I am very happy I have a temperature controlled unit but I liked the storage rooms that I've used in the past in which I can just drive up to the unit and unload. But, its very neat, clean and organized. There should be a couple garbage cans near the entrance.

I started renting with CubeSmart in September 2020. I had two units and I paid $300.95 per month. Fast forward the June 2024 and I'm now paying $584.00. That is an increase of 48% in just 3 years 9 months! I would have thought CubeSmart would have wanted long-term renters producing guaranteed revenue. I'm obviously wrong! I also had problems with mildew. It covered my wood and leather furniture and was even found in my stored leather purses. I guess CubeSmart really isn't CLIMATE CONTROLLED!! If you plan on storing long-term, this is not the place for you! The photo is the inside of one of my purses that had been in a protective bag in a box!

I would recommend Cubesmart all day long, everyday. Staff is great! Both Lisa and Kristin were very helpful, patient and ALWAYS kind! I loved that they always have plenty of move around carts to load all my stuff on. They were great!! Made it so easy to move things in and out. Very big to smaller ones. I wish I had taken pictures but maybe someone else will. I was there for 17 months, all of my items stayed in the same condition as they went in. And I had a little bit of everything, trust me! Seriously. No issues at all. Just an all around nice facility.

Beware when renting a space in this storage facility. When I brought my stuff in the storage unit almost 2 years ago, there was no mold on any of my stuff. Now there is magically mold on my furniture…hm. Clearly there is an issue with mold in this brand new, supposedly climate controlled facility based off multiple other reviews I’ve seen. On top of it, the insurance that they force you to purchase doesn’t even cover the damages. So now I’m out my furniture that can’t be replaced because “the policy does not provide coverage”. What the hell is the point of the insurance then? They’ve had no problem raising the rent though twice now since I’ve been there with zero notice despite them telling me they’ve sent letters notifying me of this. Update: I am so grateful that I was able to move out of this storage unit today. I of course had to throw away most of my furniture because of mold growth that they of course refuse to take responsibility for. The lady in the office was less than helpful, nor compassionate like everyone else in that office. Climate controlled my behind. Please remove that sign from your building and advertising pronto. The cost of rent has raised astronomically in my time renting from them on a number of different occasions, in which they never notify you, though they will of course claim they did. You only find out when the price has gone up when your get your monthly statement. I will NEVER ever rent from them again or recommend anyone rent from them. The only recommendation I will make is stay far far away from this “business”.

I reserved a 10 ft unit in a brand new, large storage facility that’s corporate owned, off of busy Transit Rd., in Lockport. During the summer months, the storage facility skimped on the A/C and lighting. When it’s very humid and dark, mold sets in. In addition, no lights outside the deserted, spooky back of the facility at night. Not safe for women. Moreover, the storage rent increased $15.

If I could I would leave 0 stars. We were there a year. Checked our storage about every 3 to 4 months. There was slight flooding in the back of building. We were told our unit was safe. Then tada mold on half of our stuff. The insurance they make you get doesn't even cover the damages. Also still had water in build when removing items. Horrible place

If I could, I’d give zero stars. Mold grew on my items & forced me to move out in 22* weather, no reduction in rent, insurance only covers for natural disasters. No dolly’s in this huge storage facility, contacted 800#, the excuse was the construction workers moved it. No construction on Sunday, dolly’s were there Saturday night. I created my own dolly. Took photos of mildew, submitted to mgr, no response. Good riddance.

Very pleasant experience renting “a Cube”. Started with early phone call with National call center. Able to secure a spot and Pre register. Very efficient and easy. Lindy at S. Lockport, NY location was very thorough and thoughtful. She gave us the best possible location and helped us in may ways. AND what a clean and bright facility. Location is great, prices are reasonable, but the best was being assisted by Lindy.

The employee by the name of Lindy is quite amazing. We were moving from an apartment to a house and had to quickly put half of our belongings in store and the process with Cubesmart was quick and easy.
