I absolutely loved the staff, especially the general manager Cari Massey. Her customer service was OUTSTANDING, and she goes above and beyond to assist customers. But I have rented storage units in multiple states (Virginia and California) for about 15 years. And I have NEVER experienced such a significant price increase during a two year rental period through any other storage company. For example, my storage fees in Virginia Beach on a unit that is 5' x 12' has only gone up $86 over the course of 6 years. My storage fees on a 9' x 10' unit in San Diego only went up $79 during a 4 year rental period. But the fees I've incurred on one comparable (Cube Smart) unit has gone up from $120 (introductory fee that didn't even last 6 months) to $192. That's a $72 price increase in one year and five months, which is INSANE to me. And it's such a shame for this Cube Smart location, because I would have been happy to continue renting the two units that I occupied based on the customer service alone. But the rental increases at Cube Smart are outrageous and reflect a very unethical business practice (profits over customers) compared to the other companies that I've used.

I made arrangements with them when I had my unit with them to take it out of my paycheck every month and I thought that was taken out of my paycheck I just found out they sold my unit back in June I did not know I was right or wrong that ain't nothing mail me a letter or anything call me or anything this place is very wrong doing this be held I'm selling a unit that they not call the customer on they should pay the customer the money that he lost with his stuff in that unit

I got storage unit mid November paid a prorated rate for 2 weeks when I got ready to vacate I had 2 weeks left in month I was told because I paid my bills on time no prorated rate which means they double dip I called several times to ask the people who ans phone didn't even know what prorated meant if I hadn't paid my bill on time I'd only have to pay for 2 was so you get penalized for paying bills on time beware

My daughter has a storage building and Centreville and has been trying to pay the payment can't get the automated to work correctly Cox customer service they transfer you back to automate call the main storage unit place and they can't help you can said they can't take payment over the phone which I know is not true cuz I've paid it and another storage building in Florida but did not say anything about having trouble no customer service skills I guess being from a small town like that we're used to having more one-on-one communication with people we know big companies taking over the world but I can say after this they called and completely fixed everything.

The office gal was awesome!!! I booked my space online it was easy process…when I stopped at the office to confirm my booking and that autopay was all set up… the office gal went over everything on my booking to ensure everything was set! The manager Robin is the only facilities manager I have ever done business with in MY LIFE that actually looked after her tenants and their possessions. I have a large unit and rent a space for my trailer and she actually prevented thieves from stealing my trailer while I was out of town. Words can't express my gratitude for her diligence and integrity. I don't really need a unit out here anymore but am keeping it because of the service she's provided.

If you put your stuff in these units, you might as well throw it in the trash. The owner apparently has issues with people breaking in, but too much of that excuse has been happening. I'm think the owner is the one stealing if anyone. Second friend of mine that had every bit of her stuff stolen out the storage unit. Second person that I know personally.
