There's something special about this place & a positive energy emanates from the building itself! The facility is immaculate, everything's shiny & clean (the floors, bathrooms, office, etc.) The best part are the guys that run things, they're too kind & have helped me resolved a variety of issues during the move. The climate control is great for my musical instruments, which are my most prized possessions. Just an over-all safe location & gives me peace of mind knowing my *precious worldly possessions* are well kept. Would give 6 or more stars!

Do NOT rent space from these crooks! They have raised my rent at least 3 times in the last 2 years. My monthly rate is now $125 more than when I first started renting with them. They also openly told me that if I was to start a new contact today, my monthly rent would be $54 less than what I am currently paying. The lack of ethics and integrity is astounding. When I discussed the matter with the store manager, they basically told me they couldn't do anything and as courtesy they reached out to the district manager. So the customer service leaves something to be desired as well.

I just want to warn everyone that this is a bait and switch business model!! They lure customers in with a seemingly low price (the "bait") and then switch to significantly higher prices after you’ve committed (the "switch"). The “no contract” sounds great, but it’s actually a scam because they can raise rents on you whenever. I tried to offer to prepay for the year to lock in the rate and they said “you can do that, but you will have to pay the difference when we raise the rent”. So slimy. They know you don’t want to move your stuff and take advantage of their customers. Go to a mom and pop place, not a corporate storage unit like this one.

Rarely do I leave bad reviews but today is a must. They lost a customer due to lack of professionalism and disrespect, from their gm, Chad. I set up a reservation 2 days ago to rent a unit at this location, store #5955. Chad was the person working there this past afternoon, I explained to him that I was transferring from one unit to another and may need to upgrade to an even larger unit depending on how much additional space I’ll need. There was an issue with the current unit I was going to be moving from, I explained and stepped aside to wait for it to be addressed. Another customer comes in as I’m stepping aside, to wait. Chad then says to me “you need to stand outside, so that I can leave and help this customer”. WE ARE AT THE FRONT DESK AND CUSTOMER WAITING AREA. Why would I, a would-be customer, stand outside of the establishment, in 30 degree weather, when the office hours are open and this is what this area is designed for?? And when I asked Chad why we need to leave while he helps the customer, his response was “BECAUSE WE KEEP A LOT OF CASH AND COMPUTERS AROUND” …you know what he was insinuating. (And ironically, 30 seconds later, he solved the other customer’s problem without having to leave the desk) I obviously canceled my reservation request after that situation and will go elsewhere. Not sure if Chad is the main decision maker but the way he acted earlier today , I’m sure it wasn’t his first or last time. I hate that , that was the experience I had with what seemed to be a pretty nice facility. Hope no one else encounters the same

This storage facility is raping me along with probably the whole building! Classic bait and switch. Rents go up every other month it seems. I moved to this rental after leaving another facility that I had used for over 5 years! Simply because it was closer to me. I should have stayed where I was. Im a great customer, paid on time continually. Now I’ve got to move my shit again! Dont rent here. As a matter of fact don’t rent from ANY big name facility. Go local mom and pop places. That’s where I’m headed. To someplace that values long term customers. I feel like if you’re paying to rent a storage spot and you’re a long term customer some grace should be given. Renting here has been a BIG mistake! Seriously don’t rent here. You will be sorry. Unless you’re ok with doubling (at the very least) your rent every 2-3 months. Bad choice!!!!!!!! I cant even begin to explain the 4.9 rating. More in the area of a 2 star. That’s what they got. 2 stars and that’s pushing it. ??

To begin with your staff. We went to the first Bee Safe and the size unit we needed was not available. She reserved and directed us to Chad at store # 5955. He showed us the size and was able to find another unit close by for the additional space that we required. After paperwork and payments were concluded he took us to the units. Immaculate facility! On the day the movers arrived, he made sure that the doors would assist them in delivering everything expeditiously. When loading was complete, he made sure that everything went well and that he could now secure the building. You have a trifecta at your facilities. Excellent buildings, good pricing and superlative staff. Thank you !

