I will never rent through them again i got the unit for one price then 4 months later it went up $15 extra dollars and that’s not what they quoted nor told me when i rented asked about pricing then i call and im told it usually goes up in the first 4 to 6 months after renting. I was a customer for more than 2 years and last month they sold my unit in an auction I know that is the procedure but they never try to contact me I called then so many times without returning my calls I left messages at least they should sent a letter letting me know that my unit is gonna be sold they would send you letters letting you know about the increasing they prices but they cannot send you a letter to your physical address I would never use Cube Smart this happen to me in the Little York location.

8/14/2024 Been here since 6am it’s now 7:39am. First day at new job and I desperately need to get some things out of storage gate access is not functioning properly so I can’t get in called the 800 number twice and they can’t open it remotely they did say other locations they can but not this location. You guys have to have something in place for situation like this. It’s very inconvenient . I’m a business owner as well and I hate bad reviews. I’ll remove this once this problem is fixed. I’ve had a few problems in the past but besides this situation everything has been cake!

Although the staff was nice ,my rental didn’t last more then a month .Within this time my storage room was vandalized And rat infested.The day i discovered the rat poop,I decided to clean my area ,while I was doing that a worker approached me and told me it wasnt necessary “to do all that “ ,I was deep cleaning with water and bleach . She then asked why we were doing it and after we told her she offered us rat venom which we accepted and said she would call a rat exterminator if it happened again. We came back and found more poop a week later and when we told her she just apologized and said there was no more she could do. Then my storage room had very obvious signs of someone trying to break in. I removed everything from my storage room the day I realized it had been vandalized and when I tried going to talk to someone to the office it was closed ,at 3:30pm on a Wednesday (well into their business hours)

Where should we start!? We been renting an ac storage with cube smart going into a year. We hardly visit the unit but we do try to at least once every few months. The times we been their the ac is always off. (Did I mention we are paying for a condition unit!?…;) I went this past week to move boxes around take things out & as I was going thru the boxes I had a lot of candles melted down. Also theirs a door that is in the middle of the hallway of those units and that door is always wide open covering my way to access my unit. & the one time I close that door so I could get thru a personal from cube smart was pretty rude, telling me I had to have that door open to allow access incase for emergencies I couldn’t be blocking the access. (So how should I access my unit?!)

We had a unit at Public Storage on Barker Cypress for a while and all they did was raise the rent every other month, complain about being questioned as to the reason for each rate increase and then when we moved our property out to relocate all they did was complain and say we never cancelled when we showed them text, phone and purchase dates in their office; then they tried turning us over to a private collection agency. We were in the right and they finally left us alone.

There was no one in the office, and no one to answer the phones. They changed the code on the secondary door and asked me to go in and get the new code from within the office, which would’ve been fine had someone actually been there.

I don't have a locker here but was in helping my cousin move out of hers. We had to go into the office to get the code for the gate. The blond lady was nice and helpful and gave us all information we needed. When we were out at the locker, the same lady came out with a dolly to if we needed it. The place was very clean and gave real good service. My cousin had been there almost a year and said it's a good safe place for storing.

Very clean, nice staff. The gate keypad is awkwardly placed dangerously close to the gate (larger vehicles could easily run into the gate trying to drive up to the keypad, I have a 4-dr and I come real close every time). Also, if a vehicle is parked in an upfront parking space, you can't pull up to the keypad to use it from your vehicle. The keypad placement is the only detractor. Otherwise, great place, great prices!

Everything was ok on attendance, The manager explain everything pretty clear. But the only concern is we found a small wall damage in our storage (314) and I took some photographs and show to the manager and she said she will write a note in our file. Hopefully we are not get in trouble, cause I already notified the damage.

They raised rent $30 within 3 months of renting. The units are invested with bugs and rodents. Every time I went there were hundreds of spiders nesting around my furniture. Some of my furniture looked like it was chewed on and scratches up. Nice from the outside but units are not worth the money.

Short and sweet.. I placed the reservation online. When I arrived, I was greeted politely. The young lady located my reservation quickly.. We took a look at the unit. It was clean and ready to go.Ten minutes later, paperwork was done. And I was on my way.. Property was very clean and we'll kept..
