I had to let her know that as a person who has worked in customer service for the last 32 years I’ve never insinuated to a customer that they lied. Workers close the unit 30 minutes before closing so they can get people out which is weird. Staff is friendly and they have a strict no eating policy! Needs to open up till closing time because contradicts what shows on internet!

I was here for 10 years almost and when I went to go thru my things everything was eating by rats or mice i don't know but the price started at 29 bucks a month and closing it out I was at 115 which was ridiculous for the same unit others told me they pat only 30 for 6 years so it was okay but prices and mice not okay but super friendly staff

I’ve been with them since it was treasure island and ever since CubeSmart took over it seems like every couple of months they keep raising the prices they wanna add more units to the outside but wanna raise our prices to pay for there renovation I think this is really unfair and if I did not live so close I would take my stuff out of this place

The storage itself and the staff are very nice. The only issue I have at this moment is that they installed a lot of storage units outside where it used to be parking space especially in the center of the parking area and now is incredibly difficult and dangerous to accommodate the cars when there are a lot of customers. It is creating kind of a hazardous condition for cars and people. I think installing the new storage lockers right in the middle of the parking lot was not a good idea. They really need to have this space free to create again better parking for customers.

I needed to get rid of items since we are hosting Christmas at the house. The lowest prices are for 5x5x4 lockers that are 8ft up. So you need a strong back to get up there. Some discrepancy on the prices, so check your receipt and make sure there is no funny business, have them print a draft quote if necessary. The assistant was very competent, so kudos for that.

Last minute I needed storage and I went online to CubeSmart websight. Reserved a storage Unit, when in 20 minutes I get a call from Andrew from CubeSmart on Liberty Ave in Queens NY to confirm I made the reservations. I went there and Andrew walked me thru the while process. So I got my unit and started to move stuff into it for storage. I grossly underestimated how much stuff I had . Went back to Andrew and he sorted it all out and I got what I needed. This place is secure, very clean and Andrew was and is the best. He is what made this experience less chaotic. Under new management. I've had many issues with this company in other states.They are not people friendly. They are honoring your old contract. No discounts for veterans. Active duty only get 5% monthly. This is new york state tax alone is over 8%. 10% is the standard for most storage places all over the country for active duty and veterans. I'm going to see how things go will update after the summer. wish me luck!

The place is relatively clean and organized and if it matters they have a loading doc and enough parking, the prices are not cheap but are comparable to other storage places. They have a lot of choices from small to very big rooms and they also have outdoor storage for easy access for commercial use. the only real complaint I have is that for some reason The gate access code they gave me sometimes didnt work. I had to bring this to their attention several times but I guess its a glitch in the system. One time i couldn't get through the gate and the office was closed, I called the number and it seemed like it was forwarded to the managers cellphone and she was nice enough to provide me with what seems like her or maybe employee entry code.

This is by far the most professional storage facility we've encountered. The staff is courteous, they gave us a tour and showed us our storage space. We would definitely recommend this facility. They explain everything in great detail. The storage has ramps, an elevator, push karts, they even have temporary locks if you don't have one until you bring yours. Thank you Treasure Island for being so accomodating.

The facility was immaculately clean and the various staff with whom I have interacted were polite, professional and extremely helpful. The only problem I had was that the size unit I needed was unavailable and I had to rent one that was much larger and more expensive than I needed. Nevertheless, my experience with Treasure Island staff was extremely positive and I will recommend it to anyone in my neighborhood looking for storage.

I missed when they were Treasure Island! They got rid of the transport vehicles to get items to and from storage. They are ridiculously over priced! You have to find a way to dispose of your unwanted items at your own expense! I miss Treasure Island and wish they would come back! Cubesmart is over priced and over exaggerated.

I've gone to storage centers before but this one is great. The manager Charles is friendly, personable and courteous. The staff is always will to help. Our unit was affordable and we were able to get it same day. Nothing negative to say about this place.

The Dream Experience, with Juwain Taylor and Mr.Nyerere. I had a reservation for a storage unit the other day, and what a perfect business transaction. When I came to the storage facility time frame was not my friend, but my two new friends. In a little less than 20 minutes, this dynamic duo impressed me. They checked me in faster time that I never had before, help me out filling paperwork, grabbed a very affordable lock for me, gave me a hand to place my things on carts. While she was multitasking in the reception, got me a better deal. Meanwhile, he was passing to me my boxes to put them in the new storage unit. Thank you so much. Well, now I’m moving to other city and my farewell was the same as when I came for the first time, Shaina and Aleena..wow..amazing as well..it’s only about attitude and these two guys nailed throughout a customer difficult times..thank you guys so much.

Awesome place! Very clean and amazing friendly staff ?? I use to live about 2 blocks away they gave me the truck to move for free and the first month was free as well! They have great prices and explained everything to me very thoroughly and also gave me a free bag with the paperwork explaining everything that they told me. I highly recommend them if you need to store your valuables. There are even storage units outside in large metal bin's that are accessable 24/7 and the facility is very well protected with tall iron gates that are code protected by the entrances and camera's everywhere inside and out. I have used a different storage facility in maspeth and almost lost all of my items because of mould and I am still fighting them. I had to end up taking them to court but I know my items are safe in Treasure island. The name fits them perfectly. Thank you Treasure island

Female customer service sucks so bad and misleading. Best to figure it out yourself, especially when its your first time using storage. The guys are not so bad. Besides from that woman. the location "Ozone park" I gave a 4 star because it is convenient, clean and the guys are courteous and helpful. 7/5/18. Getting to know people is not knowing them the first time. After a few months of using. I have to start moving my stuff. On more than one occasions where I could not use the bathroom which is always dirty anyways. lied to, The list goes on and on. I am sending back that $25.00 gift card I had gave away Not worth it. Like one would say. "It's not that serious." For those who is not there on a daily basis to see what customers had to go through. I remember this old lady talking to that duck guy and he just walked away ignoring her. "They are so rude" she said. I got 2 more storages and i got to get out of THERE soon. Zero star and i would NEVER recommend this place.

I'm wondering if the positive reviewers have been paid....because my experience has been well short of blissful at TI Storage. Pros: 1. Very clean. Always. The occasional paper on the floor etc. but I have to say that almost always this facility is well maintained. (bathroom is the exception to this rule) 2. The space is climate controlled, there is a good amount of parking space available so that you can easily load and offload things. Cons : 1. Terrible staff experiences. Heather, Wendy (who was initially nice and then wasn't), Juan......have been on many occasions rude, doing a shoddy job etc...and they just seem to shuffle them around locations. The new Managers Robert and Rose appear to be trying to make things better. 2. Not enough ladders. The ladders are heavy and often I have to wait because there are too few ladders and people just sit on the ladders for hours.....hoarding ladders. 3. Lack of honesty in pricing - I initially started on a promotion, but, it was not explained to me that my monthly fee would jump 33 % without warning after a few months!! And for the limited services being offered, and for the reasons mentioned above, I really feel that 33% hike was not warranted.

About a week ago, I moved to NYC from NJ for temporary relocation. I used Treasure Island Storage in the past and I found out that they also have another location in Queens. I rented a storage space for my winter stuff since spring is already here and I didn't have enough space in my small apt. Overall, the storage concierge was very helpful and assisted me will all my needs. The storage space was very clean and dust free.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean environment. Since this space is fairly new the yard is covered with screws nails and everything sharp so you have to be careful not to drive out with flat tires.
