My sister said no problem but wasn’t me you spoke to. The employee proceeded to get more upset with us since we were disagreeing with her (mind you she wasn’t even in a uniform she was in summer clothes so I don’t even know if she worked there). I didn’t ask the names of the two employees because I was so livid at how she argued back with me but I will never recommend this storage location and I can’t wait to end my membership there.

Ongoing scenario over the weekends there's nobody here that's supposed to open at 9:00 a.m. it's 9:15 this has been going on for years. Janitor walks around like he owns the place. I was on the phone or sit in the office. Urine on the floor in the bathroom. Garbage is are always full. Toilet paper is always missing soap dispenser is broken all the time. Garbage outside of the building screws all over the parking lot, walks around the floors and blows all the dirt with the leaf blower. Update 26th of December. Filthy as hell. No soap Garbage spewing from garbage can. Filthy carper everywhere. Ice allover the driveway in front of the loading dock. Dirty elevator floor and doors.

I wish i have looked at the reviews before getting into it. Staff is very rude and unprofessional. Additionally as everyone in the reviews mentioning there is always an issue with billing! Even tho i have enrolled in automated payment in never works and always they charge u extra 10$ for a late fee. + they raised my price without any warning. Whenever u call customer service they always blame urself and ur bank. First thing that i did is called my bank. Bank said there is no issue from their end bc all the other auto payments were working just fine. But after looking at the review i made sure that its the cubesmart itself that has issues with billing! Horrible customer service!

As a loyal customer, I would have expected to be treated better, but the customer service at this location is at best- subpar. Staff members seemed disinterested and unmotivated to assist customers, and there is a noticeable lack of efficiency in addressing inquiries and concerns. The General manager, Ms. Jones (who refused to give me her name initially) exhibited behavior that was unprofessional and unacceptable. Not only was here demeanor rude and dismissive, but her lack of attention to customer needs was evident throughout my call. To boot- she was speaking to someone else and laughing while on the phone with me. It is disheartening to witness such behavior from someone in a position of authority within your organization. Nonetheless, if you're looking for storage needs...this location is definitely not it. You will only end up disappointed and highly frustrated.

I ran into multiple issues on 2/20/2024 regarding my bill payment. I was charged twice ($456) and I called customer service right away to bring this to their attention. However, they redirected me to the facility. I then call them up and the lady at the front desk was extremely unprofessional, rude and dismissive. She answers the call, did not ask for my name and did not let me speak on my situation nor did she explicate what exactly is going on with my account and how to resolve the fact that the current charge on my account is now incorrect and past due of $221.71 , which it should be 218 including fees. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I called customer service to explain the situation and the initial lady just hung up on me, therefor I call once more and finally received a helpful person. They stated that they had sent the message to their district manager Craig Inserillo. I waited for his call patiently, and no call back or email attempting to help me with this situation. I am still currently waiting for their response to this situation and it’s been almost a week since I’ve heard from anyone in CubeSmart…I’m immensely disappointed with this facility and company overall.

Using CubeSmart was good for a while. Nice, and close to my house. The access hours could be a little longer and have more parking spots, but really nice, spacious, and quiet. However, beware that they will pull a rug from under you and raise your rates drastically ($159 to $192) within 3 to 6 months of using it and say “oh that’s just how it is.”

I just received a notice in the mail that the rent on our 10x10 unit will increase by $78 next month- from $316 monthly to $394! This is absolutely outrageous. My rate was about $275 under TI Storage Cooper Ave, but the. Cubesmart purchased the building and the business and sent everyone’s rates skyrocketing. There is zero reason for a $78 rent increase, especially since I was also given less than 30 days notice. I will definitely be moving our belongings to another local competitor and closing my account. In addition to the constant and steep price increases, the Cooper Ave location is poorly run and poorly maintained. On our floor, there was a couple just hanging out in their unit with a large pit bull on a dog bed, unleashed, harassing anyone who dared to look at them. The staff is not helpful or courteous and act as if you’re asking for the world. The hours are super limited so if you work, good luck getting to your stuff. They close at 7 but kick you out at 6:30. Definitely not worth it.

