We just got a unit about 3 weeks ago. Not enough carts, and the few you have are only accessible when the office is open. So tough luck if you need one 7:00 AM or 8 PM. Y'all have to do better in that regard.

I am giving this location 1 star because they need to improve on their communication as well as customers service. I haven't been at this location long, maybe a year or less. But in this short time Information has be shared with me that has not been correct and this impacted my pockets. And instead of being viewed as a valuable customer you are just a locker number. A placement. I have been showed and offered units and upon me paying I am directed to a different unit that does not match my criteria. And then I voice my concern and all staff does is finger blame other staff members. If this can be improved upon I would consider changing my review and adding stars until then. I recommend people choose a different location or company.

The staff are very friendly. Environment is very clean and gives a relaxed atmosphere. I could sit on the ground and just meditate. When I moved to come to cubesmart, I have no idea where I was going to live. But God provided. I'm going back home to my country.. so I no longer needed the items. So I gave them away. Thanks guys for providing the space and protecting each and everyone property.

My son's storage unit got robbed. Bought the insurance when he got his unit. Was told there was no proof that his unit was robbed bc the lock was picked and put back on so that it looked as if no one went into it. There are limited surveillance cameras on each floor. When he spoke with the police they showed him a video of his unit getting robbed but that was not good enough for the insurance company. So he is out over four thousand dollars worth of stuff. Buyer beware......Make sure you get a cylinder lock and two other locks for the unit. He had to do that to have a piece of mind.

I thank the manager for taking me at the last minute, assisting me and ensuring my rental was smooth. He did an amazing job. Storage unit was clean had no problems. You do need more carts to bring them in. Suggestion hide Apple Tags so they don't disappear! Have a great day!

The place is clean easy accessible and price is good. I gave it 4 because I think it should give access til 11 or 12 pm not 10pm because some people do get of work late and might need to grab some stuff. The only negative thing they don't have enough carts to help with the moving

It’s upsetting that in a huge facility like the one on Merrick in valley stream, there are only 2 carts to help you move your things into the unit. And the staff says oh well people take the carts. That’s not helpful at all !!!

Make sure you ask what the rate is going to be when all the discounts and promotions are over. The people at the counter are going to tell you they don't know what you going to be paying. Sounds like they get you in there on the low, and then hit you in the head down the road. Very suspicious. And just to let you know, they never open according to the time on the website, they open when someone shows up.

Service and location are good but be mindful that if you want to use a cart you have to go when the office is open. All carts are locked and you have to leave your ID at the office to get a key.

If I could give this place 1/2 Star I would. Customer service here is so horrible. Please don’t look at convenience and location when considering this storage unit. The staff here is so horrible, very lazy unhelpful at all. God forbid there is an emergency, you are better off getting help from a stranger than anyone that works there. Worst storage unit.

All these units and CubeSmart doesn't even have one rolling staircase to assist customers in getting into the top storage closets. I have to climb up on the unstable dolly to get up there. It's almost a deal breaker for me. Thinking of moving to the storage across the street for that reason alone. Edit: Now I'm mad. Dolly's are chained up and the office is closed so you can't have access to them. Not to mention, my unit is at the opposite end of the building (to the office). So i have to walk to one end to get it, walk back to the end of the building and do that again to return it and retrieve my driver's license. The last time i was here, the lady in the office said it's self storage so they don't have to office anything ????? Frustrated!

(Already rodent infested) I'm really sorry that I have to leave a poor review. I chose this facility because it had large units, was brand new, looked in great shape from outside. We literally just brought our belongings back into our home yesterday only to discover 6 baby mice living in a box. 1 got out and is not yet caught. We now need to call an exterminator for something that is not our fault. This is truly a major disappointment for a location that has not even been open for a year yet. Not cool.

Everything has been good so far. Only thing is a sock fell in between the elevator door which caused me to be stuck in the elevator. No one was in the office so I got the voicemail. And the call button for the fire department was t working. Luckily I was with someone and they realized the sock was stuck and the doors opened after they removed the sock.

Cubesmart is a SCAM!!! They lured me in by claiming they're giving me a promotional price for a few months and more than doubled my rent from $225 to $579 on all 4 units even after speaking to numerous managers and supervisor who promised to work with me.. Cubesmart DOES NOT care for its customers, Regardless of me being the first loyal customer since they opened, all they care about is money!!
