Amber is phenomenal. My dad used this facility to store his car hauler and race car for more than a decade. He passed last year and she worked with us to get papers and finances straight without having to worry what would happen to his property. I had a great experience with these guys! I bought a car in Richmond in early 2021 and stored it here until Dec 2024 when I was able to get it shipped up to Alaska where i live. Staff was very nice and professional when I dropped the car off and anytime I called them! When I dropped the car off I didn't have time to put a cover over it but the staff put one of the car for me which I appreciated so much! I don't think I'll ever be back in Virginia again but I'd recommend them to anyone! Thanks again for your time and business over the past few years!

Staff like to stalk and accuse people of things that aren’t happening. Claim that people are sleeping in units and what not but don’t walk around to actually see and check in. This property IS NOT 24 hour access because they’re lazy and just assume anyone in there everyday after a certain period of time is sleeping or doing other things that is NONE of their business. If one works 8 to 5 which is my hours and my family we don’t have time during the day to come out. Mainly at night when they like to lock the gate even though it’s a 24 HOUR UNIT.

One thing the Prices to rent a Storage Units are Very Expensive, For you to STORE YOUR OWN PERSONAL BELONGINGS WITHOUT CLIMATE CONTROLLED STORAGE UNIT IS WRONG !! And I don't think that they should Charge That Much For A Non CLIMATE CONTROLLED Unit !! So I Probably won't be back there unless they Charge The Prices.

I have been a customer here for a few years now and I’ve always been satisfied with this business. Lance and Barbara were always so wonderful, and I wanted to continue to support after he passed but after management change and the few changes that have been made I think I’m going to go elsewhere when I have the time. I am now inconvenienced during this move. I now have to worry about if I can make it to storage in time to get my things out in time for the end of my lease, in between your new gate hours when it says on Google 3 weeks ago that it was approved by the business that it is 24 hour access but then I get denied at the gate. In the middle of the night. When I finally have time to move my belongings after work. I have never had an issue moving until now because I am now at a halt in my move and may not be out in time to not be charged. Thank you for the inconvenience and extra expenses

I currently rent a 10x10 unit and highly recommend this storage facility! Friendly staff, well maintained units, great price and a free truck! I had initially reserved a unit and truck in advance with Uhaul and the day of moving my reservation had been messed up and the unit/truck I reserved had not been saved for me. I came here needing a unit the day of moving and they had me all set within a few mins! The free truck had been reserved already for that day but they went above and beyond by staying open late for me to use the truck after it was turned in by the other person. Greatly appreciated!

If you value your belongings, go elsewhere. We had a death in the family and did not know when the storage locker was due. We called and were 2 days past due. We tried to pay for what we owed and empty the decease members locker. Barbara was nothing but a mean uncompassionate person. Demanding a death certificate, saying we should have one the day he died, telling us we needed to go to probate court all while we have the key to the locker and the money to pay for the few days he was past due, due to whom being dead for almost 2 weeks now. She gave nothing but push back. Her husband Lance was a bit more sympathetic but also still did not allow us to clean out the locker. Here we are a month later and they still won't allow us to clean out the locker and are racking up fees. All because the coroner and doctor have not issued us the death certificate yet. So we have the key, money AND are on the contract as an authorized person to access the locker. Hopefully no one dies in your family while having a locker here because you will not get your loved ones belongings back.
