I would like to comment on Cube Smart. Located in Riverhead on Mill Rd. As well as the manager Louis. I didn't have any knowledge on renting a storage unit. The manager Louis took the time to explain the hole process of renting a storage unit. I found it quite refreshing that I found someone that new his job. Every time I would stop by my storage unit Louis would always greet me. If you are looking for a storage unit in Riverhead stop by Cube Smart and talk to Louis.

Since I booked the unit online in Florida, my sister who lives near CubeSmart in Riverhead used her vehicle to load the first unit I rented. It turned out not to be big enough and we wanted another bigger unit near that one. I called and explained the situation and the staff was very accommodating. My experience was very pleasant because of the manager there. I filled out my information online and he contacted me right away to follow up with any questions or concerns that I had when I went there in person he help me select the right size for my belongings and was very kind and personable. I went to the riverhead location and suggest that if you need a quick and streamline experience to go there yourself.

Was great once, but that place is lie. Sent our rent by mail because we have life issues that can't get there as often. Then suddenly discover not once, but two times our rent sent by mail was ripped and sent back to our mailing address in a letter sent from the post office. The first time, we thought it was accidental and told the company and they understood and sent that rent with next month with two checks, but instead the same issue happened. Once can be accident, but two different times shows something very rotten. After that, by their own contract we lost everything. I am not sure what happened, but I will never trust this company again and will everyone to avoid it by telling our story.

Renter beware. There is no visible security. Last year, a homeless man started a fire in one of the units. After the loss, prices have continued to increase, yet there appears to be no cameras anywhere. We moved out.

Johnny was your manager,and he was great from start to finish.I needed the contents of my guest house removed for about a month,and then moved back after renovations.Cubesmart had a "1st month free" promotion,so I had a 2 month contract and only paid for 1 month--thank you. I had this unit for three years. My rate went up in June of this year and I never received any notification of the increase. Additionally I discovered that my the unit became infested with roaches, mice and other insects damaging items beyond repair. If you’re considering using a storage facility DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Terrible customer service and horrible conditions in the unit.

I just rented 2 units at CubeSmart on Mill Road in Riverhead, NY and the experience was extremely satisfying. Making the reservation on-line was easy but the real positive was the service by the local manager, Louis.
