My friends told me that the best and safest place to park my truch was CubeSmat on Roberts Rd. This is where I got to meet Cam, the GM, he welcomed me and asked how he can help me. After sharing with him my needs, he suggested we go around to see the best fit for my truck. We decided on a spot and went back to the office to complete my rental. He was so pleseant and went over every detail. When we were done with the lease, he asked me to down load the CubeSmart app which was a very easy process. Explained how to use it and the benefit it has. I thanked him for the help. I highly recommend CubeSmart for parking or storage needs. You will experience what I experienced. Went to get boxes during open hours. Place was locked up with a will return by sign. Waited past the return time with no one showing up. Gave up and went to U-Haul and got the boxes. I don't know how their storage is, but if you're after moving supplies I say skip it and go to uhaul.

The price you're quoted online is different than what you pay when you get there due to new rental fees like for a lock and key, so be prepared to pay a little more. They have a great selection and several different size units. There's indoor and outdoor units. Very clean and well kept. They are a gated location so you have to have your passcode to enter which was the selling point for us. You can set up auto pay which is what we did. They take the payment on your due date. Not before like some places do. The people who work there are friendly and willing to help in any way they can. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the price difference. Would definitely recommend

The lady that helped me set up my unit was amazing. My only concern is when will they raise their prices for a price hike other than to make me feel trapped into paying it so I have somewhere to store my stuff. I have seen a lot of reviews about the sudden increase of prices for no apparent reason. So that’s my reason for 3 stars…. the unknown fear of having a price increase.

I had to file a complaint against them with the Better Business Bureau, because I canceled by phone, email and finally in person between over the course of between seven and four days before my requested start date, but they refused to return my $175 for no reason. Their paperwork includes binding arbitration clauses, meaning they can and will steal your money and you have no recourse against them.

Don’t believe other reviews! My catalyst converter of my vehicle got stolen at this location. When confronted the manager he was so defensive to the point that I believe he is the one behind my vehicle being stolen. Go and read other low reviews to confirm that Rob is…., Refused to show me video tapes to find who did it then I hired a lawyer to find out. Yes it’s cheap but no security at all. You get what you pay for. (Although after 3 months of the contract, he changed the price unlike to what we signed on!)

Stay away if you value your property!! July 17th there was an armed rober at this site, then just recently my boss had $50,000 worth of equipment stollen out of the garage. They often leave the gates wide open cause the key pads stop working. Walk inside some time, the camera system there is terrible. Like I said we had equipment stollen and staff is not willing to help at all. Apparently if you rent here you need to buy your own alarm and camera system to protect your stuff. Because of the amount of problems here I never enter the gate without a loaded gun. For a while there were a few people living in a storage unit. Manager tried to argue with me saying this is a safe place, there has never been any thefts, no one lives here, they check every night.... No they don't, in the summer I'm there moving equipment around at 1am almost every night, never seen any staff members at that time. You can still see parts of the exit gate laying next to the fence from when someone rammed it, and they're trying to say there's never been a problem.

Cubesmart is well run, kept reasonably clean and the staff are good to work with. My beef is more about their pricing policy. I moved to Cubesmart in January 2020. Since that time the annual fee has increased 20-30% PER YEAR, every year. It has gone up over 50% in 2 years just like death and taxes! There’s just no rationale argument that makes sense out of that. Just wait, after they read this review, they will try to justify it. Let’s be clear, these facilities ALL have very low on-going cost of operations. Small staffs, low utility costs, big, big, way big profits. Their main costs are cost of construction, real estate taxes and utilities. They know after offering a low move in price to attract you in year 1, you won’t want to hassle with moving your stuff, so what do they do? They raise the price, because they know they can and most people will just pay the bill. Here’s my advice - if the value of the items you are storing is less than the cost of the storage - seriously consider finding other ways to store, sell, donate or dispose of the items you are planning to store. Look at it this way - the cost of the items you are storing - goes up every month when you pay the storage bill. So after a year of payments, if the value of the items you are storing isn’t more than the cost of the storage, you lost money. Just my .02. Which I now have more of since I just moved out!

Very expensive but Im locked in.. The price has TRIPPLED since CubeSmart took over..... Its really sad. They don't value loyalty and my never-late payment history.. it feels like I've been punished instead. I have a business that has operated out of there for 15 years.. Long standing clients should be rewarded. Really, I just feel exploited.

We have been a customer for 8+ years of this location. We set up our service when Morningstar owned this location and never had a single problem - they were great! We have had nothing but problems since Cubesmart bought the property. We have been robbed SEVERAL times! We are paying for 24 HOUR SURVEILLANCE. Each time we call the office, they tell us there are no security cameras on the back lot and there is nothing they can do. Each time we tell them we are paying for 24 hour surveillance and and we expect them to make sure all cameras are working. They refuse to rectify this issue. Once again, we called them to tell them we have fired an employee and need to change the gate code. They told us that we couldn't do it and would need to come in personally but Rob (the manager - who could truly care less about customers) said he was headed out to the bank - wouldn't wait for us (even though we were 10 minutes away) because he had to go to the back wouldn't be back for an hour. In that hour our former employee showed up and shattered every windshield of every one of our company trucks. We called the police and asked Rob to work with the police - he again said he wouldn't provide ANY video to the police because there wasn't any. Then he proceeded to lecture us because of the items when had in our units (which by the way shouldn't matter because we are paying to rent that space) Bottom line - DO NOT WORK WITH CUBESMART - THEY COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!!! Especially Rob, the manager! He is horrible and does not care!!

Love the place. Alot more resonable about their prices. They free tru k helped a ton when we need bring our furniture. They are vary sweet and helpful roberts road location is one i use. When i ran in to issues with my storage unit where door was having trouble. They fixed it but still had issues so gave me new unit and helped me move to it. With all crap i had i needed the help. They help you when you need it. Ps also out of my 10 years of bousing from storage to storage this first one that i had tjat dont have any pest issues. Always update on their traps and spraying. They thrive on lookin good.

The office staff is nice and willing to do all they can to help "as long as corporate says it's okay." They are planning price increases across the board... I've rented there for 10 years (outlasted 4 owners and 9 managers).. these people do not care to reward loyality.... SO I MOVED 90% OF MY BUSINESS OFF SITE and REDUCED MY COST EQUALLY. God I hope they read this....... But I will say that they are taking care of the place.. so... 4 stars.

MARITZA WAS GREAT BUT NEW MANAGER ON THIS FACILITIES ARE THE WORST THEY DONT HAVE ANYTHING TO BE IN COSTUMER SERVICE. In October 2015, I rented a space at this facility and I felt very comfortable because Maritza, the manager, provided me with awesome service. Another big plus for me is that she speaks spanish, wich made the process of renting much easier for me. Since then, whenever I need anything I ask her for assistance and she does so effectively and diligently. The storage is a safe place and I never had any problems.

I visited this CubeSmart on july 2, 2015 whilst looking for storage units in the Columbus area. The minute I walked into the Roberts Rd. facility I was greeted by manager Maritza and was immediately impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. After explaining my needs, I was shown a couple of units which I found to be clean and well maintained. Again, I can't say enough about this facility and its friendly, competent staff. Highly recommended!

I would give the Roberts road location a 10 out of 10 they have great people working there and they was very helpful when I fell on hards times and couldn't pay my storage on time they are a great group of people and I would refer them too friends and family .
