The manager of the facility is a flat out liar. She made it very clear to me for some reason that SAPD has contract with them and they bring there new K9’s to run through and smell all the units. Which is false. This is the manager of this place. At the same time she’s giving a tour she’s talking down on people that have rented in the past for some reason. Not a very mature and professional lady to have that title in my opinion. She looked at me and judged a book by its cover and she judged wrong saying what she said to me. Even got someone to come try to intimidate me.

When store was taken over by CubeSmart there has been a very real decline in the quality of care. Store is filthy with trash and open units everywhere. It looks like it hasn’t been swept or mopped since it changed hands. Garbage everywhere outside and staff was very rude to me when I asked a simple question on when my bill was due. Can’t wait to move my things…smh

Pretty nice facility, air conditioned, clean as a whistle and you don’t have to worry about anyone breaking into your s**** because there’s atleast, at minimum, three (3) different times you have to enter your code just to get to your unit. Absolute Pain in the butt, but it beats the alternative.

I got lured in on a promotion of $19 for the first month but really ended up paying $54 - admin and insurance fees and I even bought my own lock! Not much of a deal I’d say. I was rushed into deciding because I had very little time to work with, so I signed on the dotted line. Then comes the REST of the story … $70 a month for a 5 x 10 unit!!! You get very limited access to the unit - (Only 6am - 8pm). The only good thing is that it’s climate controlled & this location was very clean. Here’s the grand finalé - after the 5 day grace period - there is a $25 LATE FEE!!! The 2 employees of this location (San Pedro/Audubon) were very customer friendly and provided good customer service. Other than that I was/am not satisfied or happy with this storage facility. When looking for an affordable storage unit facility,I recommend you shop around and ask ALOT of questions! Special offers are NOT always what they seem to be.

1. The AIR condition/ climate control is wayyy TO ?? hot compared to other facilities like KEY storage is COLD ?? as well as PUBLiC storage 2. Very DIRTY,, bad ODOR s!! Gooey substance coming up through the floor . 4. No BATHROOM access ( key ?? required, & office isn’t OPEN same hours as the storage facility) even though I pay OVER $300 per month!!!??? 5 employees have a bad attitude and Wana DEFEND when they should EMPATHIZE!!?? 6. Also overcharge monthly for insurance even when u have PROOF of homeowners insurance??? Do yourself a favor and gO ANYWHERE else!!!$$$

Climate control, genuinely helpful Staff that care who will present All specials available, advertised or not. I leased space 1.5 weeks ago under a special saving me some $75.00 for my first rent. Basically, I leased the most secure and cleanest storage unit ever all without a lease other than the monthly payment responsibility due by a few days beyond initial contract date. Access 7 days a week including holidays; sweet ?? On site security 24x7 and the Corporate Entity puts up with zero nonsense. All offenders are prosecuted when any are so bold. This Company does comply with the ADA and has some, near 100 Accessibility units available right now-2022.05.07. Donnie, General Manager of this unit has a great character and a Hawk’s eyes for potential security & safety problems. I know, tagged once for a bit messy litter pile when I failed to see another tenant wishing to pass. I’ve selected a few photos for your perusal. Don’t even look for ‘em as I avoided video and sensor equipment placements. There’s a nice early warning system too. Today there were only 2 carts for the entire facility. The staff were surly and not sympathetic. Poor service

I reserved the space online. Received a call to confirm letting me know they closed at 5 PM that day. I arrived at 3 pm to pick up my keys and sign the paperwork. Was informed at that time of an automatic addition of $14/ mo for insurance. I asked if I could decline and was told I needed proof of my homeowners policy covering a rental unit, and needed it in order to complete the reservation process. Well I'm already there and not going home and coming back. I asked why they didn't tell me that when they called and was told 'thats our CC office (whatever that is) and they don't always tell people'. Um...ok. That's kind of important information to know! They reminded me to bring my ID but not proof of insurance?! When I arrived after five to bring my things the office was closed, which I knew it would be, but there were no carts...anywhere. And if your unit is on the first second floor you don't have access to the first to even look for carts. I appreciate the safety aspect but part of closing on the evening should be for the office to walk through and make sure carts are returned. No one else was there so I assume they either don't have carts or they were on other floors I didn't have access to. Not a great first impression. The office staff was nice, so I'll give them that, but the move in process left much to be desired.
