We rented a unit yesterday (Saturday, April 12th). My family and friends loaded up 3 vehicles today (Sunday, April 13th). When we arrived at CubeSmart Extion, PA, our access code would not work. We spoke to Stephanie for 20-30 min while she tried to contact the store manager with no success. She asked us to call again if we did not hear from the store manager within 10-15 min. We ran an errand and tried again 45 min later at which point we spoke with Crystal. Crystal asked us to call back again, so we did and spoke with Linda. After another 20+ min, Linda was not able to provide access to our new storage unit. It is now 4:52PM and we still have not heard anything. We inconvenienced family and friends on Sunday which is horrible. We are off to a very disappointing start to say the least! We trust that the manager will make this right for us.

I was given a very thorough and detailed tour of the storage facility, including the unit I was about to rent as well as the elevator and the location of the carts to be able to bring boxes and other items into and out of the unit when necessary. The staff was so friendly and took every opportunity to answer my questions thoroughly. They made the signup process very smooth and handled everything in a very streamlined way.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Went this weekend to clean my unit out so I wouldn't have to pay another month rent and both elevators were down. And when I explained this to them and that I probably can't get back before the end of the month their response was basically too bad. Also everyone should know their idea of climate control is 50 degrees. Will pay extra to go literally anywhere else next time

The entire experience was simple. The facility was very clean with easy in and out access. The entire facility inside and out was secured and the inside was nicely temperature controlled. It's the first time we've used one of these and we had it for 5 months in between selling a house and building one and it was a piece of cake. I'd use cubesmart again in an instant.

I'm rather disappointed here. They keep raising the price on us and their gate is constantly not working. The gate that safeguards the building was broken for months straight, So they had to leave it open for months. This made me very uneasy and made me feel as if my belongings were less safe. Especially for how much I pay, I expect all safeguarding technologies to work. I expressed this to the employees and they flat out told me that the company does not care how I feel and that they won't do anything to make me feel better about it. Immensely disappointed and will be leaving CubeSmart as soon as I sell what's in my storage unit.

The best indoor storage facility that I have ever visited while living in Pa. Clean and well lit hallway's, carts are ready and waiting to be used to assist with transferring personal belongings from vehicle to storage unit. Friendly and courteous sales personal. You will have a very hard time trying to find a reason not to patronize this storage facility than you would have trying to find a reason for using them. If feelings safe and secure is a top priority when choosing a storage facility to meet your needs then CubeSmart Self Storage is the way to go.

Received good, courteous service from Howard & Bambi. Howard Jasper particularly spent extra time advising on options, implications, tradeoffs, planning, & moving. He was customer centric & projected a positive service image for the company. Personal orientation & business experience are productive assets with him. I think as word spreads from their existing customers, the location is likely to experience continued growth. Company requirement for insurance is a high cost pain, as facilities do not offer risk requiring coverage. Howard even comes back in after hours to help some stranded soul who can not get out. Prices vary by location, & this location is usually lower priced than Frazer.

If you want your items smell like a dead animal, store them here. Rented here to store business inventory. Needed climate control. The worst disgustingly smelling facility I have experienced. Wasting a lot of money to use their space and will have to liquidate some of the inventory I have stored here. No amount of airing out will get rid of the deathly stink. Constant rate increses and mandatory insurance. Staff is OK. They are aware of the smell but pretend it's not there.

NEW EDIT - just moved out -- beware -- this is for other storage companies as well -- they DO NOT prorate upon vacating so CubeSmart has just profited over 2 weeks of rent from me--they are all about the $$ and no care for the customer. Also, they charge a fee when you pay your rent online, more $$ out of the customers pockets. Not clean--as mentioned, stink bug infestation and the same piece of trash in the elevator all week. No mention of rent increases when moving in. make sure you ask. rent raised 2 times in 1.5 years. they raise the rent after 6 months. also very high required insurance per month on top of rental fee. Hornets of some sort at exit gate so if you are allergic, i would avoid this location as i have to roll down my window and open my car door to access the panel to get out. i am afraid of getting stung each time! Edit - per your response - I was NOT told that there were insurance options. I was told it was a mandatory $12/month fee ON TOP of the ever-increasing rent--so I was LIED to. All storage places are ripoffs. Profits over everything.

I have been renting a unit at this Cube Smart location for approximate 5 years. An upcoming medical event has caused me to move quickly on emptying out a fair amount of my 15 X 30 unit with the help of a friend, but found I still to rent some space. I let the office know and asked if they had a unit about one-half the size. On the day I asked they Did not, but the very next day I received a call that one became available. I thought I would have more time to make the move and switch units so initially I declined the offer, but after discussing it with my friend we elected to accept the offer and moved everything over to the new unit that same day. They were quickly able to clean the unit, credit me on my old unit for the balance of the month and set up new payment arrangements. Manager Bebe & General Manager Lewis as always did a magnificent job, were easy to work with and very accommodating. I would recommend the Exton Cube Smart highly!

Bambi at this location was VERY friendly and super helpful on my move in day. She gets 5 stars. The gentleman who works here (believe he is actually the manager) was the opposite of friendly on move out day. When I knocked on the window to ask him if I need to do anything to complete check out (it was 10 minutes before the office officially opened but he was inside) he made a face that clearly let me know I was annoying him - he had to get up from his chair to come to the door. And when my storage area was empty, you could tell it was a huge inconvenience for him to walk up and make sure I was out before I left. Which is their policy - not mine. This after spending over $2,000 for 8 months of storage. In a commodity business, service = experience. Other than his grumpy attitude, the place is clean, easy to access when you need to get your things, and we always felt our stuff was secure.

I would have liked to have been alerted to all the fees that were required to be paid for the first month. I also would have liked to have been alerted to the fact I should purchase my own lock prior to signing the contract. More communication would be a great benefit. I think it's interesting that they advertised the first month is free yet I had to pays fees and such when I got there which was close to monthly price. Additionally, prices advertised do not include monthly insurance cost. Next time I will know to ask for hidden costs. Other than that i have no qualms.

Overall, good service. There were some communication errors between the online service and the Exton store, which resulted in me not being able to use the free truck during my 14 day window.

Great service. We have had a unit for over a year and recently downsized to a smaller unit, everyone was very helpful! As long as I'm in an apartment I will need a storage unit and it will be CubeSmart!

I found the people to be extremely helpful. They went well beyond just opening an account for me. They explained everything in deep detail, always offered water, helped give suggestions on streamlining issues, and were very personable.

Received great service. While we where moving furniture, Lewis even took the initiative and followed up with my insurance company to get the proper paperwork.

Great experience. Easy in, easy out. Bambi, the associate who helped me was great. Clean neat facility with all the options you need. The free usage of the truck on move-in is a nice plus.

I have been at cube smart since back in the day when it was united storage. There were two princesses named Deb and Bambi. I had No idea where I was going or what I was doing. Luckily they hailed from the land of storagania and helped me with all my questions. Several years have passed and the time has come for me to leave storagania and the fair princesses. They were extremely helpful from start to finish and I would recommend a visit to their kingdom anytime you have more stuff than you have space! Don't be a square.....use their cubes!
