Called ahead to find out how big the units were and the cost and their assistant manager answered, he was very patient with me as it was my first time getting a storage unit to keep all my furniture in till I move into my new apartment. He answered all of my questions and was super nice. I was able to come in a day later and got it done within minutes, guess he told them I was coming in. Great service!!! If you live in addison county and need a storage unit I highly recommend them.

Well even though it's the most expensive place in town I had plans to use the unit I'd been renting for SEVERAL months to store my old truck. Pretty sure I told the Manager there several times I'm difficult to reach between 6a-6p and yet I leave work to receive what seemed to me as rude voice mail "you know what this is about" and email TWO whole minutes later closing my account 5 days before my next billing cycle. So thanks for the early eviction.

Cubesmart raised my rate to more than three times the prevailing rate in the area without notice or explanation. I couldn't move my belongings for several months because a move entailed considerable travel back to the area and because initially I couldn't find large enough, reasonably-priced storage. But the primary challenge was size. If I'd been willing to discard some of the property in Cubesmart's container, I could have rented a 10x30 space for as little as $130/month. I have now moved my possessions to a 12x30 space elsewhere, cutting my monthly bill by more than two thirds. Apparently Cubesmart believes it can take advantage of Vermont's tight storage market to extract high rents, perhaps because there are Middlebury College students who can afford them. The one factor in Cubesmart's favor is that the local manager was honest in processing my departure. I think the difference between Cubesmart and its competitors in Vermont is that whereas most other companies are locally owned and hesitant to take advantage of neighbors, Cubesmart seems to have no sense of local responsibility or shame at gouging a customer.

Absolutely love this place because of Brittney! She was so friendly, fun and easy to talk too. She was efficient at her job and made sure I got the best rate for my unit. She explained the entire process for me and made sure I was comfortable with the placement of my unit before continuing. I wish all processes could have been this fast and seamless. This was a great storage unit until it switched hands from Prime Storage to Cube Smart. Since the change you can no longer have your bill set to autopay, which made it transition from a convenient process to a pain. Not bad in the warm months, but forget about easily accessing your unit when there is snow. Make sure you bundle up and bring a metal shovel. We had a storm two days ago and the rows were plowed which was good but there was two feet of snow topped with a thick layer of ice from the rain yesterday. Instead of clearing units they bury you in snow and ice you have to clear yourself if you need anything from your unit. I am extremely disappointed in this new company/management.

My experience with Prime Storage lasted 3 months from December to February. I ended my time with them purely based on the fact that I set a deadline for myself to be make room at my private residence and stuck to it. The clerk at this location was incredibly friendly and helpful. We had great conversations and when I had questions, she was always sure to help me find the answers. I had ZERO issues with billing. The other reviews here seem incredibly suspect to me as my experience was nothing at all like theirs. I was late on a payment once and I received no price hikes and no price changes at all. In fact, my experience was undisputably better than any other storage unit company I have used. Lastly, the facility was clean when I showed up and they were clear about making sure I left it the way it was received. Storage facilities generally need to be on top of their renters as people use these facilities for illegal activity. They need to be strict and thorough in preventing this behavior. This facility balances itself between both extremes. I rate Prime Storage 5/5 because all listed above and I hope this is helpful to all who take the time to read.

If it was possible to not even give them a 1 star I would have chosen that. Absolutely disgusted with how poorly managed this facility is, the girl who helped me get this set up a month ago said the payment was due on last day of the month. I go there this weekend to move everything and there is a second lock on there and no one to answer the phones. I called them today and kept getting the run around from everyone. Was hung up on the first time. Had a manager call me back and said it is still my fault, 5 days late and it was not even my fault and they locked it. They take no accountability and charge over twice as much as everyone else in Addison County. I would not go here even if it is your last resort I will have everything out of here in less than a month so I never have to do business with them again!

I would not recommend this storage facility! we had an agreement to pay with a card and when i got a new card they never bother to tell me the payment didn't go through. instead they slapped me with a fine and locked my storage door. A phone call from them would have saved everyone a lot of hassle. poorly managed!!!
