Clean units easy rental process great staff. Sadly my first evening loading the unit, when I left to get more items, the security doors closed behind me. My leather couch was on a dolly in the hallway inside the doors and access denied after 10pm. So my leather couch sat in hallway all night until I could gain access to building at 6AM next day.

Friendly people, but be ware of their pricing. They will get you in at a good price, raise the rate at 2 months and then again 6 months later. I've had 2 units at different times and this business practice appears to be consistent. This seems to be their mode of operations, so expect to be paying a lot more than what you pay your first few months.

I have a cube at location in Kernersville. I think it's trashy that I am moving to a cube on Broad St because of the price..... The cube itself is descent . The employees r nice when first moving in, but attitudes change Covid messed things up. I was hoping things would go back to way it was prior to Covid, but attitudes stay the same-fake. 3 stars are for the cube. Cube only.

Subject: Incident Report Regarding Security Concerns Hello, my name is Cheryl Smith, and along with my partner Kelly Davis, we have purchased two units from Bee Safe. I have a unit in Greensboro ( Beesafe Battleground), while Kelly has ours in Winston Salem at 110 S Broad St. Today, around 10:40 AM, I arrived and opened the doors to access my unit. A man approached from the street, entered without a code, and immediately went up the elevator. I waited, feeling uneasy as I was alone and the storage facility had not yet opened. The man did not return. When Bee Safe opened at 11:00 AM, I spoke with Mars Gwynn about the incident. Unfortunately, she was dismissive and rude, stating, “He didn’t break in; he just went to the 2nd floor.” When I asked if she knew him, she replied no. I expressed my discomfort as a woman alone, to which she responded condescendingly, “What do you want me to do about it?” For someone who is hired as a manager and proudly shows your card proving it, Any action would have been expected other than looking and acting like an angry goth teen hiding her boyfriend at your place of employment for starters. I informed her that if no action was taken, I would call the police. I also urged her to be more professional in her demeanor. As I was on the phone with the police, Mars emerged from the building with the man, who was holding a painting. I informed the police that it seemed she was familiar with him. I wanted to bring this to your attention as I feel strongly about the need for improved security and professionalism in handling such situations. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Great staff - friendly and helpful, good facilities though a bit compact; narrow halls mostly. The dollys provided are too long to maneuver narrow halls and turns, the handles pull out/aren’t secured and the turning wheels are on the opposite side of handle. Twice the storage of previous providers at 60% of previous rate.

App is useful/helpful, but you can always get a helpful on-site staff person on the phone or to call you right back if you need them (a big plus in a world where most companies never let a local person speak to you). I am leaving a bad review because I called to talk to top district manager and no one called me back about my concerns. The manager Ms Michelle was trying to help me. She sent an email out and she was helpful as much as she could so she I would give a five star. But the business going up on prices like they do, shows they don’t value customers. Even from a time before this one. I tried to talk to top manager about price increase. It’s crazy of the increase. My unit I had was too much so I downsize and after a few months that smaller unit price went up to the price I was paying for the bigger unit I had first. That was way too much of an increase. It’s almost like they don’t care, just about getting money. The district man told me from my very first complaint that it was a business they are running. He had no concern of my concerns I complained about even then. It’s not worth paying that much of an increase and having your unit increase as often as they do. If you’re on a fix income keep going cause you will be in a bind trying to figure out what you’re going to do with your stuff. Thanks Springs a customer that just moved my stuff out because of this extreme price increase.

I rented the storage unit at Bee Safe in Winston-Salem. Firstly, I got a good price and very nice clear customer service. Online process and offers are really good for this place. Next, the entire space is so clean and well maintained! It’s really a pleasure to walk in there. And finally, the storage units are really good in maintaining conditions best for storage. I found out through experience. When I rented the place, I wanted to put some of my kitchen stuff and clothing there for a few months-about 3-6 months. It turned out that I had to leave them there for over a year-about 15 months. Pleasant surprise! When I opened my boxes, everything including the dry groceries that I had put in were intact after that long! That was a testament to the efficacy of the storage facility’s temperature and other conditions. Moving out was easy as well. Staff return phone calls and messages in a timely manner and are very polite, helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you for a rewarding experience!

Have never seen such a stylish storage facility. I realize that it is brand new, but they still put a lot of effort into the building. Easy to complete the application online with multiple clear options available and the attendant was very helpful. Update: We cleared our our storage unit as we finally sold our house and were moving out of the area. Discovered that we had just paid for another 1 month lease less than 24 hours beforehand. Jeff and his supervisor were willing to work with us on our situation and we greatly appreciate all of their help. Still cannot get over the classical music placing throughout the facility which is such a nice touch. Well done!

This is the worst storage company in the entire nation my monthly storage fee went from $96.00 a month to a whopping $207.00 a month , if it’s late more than a month the price is over $659.00 or they will take your belongings. Very Sad, I would not advise anyone to use this storage Company called Bee Safe, There upper management is Price gouging and they do not respect customers and will not make a arrangement to help you if you’re in a difficult situation. Bee Safe Storage is fabulous! We have used this facility to store my college students belongings over summer breaks the past couple years. Pricing is very affordable and much cheaper than other options. The facility is exceptionally clean and everything is in great working order. The building is secure and safe. The climate control is a temp near 70 and not humid. Our items were in great shape, no storage type odors or dust. The staff is kind, accommodating, and helpful. I cant recommend this storage facility high enough!

I rented my unit 1028 back in September where it was a completely contactless transaction and recently vacated the space. The customer service agent over the phone sold me on a temperature controlled unit because we needed to store electonics, art drafting tables and musical equipment like guitars and amps but insisted that in order to continue the contactless process I needed to get the insurance they offer. I later discovered via the insurance booklet at the location I did not need to get the insurance in order to get the unit. The customer service in person was great that is not the issue. The issue is that with extreme weather conditions my property was not protected. The glass on our drafting table broke and our guitar was warped with the only explanation being that the temperature in our unit was not above 55 degrees. I just got off the phone with the director saying he can only guarantee that temperature is above 55 in the winter and below 80 degrees in the summer. However, he states they only do audits once a month and could not tell me if he has records showing that these temperatures were consistent during the last two weeks of extreme cold temperatures. If you are a musician/artist with expensive equipment I advise you DO NOT use this facility to store your items/electronics/instruments. This is a location better suited for those who need to only store clothes, books, toys, household items. I would recommend a more established location. The insurance also is useless unless you think a hurricane will knock down that brick building. That's the perils coverage they mentioned when putting a claim in. The other issue is the cylinder lock that is required to be purchased for $20 to use the unit. They sell you how the cylinder lock erases your deductible for the insurance which again was useless in our situation. The lock is very secure but makes the insurance not necessary to protect against theft unless someone actually breaks through the metal door.
