They really botched this move… not sure if I should give them a one or two star. I must have talked to them a dozen times before the move. I was coming in after hours from a long drive. Wanted to make sure I would have all my ducks in order. Of course I could not get in the unit, and of course they are not too concerned about that because I’m not getting any reimbursement or call back! Luckily, someone opened the gate for me So I could unload. The place looks like a prison camp. The tenant that let me through, also confirms that the communication at this place is way below par…

I rented a spot for my travel trailer a covered area that had light and electrical outlets and I was told this stuff was working at the time and when I went to go plug it in to try to keep my battery on a maintainer the outlet didn't work and the light switch didn't come on I tested it with my volt meter and there's no power going to it I complaining to the person at the desk and I was told they don't Supply electricity. The four stars is for the incredible service that the girl gave me I don't remember her name but she had really colorful hair and a great smile and she seemed to know what she was doing I blame not her but management for the training that she didn't receive to know that the electrical outlets didn't work.

The location I originally wanted to rent from had no working gate, and neither did the location I paid for. I went against my gut instincts and gave the closer location a chance to change my mind. The lady who helped me transfer the agreement was super nice and I understand there's so much she could've done to prevent what happens at the stoage units when nobody is hired for security to patrol or at least ensure there isn't anything crazy going on, but still. The unit I was going to rent, that I had already paid for, was occupied and the door was kicked in. Along with the gate not working either, I chose a different company altogether

If I could give a -??, I would. CubeSmart sucks!!! My dad had to fix the door to my storage rental because it went off track. I tried to find someone from the office, but there was no one there, nor was there an after hours #. The next week we went back & there was a huge gap at the top of the door. Rats/mice could’ve easily gotten in & left their feces all over my property that was stored there. I was told by office staff that their hands were tied & that they didn’t have anyone who could come fix it, & that we would have to wait until Monday until someone could come from Houston, TX to Victoria, TX to fix it. This was not an option for us as we were moving to Bryan on Sunday (this happened on Saturday morning). No one from corporate bothered to call me back until Monday afternoon. We basically were forced to leave a lot later than planned because I didn’t feel safe leaving my property in the storage with a HUGE opening at the top of the door. I am disappointed & disgusted & DO NOT recommend CubeSmart. Take your money elsewhere! Move It Storage off of the Houston Hwy in Victoria, TX is a MUCH BETTER facility & they have a handyman on site at ALL times!!!

Had to move out before I went outta town so I put everything in my uhaul just to get to the storage & the lock is on it ,now I don’t need the storage because I’m going out of town so I have nowhere to put my stuff thanks a lot cube smart.