Good afternoon, I am a current tenant for many years and opened many buildings for Treasure Island (prior to your purchase) in terms of cleaning services. The reason I am contacting you is because my team has nowhere to go to with issues at this location with your GM and I apologize to bring it to you but we are left with no options. This location was tailored to suit our business needs now it is actually hampering my operation. We rented in this location as there were doors installed in order to house my power washing equipment 24/7, we even had emergency poles installed and space just for us to be able to move our equipment. I have lost 4 jobs because the current GM of the location refuses to let us open those doors to take my equipment out of the location. We also were taken away 24/7 operation access with no lead time and has hurt our operation as well. The GM of the location refuses to help and at this point refuses to do anything about it or support and is very nasty with my employees who are just trying to do their job. My team should not feel harassed or scared to speak to any one we rent from as what went from a wonderful partnership has become a nightmare. I have spent a large amount of revenue at your location and continue to do so but the GM and Cube Smart is now affecting my business and I am canceling work orders due to it. I would understand if there was professionalism and an understanding as to why we cannot access our equipment but prior to her arrival we did not have one issue. We would access these doors daily. In fact those door are fire emergency doors that now seem to be locked after us using them for years. Again I apologize for placing this on you shoulders but we have zero options and it is clear this GM does not respond well and rather have my staff avoid any issues.

Can't wait to take my things out of there. Charged me twice within a years time span. Was paying $135 with treasure island now that they bought it from them its now $175 for a 4×9. Not even there for 1 year n a ahalf. And they charged me $10 for 1 day late bcoz my card I had on autopay got lost and I didn't know and I told them about it and they didn't care

If I could rate it zero stars at this point, I would. My storage unit was one of many affected by Hurricane Ida back in September 2021, and despite dozens of calls, emails, and redirects, here I am almost two years later without any closure, any reimbursement, or any help. Over 80% of my stored items were destroyed due to Ida, and despite reassurance that my claim would be addressed with the utmost care, turns out that was a complete lie. For all that I paid on a monthly basis for a year, and had to then pay after the fact to replace everything that was lost - which was virtually everything considering the disgusting state of things when I was finally notified - you would think that they did something. Nope. NOTHING. It’s as if they just hoped I would drop it, or forget about it so they didn’t have to pay out my claim. Feels like I got scammed.

I checked various self storage places in Queens before selecting the appropriate one for my use and identified CubeSmart . I called customer services and asked what were their prices for the unit size that I needed. They were patient and clear in explaining their rental offers . I choose one and asked for help so that I could do the agreement on line. They guided me through the process and I will was all set to move the items on a date needed . They sent me the confirmation via email and took my credit card as payment. In fact , I was able to set up an automatic monthly payment and also took one of their insurance offers . I Absolutely like CubeSmart on Cooper Avenue in Glendale Queens, it's a fairly new facility, the facility seems clean and well maintained, the staff are friendly, efficient and knowledgeable, I only wish the hours of operation were longer, maybe like a 7am - 7pm, or maybe even 8pm or 9pm for those of us who work until 5pm or later and need access to our storage units later in the evening, other than the hours of operation, I highly recommend CubeSmart on Cooper Avenue in Glendale Queens.

Overall the location was fine. Clean aside from the bathroom which was typically in awful shape, good condition, the staff very nice. There were some handful of issues at points when I was contacted about things that I possibly should not have been. Wish ed there was covered space to load and unload under. I was frustrated about hours of being open. I didn't look at hours when I went to get storage space - because it did not dawn on me to. In other areas I lived storage places were accessible 24 hours a day on all days of the year. I found their hours exceptionally limiting and then also knowing that on holidays you could not get in was surprising as well. By the last little bit of time if using space there the carts were locked up so that you needed to go tot he office and leave a license to use one. So I was grateful to get out of there because I had no idea why and wondered if there were security issues I was not aware of and wondered why they did not say something in one of their many emails I got over the time of using the space.
