Absolutely terrible! They rope you in with a reasonable price for your unit and then after 60 days you're continually getting notices on a rate change, increasing your rates with increases that are not even reasonable. I have five units with them and the biggest ones you can get at that. Pathetic! I would not recommend CubeSmart to anybody....ever!! They bait you and then take you to the cleaners with ridiculous rate changes...terrible business practices. Zero Stars!!!

I just rented a storage unit here and was very impressed with this location. Rob made the signing process very easy and was great to work with. The property looks brand new and the storage unit itself was perfect. I saved money switching to this company and so far it seems like the right decision.

After 4 months my wife and I would like to update our review, 3/18/25, for the benefit of any senior citizen who might be on a fixed income. Be aware that you are signing a month to month contract. After 4 months we received an email notice that our monthly rate was being raised by 24%. We were not prepared for this significant price increase. Other than this price increase everything that we wrote below still stands. We signed up online 11/6/24 for a Cube Smart climate controlled unit 2 weeks ago. This Cube Smart facility is only 2 years old. It is clean and well maintained. It is open 6 AM to 10PM. Access code is necessary to enter/exit facility and to enter the building. All units are ground level. Climate control is offered at the standard 55 degrees in winter and 80 degrees in summer. Bright LED motion detection lighting in the hallway and a light in the individual unit. Electrical box is accessible in the hallway. Unit door opens like a garage door. There are wide driveways between buildings. One hand truck is available per building but you may have to go look for it. An assortment of packing materials such as boxes, tape, etc. are available in the office. Before we officially moved in and paid our administrative fee we met the on sight office manager, Cynthia. She showed us the unit we would be renting. Cynthia was very pleasant, friendly and answered all of our questions both prior to and since renting and moving items to our unit. We would definitely recommend this storage facility.

Initially we were being helped by a lady name Michelle I believe. she did not need to be working alone she didn’t know much about the system. also a bit rude bc she was ready to go but it took her 30mins to figure out how to change the resv. so she had to phone a friend. she asked “how long is this going to take” when looking for a email we never received.. but I was very pleased when I came the next day and Russ was there very helpful, kind and efficient so I decided to keep my business here bc of him. Thanks Russ

Clean storage facility with friendly customer assistance. No issues thus far with the storage unit. Dolly always available close to the rented storage unit for help with moving belongings. Good security: entry, exit, and inside storage unit accessible with unique access provided during sign-up. Inside storage units have motion activated lights, helpful for locating items your after or other smaller items. Required to purchase a lock, which costs $19.99 - only draw back (comes with three keys which is helpful).

Posting for a friend who wrote a review and it is now being hidden. Cube Smart: They are attempting to hide my factual review without responding to it. It is not publicly available, so therefore I have reached out to my numerous friends to re-post and make the consumer aware of their failure to remedy. I will continue to do this until the merchant publicly responds and compensates me appropriately. Simply marking my review as private and hiding it from the public eye demonstrates this company's commitment to ignoring genuine customer complaints and not customer service. Therefore, enjoy my previously posted, and hidden review yet again. While the facilities may be new and nice, they failed to notify us in the contract, in person, via a posted sign, website, pamphlet or any other imaginable form of communication that if you are in the facility past 10pm.....even a nanosecond after.....you will be locked inside with no means of getting out. My car was locked inside their facility as I tried to exit with my pass code around 10:03 PM. leaving only a pedestrian exit for me to get out. I had to pay for an Uber both ways to get home and return in the morning to get my car. I left multiple messages with their local and national line. NO ONE has bothered to reach out to me to compensate me or even apologize for this apparent oversight. If the policy is to lock an exit gate after hours despite having valid credentials to open the gate, you need to make a much better effort to educate your customer. Not only that, but have a much better failsafe in place than utilizing public resources to solve your poor planning issues. Police have much better things to attend to than your unwillingness to plan ahead. Customer service/support is a massive part of any business. No matter how good the product. If your service is disorganized and ends up holding your customer's property hostage, forcing them to incur expenses for the merchant's poor communication, then what good is your product? Additionally, accidents happen. But the zero effort remedy to this is pretty appalling. The only solution I was offered well after 11 was from their online chat bot who advised me to call the police. Very helpful. Do better Cube Smart. This is going to make our 11 month relationship kind of awkward, but that's on you.

Shout out to Tamika for being very professional and also relatable. She made the process of renting a storage unit fun and seamless. As for CubeSmart, they have great prices, and your choice is between 35% off continuously or your first month free. My only suggestion would be to have magnetic door holders, timer controlled , so you can load your stuff in without having to enter your code and each time.

I checked a lot of storage units, and this is the best in the Worthington area. Out new unit is clean, dry, well lighted and safe. Not only that we cut the drive time in half, and are saving money over our previous (competitor's) unit. Tamika is just a pleasure to work with. She was friendly, very helpful, and got me set up in our new unit very quickly. Thank you!

Clean facility, nice people who work there, but the price hike from the time I got the unit until now was over 50% increase in 2 years. It is in a very safe area and maybe worth that, but I could not afford it.
