This is one of a series of articles spotlighting our storage facilities and neighborhoods.
With so many people moving in and around Lewisville and new apartment buildings popping up left and right, a self-storage facility can quickly become an unexpected necessity. Less than five minutes from Old Town, our Lewisville self-storage facility on Highway 121 Bypass can be the perfect solution to your moving and storage needs. While everything might be bigger in Texas, lying just north of bustling Dallas, Texas, the smaller city of Lewisville offers the amenities of big city life with a small town sense of community. With a diverse art and culture scene, quintessential Texas grub, local festivals and sporting events, and a beautiful lake, it’s no wonder Texans and out-of-staters alike have been flocking to this area to work, play, and settle down. Since its first population boom in the late 70’s, the area has continued to grow and today the town boasts a population of over 100,000 residents.

Lewisville Apartments vs. Storage Cost Analysis
On North Garden Ridge Boulevard, less than ten minutes from our Highway 121 Bypass CubeSmart, a 1-bedroom apartment rental starts at $1,485 for 697 square feet. A 2-bedroom starts at $1,960 for 990 square feet. For that one extra bedroom in the same building, you’ll pay an additional $475 every month. If you are looking for an extra bedroom as a means of storage and not for a roommate, you could save nearly $397 a month by renting a 10×10 indoor storage unit at CubeSmart. For about $78 a month (as of 10/8/16), a 10×10 indoor storage unit fits the contents of a standard 2-bedroom apartment (believe us, we’ve been there done that). You can keep your 1-bedroom Lewisville apartment, and conveniently store seasonal items, clothing, mementos, and more. Put that $475 a month you would have spent to good use elsewhere!
