Convenient location and Mike was very nice. Evidently water got in my storage unit. A couple of boxes were damaged as a result but thankfully contents ok. Mattress was in a bag but also got wet. Due to the bag and Texas heat, mattress completely covered in mold and had to be thrown away. It was less than a year old.

Horrible service, I was here 9:00, call and left a message, employee does not show until 9:10, when she is here she has an incredibly horrible attitude about the promotion they're running for first month free on sparefoot, calls the manager and decides not to honor it, which I don't care, public storage is running the same promotion, just don't appreciate the attitude.

When I first came to texas I found this place and was treated like family the moment I stepped through the door. The Manager was very knowledgeable about the different sized units and friendly. She was able to help get me situated with a uhaul. She was truly a lifesaver when I was going through a really rough time she made it easier.

Love this place, I moved in around a month ago and the Manager Lisa made the moving process so seamless. I thought I only needed a small storage unit but through the moving process realized I needed a bigger one. She moved me to another unit with no problems. Also when plans to use my friends truck fell through she hooked me up with a UHaul reservation that I could pick up and drop off at the storage place. Literally any set back I faced and was stressed about she helped me. I owe her my sanity.

Everything is so good here, the location, the cleanliness of the facility, and the secure parking. The best feature is the staff who are professional and courteous at all times. I pay extra to have boxes delivered right to my storage which is amazing. I looked at every available storage option in Del Valle when shopping for a space and A Mini Storage is far superior to everything else I saw.

They were incredibly nice at move-in and seemingly at move-out as well. Despite the rat poop and stains on our belongings and ON our mattress (they got inside the wrapping) after we set poison and traps before we closed the storage - we could forgive that because it happens. We were charged the day before we moved out and had been unable to contact them (they didn't respond to the email address we had been sent upon move-in and the contact form on their website was broken). The woman in charge kindly said she would have them reverse it and she would call us the next day with confirmation, SO we left on our way to do Dallas. After not hearing from her for 2 days, we called her and she was rude and explained that no, there was no way to get our money back for that month. Now, I'm getting around to writing this review because I looked in my account, another month later, and I have a pending charge for this storage company. So, not only did they not refund me that charge the day before move out, but they just charged me again a month after move-out. *Sigh* We move a lot and will not be using their company again.

IT'S NOT WORTH THE SAVED MONEY. I know if you're reading this, you're probably looking into the least expensive place to store your stuff in Austin. You're thinking "is the saved money worth risking my stuff?" We asked the same thing and here's your answer: IT'S NOT. Rat poop and chewed food (probably drug in by the rats) was on my mattress upon arrival. This was after HEAVILY dosing our unit with rat killer. Not good. We then tried to contact them about moving out 2 weeks before our move via email and contact form and got no response (we were out of the country). Then they yelled at us for asking for our money back when we moved out one day after rent was due (that's why we contacted them 2 weeks in advance). Even worse is that they will tell you one thing to your face then another on the phone. In person, they said we were getting our money back and were all nice about it. Then a few days later, when we got to our new place in Dallas - the answer was NO YOU SIGNED A LEASE. Pay the extra $20-$40 a month to store at a better facility. We wish we did!

We've been at this storage facility for three months. The manager lives on site, but it can be difficult to get ahold of her. The website says they have online bill pay, but they DO NOT. You have to pay in person. We have had to pay with check. It takes FOREVER for the checks to be cashed. In the meantime, we are being told that we are late, even though we have already given them a check and have a receipt to prove it. We went to put something in our storage unit today and there was an extra lock on our unit so that we cannot access it. We are up to date on payments, but cannot get to our things. Already looking for a new place to do business with. Some place that at least has a credit card reader, but hopefully online bill pay, because who has time to go out to their storage facility once a month?
