Very pleased with climate controlled storage at this location. The place was always neat and clean. I felt very safe knowing access to the building was limited, there were cameras monitoring the halls and staff was on the premises most of the day. The staff was very helpful. It was handy that they have restrooms on site.

CubeSmart Self Storage in Oshkosh,WI is awesome. It is heated and very clean. The two guys in charge are very kind and patient. I felt so comfortable as soon as I walked in. They raise prices on unit every 4 months , so far up 80%, its not worth it im just going to cancel and clear out my unit wasent worth it last price increase this is motivation to move thanks but no thanks, starting rate 88$ after 1 year rate is now 167$ sesrch them on reddit they do this to everyone. Canceled my unit at of 12-10-24

We booked online which was easy and the manager called me a couple days later and was very kind on the phone. I went to view where my unit was and Jeremy was great and very helpful! The facility was very clean. The only thing I was not happy to hear was my price could change at any time. I feel that if that’s the price I was given there shouldn’t be a reason in just a couple months that it should increase. We will see how it goes and if the rate increases to much or a few to many times I will definitely be finding another company.

UPDATE 11/26/2024: On month 4, I received a notice exactly 30 days before my 5th month of rent is due, that my rent is going up $38, which I agreed to in the contract. I am a little disappointed that the rate increased before 6 months of rent, but I go in every month and check on my unit. It's always clean, I feel safe, carts are available now. Just hoping rent doesn't increase for another year. ORIGINAL 8/2024 :Staff is great! Explain everything really well, and walk you to your unit and make sure you have no issues getting in. The the little gift bag! I like the controlled climate and not as expensive as Uhaul. I feel safe when coming in and appreciate the security around the building and the lights coming on as you walk. Please put a ramp on the door that doesn't have one. Secondly, I really wish there were more carts. At least 4 per storage area at ALL entrances not just the first two.

Rented here for 9 months - had to leave temporarily due to life circumstances but will be back asap. Best place I've ever had a storage unit. Jeremy and Eric are awesome - super friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. They take the safety and security of both the facility and renters here very seriously. All details on pricing etc. were clearly spelled out in the lease and thoroughly went over in person. If they bent over any farther backwards to make this a great place to rent they'd be doing back flips. Thanks again!

DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE. I regret to say that I cannot recommend CubeSmart. Initially, I chose this facility for its apparent suitability for long-term storage. However, my recent experience has left me seeking alternatives. Upon renting my unit in October 2023, I carefully selected a 25% off ongoing rental charge promotion over a free month, as it seemed the more beneficial option financially. However, upon receiving my bill on April 1st, I was shocked to find my first $17.40 price hike, and my 25% coupon still in place. This sudden change was not communicated clearly through the app or any other means. When I contacted CubeSmart, I was directed to Jeremy, the store manager who corporate says is directly responsible for the price increase. Unfortunately, our interaction left much to be desired. Despite my frustration, Jeremy's demeanor was unprofessional and dismissive. He explained that price increases are standard practice, akin to other storage companies like UHaul. He also took joy in informing me that my 25% promotional discount will also be removed after the six months (next month); which was unexpected and not adequately disclosed in the beginning or during online enrollment. Like others, I was encouraged by positive reviews, and am disheartened to realize that positive reviews may be encouraged early on, masking the reality of long-term customer experiences. While CubeSmart claims to notify customers of price changes via email, I did not receive any such notification. This lack of transparency is unacceptable, regardless of what Jeremy claims are industry norms. In summary, my experience with CubeSmart has been disappointing. I urge potential customers to be vigilant with their auto-payment amounts and investigate charge increases if currently with CubeSmart. If considering a storage unit company, I consider you to thoroughly research their options before committing to long-term storage with this company and maybe consider one of the smaller units. I'll admit that most took a few days longer to respond but my impulse decision to go with this company has left me paying substantially more money long term if I do not move my possessions.

Rats got into all of my stuff and the protection plan did not cover that. I am out hundreds of dollars trying to recover what they have damaged. I chose this place because I thought my stuff would be safe. The least they could do is refund me what I paid. I might as well had kept my stuff in a garage.

On-site staff were always great to work with! Access hours and ease of using the facility was wonderful. We appreciated having the flat bed carts available to get things to/from our unit, as well as restrooms available should we need them. Went to pay for unit and pick up keys/access and he quoted me almost thriple what the ad states (he told me 215 per month not the 85 per month on web site). When I questioned it he said that is with 25% off as the ad stated. I'm disappointed in the quality of service provided and do not recommend that you rent here.

It was affordable and centrally located. I didn't like the rudeness of the employees and the threatening nature they used and name calling. When asked for management or clarification or adjectives used they weren't informative I wish they were more flexible and transparent as I was in the situation.

We had uhaul and barr storage before cubesmart. This one was my top favorite until 4 months in they went up $54/month. So they are $326/month for 15×15 and the only place that I ever had my prices changed especially that soon after! We thought 272 was high but it was doable plus comparable to other places. But $326 is over $100 more than anyone else in our area????????????? Don't ever. Go here. They always get greedy.
