The two ladies at the desk were helpful and friendly however I am not happy at all about the separate required insurance policy on top of the monthly bill that was not mentioned at any point until after I had already arrived at the facility. Whoever is in charge of that department clearly needs to work on keeping their advertising clear and honest. When I was shopping around for facilities the monthly bill for my unit would be 117$ and when I got there to pay it it I felt trapped because I had all of my helpers on their way already working to move things in to this storage spot and to change plans last second would have inconvenienced all 12 people involved ... it ended up being about $130 a month...that's a huge difference considering I can insure my whole house for less than that. I've been dealing with storage facilities for Over 20 years and not once have I EVER been required to pay EXTRA for insurance!! I don't understand why Cube smart doesn't supply it or at the very least be honest about the required insurance up front. I must say, I'm not feeling very secure at the moment with my misinformed decision to store my valued possessions here but I'm hoping you are more forthcoming with your advertising with future customers so as not to cause confusion and aggravation. Moving time is stressful enough without dealing with discrepancies like this. I'm on a fixed income ATM so yes, honest business matters!

I am very fortunate to have cubesmart's Tracy, to be very understanding of my situation. I had just driven an hour to get there and realized I was late on my payment and locked out of my unit and needed to unload a car load of things into it. Tracy was very understanding and stayed after hours to ensure that I was able to get into my unit after hours. It served a purpose But because of the outrageous cost we cleared out as soon as possible. Initial rate 150 but quickly escalated to 185. Forced us to buy a lock When we already had our own. Forced us to buy insurance , a fact not disclosed to us until we signed. Woman we dealt with very nice though. Husband made absolutely sure to disenroll us from auto pay.

Gave me a space too small for my camper . Crushed my ladder on the back. 2 months later when I got another space at self storage I paid rent on 1st left on 7th wouldn't prorated a refund. Self storage does and has larger spaces for same price.

I went in to rent a storage and at first everything was going smooth and then Debbie proceeds to tell me about how she fired another employee and how far she has to drive everyday 45 minutes because she didn’t like how the other employees operated the business and they annoyed her … I didn’t want to be rude but honestly that is not my business … she’s talks a little too much and I found. It very unprofessional … cubesmart is very expensive and units where extremely dirty and not to mention a little run down …. Needless to say I did not rent with them

When this place was tritown, during the pandemic, you were able to make payment plans. This corporation took it over, and has no empathy for people that are behind, due too unemployment issues. I had no income from July 2020, until October 2020. Finally started back to work at reduced hours. Tritown was allowing me payment plans. This corporation did not. However, the man there, Chris, was a God send, and really went to bat for me. He is an awesome person. I feel bad for him that he attached to such a heartless company.
