VERY hard and clunky to move your things into. The elevator is NOT on the ground floor, requiring you to LIFT your items to an elevated level. There is a ramp at a separate entrance but it’s about a mile from the elevator. It’s also million degrees in the storage unit area. Very hot and uncomfortable. I would highly recommend other facilities that are much easier to move into.

Horrible company. I reserve A storage unit on May 11th. Move in date is May 19th. I called in to cancel it on May 18th. They refused to do it. They are refusing to give me refund. They have a whole bunch of other BS fees which I already paid. Online prices you see are all fake. They will get you some how. They are like going to a used car dealership. They are making it sounds like I am defaulting a mortgage. I NEVER MOVED IN TO THE UNIT. I GAVE THEM 24 HOURS NOTICE. THEY LOST A CUSTOMER FOREVER. I WILL MAKE SURE, THEY WILL LOSE MORE. GO SOMEOWHERE ELSE.

Great experience renting a unit at CubeSmart! We needed a storage unit to move some items into but didn't know what size we needed. I called and spoke to Leonard, the store manager, who offered to show us the unit we were most interested in during store hours. He showed us two different unit sizes and reserved the unit we liked most so we could decide whether it was the correct size after re-looking at what we had at home. I returned two days later, and Leonard happily showed me a third unit. Leonard is extremely friendly and patient. He is knowledgeable about pricing and how the facility works. He knew more than the two CubeSmart corporate customer service representatives that I spoke to on the phone. Thanks, Leonard, for answering my questions and making the moving process more pleasant!

I don’t normally write any reviews on anything BUT this i feels like i needed too! If you’re still debating if you should choose cube as your storage space, Don’t think twice!! I was looking only for the best value and AFFORDABLE storage and cube came across. I am really happy with my decision haha. PLACE IS VERY CLEAN! (Hope it will stay like that forever) once we got there, met LEONARD the sweetest and was very very helpful! I signed my lease online so it randomly gave us unit number which located at the very back of the building so Leonard offered me if i would like to switch to the nearby unit( :)HOW SWEET!) but since we don’t really have any problem to walk around the storage units just to get some exercise once in a while haha so we kept what we have!! Overall very satisfied!!

My experience with CUBESMART was perfect. I needed a space to store the contents of my entire house for some months before shipping it all to the UK. I know that in my absents the load out will be equally excellent. From the beginning when I with spoke with Leonard, the manager of the 841 South Christopher Columbus Boulevard, I knew I made the right choice. It is also the most reasonably priced storage unit I have ever used. Every possible question I had Leonard had the answer to. The facility is easy to access both for people and loading in with a truck. The units are spotless and heated. There are cameras everywhere that insured me that my belongings. My advice is to not even to consider any other storage company other than CUBESMART.

Happy so far. Snatched a great deal moving across town, I appreciate the manager being upfront about rates increasing after a few months. Facility is clean, well maintained. Downside of this facility is there is only one elevator and the loading dock is small. It is new and there seems to be ongoing construction so I hope they will still improve this.

I have a/the 8’x10’ unit. I am providing here a photo showing the measurement. You can see the edge of the unit at the far right. Per property manager “dimensions are approximate and are measured to the outside edge of the unit” (therefore not the interior space). The paint line falls at 7’, and the measuring tape is set to 8’. The outside wall falls about halfway up meaning at best you lose a half a foot. Measure before assuming your long furniture/sofas/etc will fit. Had I measured the 8’x10’ prior to signing I would have upgraded to the 10’x10’ to ensure I actually get the 80sqft of storage space I need. Loading dock is a tight squeeze for two vehicles. When loading from car level you have to lift your items up or carry them up steps to get to the elevator. I was informed by the property manager that there is a ramp available to use in the office during office hours. I suggested that since this is a building in progress, they consider installing an actual ramp over the existing steps. My suggestion was taken as a complaint and I was repeatedly directed to the secret ramp in the office. Two stars because despite being told by two different people that I could be put in contact with two different levels of management, I only receive phone calls from the property manager who insists that this unit is only short 3” and addresses my other concerns with hostility. Decent prices so far but they are definitely looking to do a quick and cheap turn around on this real estate at the cost of quality.

Very friendly customer service. I have 2 units rented here, the 2nd was after the first unit,since rented online separately. Leonard helped with finding another unit of the same size closer to the first, so we could swap out. He was friendly and easy to talk to, while being knowkwdgeable and professional. Unfortunately when we were moving things in we noticed it had a minor issue that was in the process of being taken care of in that section, the only option then was the original one, which that unit turned out to be not so far anyway and the transfer was so easy and took hardly any time. Caused no inconvenience whatsoever. I highly recommend this facility. They are extremely clean, have great access hours and are conveniently located, especially with the current growth spurt on the waterfront. Thank you so much!

2 days agoReserved 10*30 through sparefoot. Came in yesterday and was quoted double the price even though they had my reservation. Called corporate and they said there was nothing that could be done because the relevant managers weren't working (first of the month on Monday) that day. The on-site manager would not honor the reservation pr ice. Ended up booking through Extra Space storage. Would not use CubeSmart or this location again!
