This review is based on my personal and ongoing experience with the Eldridge Parkway facility, dating back to 2021. After the site's transition to CubeSmart, the process was seamless, and I've had zero issues ever since, making this a highly recommended location. The facility itself is a standout in terms of security and maintenance. The units are very clean and well-kept, which is crucial for Houston storage. The security is amazing you cannot get in or out without your personal access code, which provides real peace of mind. Beyond the gate, the property features electronic gate access and ample video surveillance. For convenience, the site offers both interior climate controlled units and accessible drive up access units. The availability of elevators and complimentary handcarts also made the process of moving heavier items into the indoor units much less strenuous. A major highlight of this location is the exceptional team. I've consistently received great customer service from the staff. Specifically, Jaden and Norma, along with the head office manager, were incredibly nice, professional, and worked with me easily to ensure all updated information was correct during the transition. Their helpfulness and professional attitude really define the positive atmosphere here.In summary: If you are looking for a long-term storage home (I've been here since 2021) that offers amazing security, a consistently clean environment, and truly great staff (shoutout to Jaden and Norma), the Eldridge Parkway CubeSmart is an excellent choice. I’m at the front of the office rn. Nobody’s there. I came on Tuesday first nobody was there either. Thursday at 2pm I came out the office there was a sign at the door says that they are out of office will be back. After I got off from my job I drove an hour to come back to this office in order get to my unit ! Again at 5:50pm nobody was there and the sign was still hanging on the door. I called them 10 times no response. Definitely lack of service and management. I guess I’m gonna look somewhere else that they take job seriously! I lost business because of them… Not recommended at all

I paid for a storage unit for over 5 months I only used once. Honestly I forgot about I even rented it. Once my debit card got stolen that’s when I realized I was still being charged. I went into the location and told them I know longer needed the Unit. I asked if I could get a Mothers Day card I left in the Unit. I was told no by Alesia but before they disposed of the items she would let me know. Well I called and told my few items were thrown away! Just told me a bold lie after getting 5-6 months of fees for a Unit I used once.

I recently rented a storage unit, and have to say the experience has been amazing not just the initial rental though. There was a problem with my bill, due to a system error, and they were quick to look for a solution, they took care of the incurred late fees as they shouldn't have been there and did it all with a smile, excellent communication and top notch customer service. Tré was the person helping me and he did a great job. He explained policies and then went above and beyond to correct the situation. Involving his manger when needed. Over all great job, I'm a very satisfied customer.

Just trying to move early at 6:30am and there is no way a gate can manually be operated!! I cannot reac anybody! This inconvenience of sending the movers back and me not finding a way to reach the manager other than office numbers is why I give it 1 star! To start off the new year with a new apartment, I picked up a Uhaul from this location. Originally I was quoted around $160 for a one way trip, however John G. went above and beyond to get me the best rate possible. He provided me great customer service, and really helped me save a huge chunk of money for my move. If I could give this facility a zero stars I would. The customer service I experienced here was just horrible. I was "assisted" (if you want to call it that) by a lady who was by herself. She was on her personal phone and seemed like she didn't want my business. I should have just gone to the blue self storage place down the street instead. They too have trucks.

Spoke with Norma (I think) about a cargo van rental. It was reserved at 6am the next day so I couldn't grab it for a couple hours. ?? Sounds maybe strange but I appreciated her looking out for the other customer. If I were that customer and didn't have my vehicle at 6am, it would be highly upsetting. She was able to get me a reservation down the street at another company. ?? No hesitation in giving this location 5 stars. ?? Great communication, professionalism, and service. Very sorry to hear about the passing of their manager in other reviews. ?? It is so frustrating that many large corporations have done away with phone customer service. ?? This storage facility use to be a GREAT experience for me when Ms.Vicky was working here But now there is a new person running this establishment and I Highly DO NOT!!! I went in due to a last minute situation where I needed to move. The woman I worked with was very understanding and went the extra mile to make sure I was taken care of. They were very friendly and Made a usually difficult experience easy and memorable. One stop shop, got my Uhaul’s and storage at the same place, and it did not take long at all. They are very efficient and respectful of your time. I also absolutely loved the carts and the fact they have Elevators getting my belonging into storage have never been easier. Vicki and her team are awesome! Attention to detail, personable and professional all the way. I’ve rented at other Uhaul locations over the years, this is the best of all. The facility is clean, safe and secure and it’s elevated from street level. Storage rates beat the competition $-to-space. Vehicles are usually on the ready and well maintained, but it’s best to make a reservation. If I had a complaint it would be to have more flat carts. I recommend Eldridge Self Storage over the others in a 10-15 mile radius. It’s well worth your piece of mind.

Let me first say what a rare gem they have with Vickie. She is the definition o customer service. Obviously it just comes naturally. I have always used a different company in the past. However, I am so glad on impulse I turned on driving by. My girl Vickie (yep, she is so personable I feel like I have a new friend) she's informative, asks all the right questions to determine your need. She and John are a great team. Had the smoothest experience with all employees here. They were very competent, helpful, and flexible. If going at a peak time it should be expected to wait a while as this is a neighborhood location and not an official U haul location. Get the job done.. l like management here. When they saw they had done pedestrians wrong, they fixed it. But I believe they are still in violation of city code. Heck all they have to do is call 811 and tell that service that they are digging and 811 would come out and mark the utilities. Public space is, as they say, between the poles or the under ground utilities. Then they know where they could park their mobile unpermitted sign with UHAUL written on 3 sides.

Very upset !!!!! Rented a U haul truck Got quote from Brandon that was WRONG.... he told me I would pay .89 cent per mile .... they charged me $1.09 per mile without me knowing... Carole checked me in she was so slow , confused and rude !!!!! Spoke with the manager Vicki she said Brandon gave me the price for a different day and she is not sure why he made this mistake because he has been The awhile... but would not refund me the difference for THEIR mistake..... this place is near my home I would NEVER EVER use their services again!!!!!!

Rented a truck today. Simple online process. Simple check out process. The only thing, and it is not specific to this place but U-Haul in general is that it should be that every person returning the truck should fill it up completely instead of taking the truck 3/4 full and when you return the truck you don’t know how much gas to put in and usually you overdo it and put in more gas than you have used.