Great facility. Looked at five storage providers in the area and this one on Campbell Road had the best deal! Clean facility and easy access! Clean restrooms. I’ve rented three units over the past 3 years and this is far and away the best. Truck rental is a plus as well. Staff is courteous and knowledgeable! I’m currently renting a space, I spoke with Mr. Paul is very professional and explained everything in great detail and gave me a tour of the building. They are super clean and they are the only storage place that I know that will let you store wine. I appreciate the convenience along with being able to use their moving truck. For more information on that you can call and speak with someone, but the process is super simple. This is not a contract, it will be month to month.

Update: only six months later I received another rate increase for a total of 44% in less than one year. I could not recommend this storage facility to anyone. Beware Bee safe will increase rates after you move in. I rented a unit in Nov23 for $155/month and I received a notice that my rent would increase to $188/month just four months later, a 13% increase in rent! Per the contract, they permit themselves to raise rents as they please, so be aware before you rent from Bee safe!

I checked into the office this morning to sign the paperwork. Paul made it so easy and afterwards gave me a quick tour and explained everything. The facilities are very clean and easily accessible to my unit. I am glad to have chosen Bee Smart and this location. I had previously used another storage facility but this one beats it hands down. Yes, you have to get a lock there but the neat thing is there is no shackle that can be cut. $20 was the charge, a good padlock would have been a little cheaper but with not the same security. Thanks Paul for the seamless experience this morning! If your looking for a storage place you should look at Bee Smart and weigh your options. I am glad I did!

BUYER BEWARE We researched this facility in-depth and reserved a space as far out as possible (15 days) to make things easier for our move. During a visit to the location and a tour, we asked every question we could think of to try to understand exactly how much we’d be paying per month. On the day before we were slated to move our things in, we got a notice we could pay online. The price we were asked to pay was nearly $90 more per month than what we had been quoted. There was an admin charge, a charge to rent a lock (can’t bring your own) an insurance charge, and the base price was higher. On top of that, the facility can raise your rent without notice if you’re not paid a year in advance. We ended up renting with Life Storage down the road because they were much more up front about costs and almost $100 cheaper per month. This was a super shady experience all around and people should be aware of the hidden costs. It’s also interesting that all of the reviews are about the initial meeting and not the rental experience or space itself, suggesting these reviews are incentivized.

Simple and Understandable slash cozy and colorful. Unfortunately I have to Take star off because after 6 months in they slowly but surely increased my pay little by little when I have probably the smallest Space. It's Understandable everything has gone but man that was quick.

When I relocated from the DMV (DC, MD, VA) area, I decided to store my belongings at Bee Safe Storage. Aaron was very helpful and accommodating every step of the way. I initially reserved a 10’ x 20’ climate controlled unit, but then grew concerned that the unit would not be large enough to suit my needs. I called Bee Safe Storage and talked to Aaron who suggested a convenient and affordable solution, reserve a smaller unit close by the larger one and if I did not need it, I could cancel the reservation without penalty. Super smart idea! Aaron accommodated me by reserving spaces very close to the door and he also guided me through the online process so that I could compete my reservations and obtain my access code in advance because I knew that I would not arrive at the facility before closing time. When I arrived the next morning, Aaron and his colleague came outside to greet me, he remembered me by name, and he made sure that the door was open so that I did not have to enter my access code every time the door closed. Aaron’s helpfulness made my relocation so much easier and I am thankful for Aaron’s attentiveness and assistance. Thanks Aaron!

The staff is extremely helpful! We have been there twice to finalize our rental (we started online), and to schedule the use of the truck. The facility is easy to get in and out of.

What a great facility and AWESOME management! I met with the managers, Ayana and Aaron, last Friday. Both very professional. The facilities are clean, cheerful, well-lit, and climate controlled with security cameras everywhere. There are bathroom facilities and moving carts available to the customers - a big change from the last place I rented a storage unit from. Pricing is reasonable. Today I came back and signed the contract, and worked with Ayana. Such a nice professional. She answered all of my questions with pleasant patience. She gave service with a smile, and made me feel like a valued customer! I don't often see customer service like that anymore. I am looking forward to a long and happy relationship with this company.

What a pleasant experience it was to rent here! She answered and had me set up in under 10 minutes!! When I went to my unit I was so shocked at how clean, well maintained and comfortable the place was. I sure wish more storage places would take lessons.
